Our image upload process (OOTB I think) includes the creation of a few thumbnails specifically required for use on AEM screens only. But they appear as static renditions for each image, and are also options for download. I've read that the display of these can be limited by using the 'image preset listing' and 'image preset datasource ' nodes. Couple of questions 1/  Are these renditions actually needed just for AEM internal use ?If they are - it seems crazy that the default is to display them to users and to show them as download options when they have no relevance to users. 2/ Does changing the node setting also remove these renditions from being download options ?I assume not. Also presumably changing the number of static renditions displayed would include limiting any user generated image presets being displayed too.These are likely to be always needed as they are user generated. Thanks

Hey y'all,  My team is running into an issue with our SFDC and Marketo Sync / Database. We were recently over compliance and deleted a lumpsum of records, however the next morning we discovered that they have all re-uploaded. We want to be able to sync records that interact with our marketing content but delete records that we have been wanting to delete and not have them re-sync through our systems. Has anyone ran into something like this? Seems like a vicious cycle we are trying to get out of. 

Hi team,We are working on a solution to extract all the audience metadata (name, description, tags, creation date etc) from AEP and share a list to the client. However, we are not able to find any REST API which shares the total number of profiles in every audience. Could you please share how we can achieve this.

 Hello, I'm hoping someone can help me with this.  I have a task-based email calendar report to show when an email is scheduled to be sent. The send date task is connected by a predecessor to the design approval task.  I'm researching whether using text mode the field on the report can change color based on the status of the predecessor task.  For example, If incomplete the color is greenIf complete the color is red. Has anyone created anything similar?  I'm not great using text mode so any help is appreciated.  thank you  Peggy 

Hi All,I am looking for an info regarding AEM Community sites on AEM as a Cloud Service.Does AEM as a Cloud Service support AEM Community sites ? I am not able to find anything on helpx docs. Though I can't see the communities options in AEM as a Cloud service instance. We want to create a report in workfront which should only show issues which haven't been actioned in the last 5 days ( here haven't been actioned means, the issue status has not been changed from 'Awaiting Approval' to 'Ready to Delivery' in the last 5 days)Example: If issue status = Awaiting approval on 27th march 2024 and there has been no status change for 5 days since then, this issue should be listed in the report and flaged. I am facing difficulty finding the most accurate field to pull into filter to show the last status update date? How to do this filter config in standard mode or in text mode if someone can share the syntax please?

Hi experts, We are trying to deploy personalization through Adobe Target leveraging the Edge segmentation capability of AEP and ran into issues. While the segment is getting qualified in AEP, Target is not able to qualify for the segment and hence not delivering the experience. I have followed all steps mentioned in the document: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/platform-learn/implement-web-sdk/applications-setup/setup-target.html?lang=en and can't figure out why the qualification is not happening in Target?Below is the screenshot of the Target activity with the segment id: "platformSegment":"509b9e02-4f9b-457a-abe8-fe5316af2632"When I check for the profile id through Postman (for my ECID), I am seen qualifying to the same segment in AEP: Has anyone faced similar issue of the segment not qualifying in Target though the ECID qualifies for the segment in AEP? When we try to activate an audience to LinkedIn, the audience builds for over 2 weeks - and we can't push the ads until the audience is done building.  Has anyone experienced this?  Or figured out a work-around.  Any advice would be appreciated

In our use case,Authors Group- Have create/write/modify access to content pages.Reviewers Group- Doesn't have create/write/modify access to content pages . Only read access given as they are restricted to change any authoring content.A reviewer can only add comments using annotation on an already authored page.Since annotations are stored under component / page node (jcr:content/cq:annotations) in the repository ,In Annotation Mode, Write Operation fails as CQ:Page is not given write/modify access for Reviewers Group.Reviewers not able to annotate.Is there any solution? Can we store the annotations in a different content structure and still able to refer in a page.Thanks.

I am currently trying to get the my GraphQL endpoint set up for my Preview service. I have gone to Deployment -> Distribution -> preview -> Distribute and added my endpoint and models with successful responses from the logs. I have also publish out the content to the Preview service and the GraphQL persisted Query to Preview. Hello   when the following field is present upon a schema, I am facing an issue when attempting to write data into the field. "sampleField": { "title": "Sample Array Field", "description": "An example array field using a primitive type.", "type": "array", "items": { "type": "string" } }  The field is defined as field[], which is just an array based field.   I have attempted to use collect_set to insert data into the field, but getting an error message of object is not compatible of target type string. 

I have created a Custom Form which has a field called KTLO Effort Type.  It can have a selection of one of 6 values which are dropdowns in the field.  When I create a project and add the Custom Form, I require that this field be completed.  This works fine.  So this form is added to the project and has the value that was selected from the dropdown since it was required.  I have also 6 other custom fields which have their own dropdowns for values for each of the possible values that KTLO effort type has.  These dropdowns have the value for TKLO Task types.  When I attach the Custom Form to tasks, the value for KTLO effort type is blank and must be selected from the dropdown again.  I would like to have this value be the same as the value selected in the Custom Form attached to the project.  Is there a way to make the Task: KTLO Effort Type value be equal to that of the Project: KTLO Effort Type?

Hi All,Our team has been using issues chiefly as as requests for incoming, unplanned work.Recently we decided we wanted to be able to log reasons for task delays in some of our projects.  There was a point of emphasis that we need to have the ability to log more than one reason for delay.  Rather than trying to use a multi-select custom task field (which would cause difficulties when trying to sum/chart the individual selections in a report), I think we're going to log the delays as issues on the tasks.We're likely going to be doing some processing in Fusion of the requests in our queue, so I started looking at ways to differentiate the requests from the delay issues (or from additional requests/issues handled by other units in our company).  I created an issue report of two test issues--a task delay issue and a request:For the delay issue, there's obviously no Queue Topic; however, there is a Queue ID.  I can use the Queue Definition ID as a filter in a Watch Event

We have our target opacity set to 3000ms, as default set on the body element. This is affecting the LCP (Largest content paint), and SEO speed of the website.#1 ) How can we avoid flickering or have an optimal opacity setting that does not affect LCP#2) Is 3000ms the adobe default?#3) Has anyone have less than 3000ms and have an optimal LCP reading? or should we set the opacity on a different element, to avoid flickering, but still have LCP load fast

We have a requirement to include special attributes like async, defer, nomodule to the script tags generated by client libs. We have found there is no out of the box AEM support for this. We tried to find other options. But we are only getting following github links and not getting proper steps to install these extensions. Hi! Does anybody have any suggestions on implementing Tags in a SPA? I want to become more proficient with Tags so I created a new Remix app (uses React) and a new Tags property. Should I just include the Tags script in the `<head>` for my environment, install a data layer extension like Adobe Client Data Layer, and push events to it from my Remix app? For example, page load events could be pushed from a `useEffect` in route components. Then we can set up rules for these page load events and set Adobe Analytics variables using the data that is pushed with the event. Or is there a "better" way to implement Tags than this for a SPA? For example, I ran across this video recently and am wondering if this is an alternative way to do what I just described above?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9eouvCtNRU Would like to know before I invest more time into thinking how to structure my dummy Remix app and my data layer, and rules and data elements, e

In the past week I implemented a few new events. These were setup in the admin section with the correct type and all other settings selected. The event was configured in the ACDL and tracked as a click. I verified that the correct event number is being triggered on click and passed in the b/ss pixel. When I attempted to configure a report in Workspace, none of the new events are available to select. I’ve searched all over Google and the only thing I’ve seen is that there could be a “delay” between implementation and being able to use the metric. Is this still the case or am I missing some step? It’s been several days since this was setup. I also confirmed that we’re nowhere near our event limit in the contract. If this is a delay thing, how long is the delay? Are all the values that have been passed lost? I’ve never experienced this issue in the past, so is it new?

Hello!I was troubleshooting an issue and deactivated/reactivated a user.  Didn't fix the issue, and it created another where the user is now listed as [deactivated] on the proofing workflow so they can't access some proofs.  I've tried removing then adding them back, @ mentioning them, changing their role, sharing the proof, and have gotten nowhere.  Any ideas or tricks you can think of to fix this? Thanks!

Hi,I have created a Adobe Portfolio website.I would like to connect my portfolio to Google Tag Manager in order to track events on it. I've tried to add my GTM Tag, but it is refused. The Adobe Portfolio seems to accept only Analytics tag. It is a pity.Does it exist a solution to add my GTM tag to Adobe Portfolio ? Regards,
