Good morning, I'm encountering a rather unique problem that I can't seem to fix. To make it short I use javascript code which configures schedulers, but when the workflow runs and executes the javascript code it must be restarted for the scheduler modifications to be taken into account. to prevent it from restarting the workflow in a loop I use an instance variable "<variables lastSavedDate="xxxx-xx-xx"/>". The Javascript code will check if the value that I entered in a script variable (var inputDate) is equal to instance.vars.lastSavedDate, if this is the case then it continues processing, if this is not the case then it updates the lastSavedDate variable with the value of inputDate then it restarts the workflow. In theory I think it should work, in practice my instance variable is simply cleared. when I do a logInfo(instance.vars.lastSavedDate), the log returns "undefined" and when I return to the workflow variables there is only "<variables/>" which is ent

Is it possible to have 1 custom metadata schema reference another? For instance, I have: customSchema1 which has application, image, and video customized underneath it.  It is applied to folder1. customSchema2 which also has application, image, and video customized underneath it.  It is applied to folder2. The only difference between the 2 schemas is with the image customization.  application and video are identical so I'd like to be able to reuse them rather than duplicate them. Any thoughts?

Hi All,Recently, I am working on an requirement where I need to grant the publish access to a group users on a specific assets folder in Assets. So, I added crx:replicate privilege on the path of the assets folder for the user group, and then I can see the buttons of Quick Publish and Manage Publication, that is good. However, I find that Quick Publish is working for me, but Manage Publication is not working. When doing Manage Publication, it is throwing the error of "Not enough rights to manage publication.". By the investigation, I find it is lack of workflow relevant rights for Manage Publication. After I add the group to the members of the AEM built-in group of "workflow-users", Manage Publication is working in Assets. However, it is also visible and working in Sites pages (where I didn't add crx:replicate privilege), which is not expected.Does anyone know how to make Manage Publication working based upon crx:replicate? Hi All, We have extended the ASC search provider to have the business requirements get fullfilled for some of the metadata values being restricted as per the user groups.- This part is done and working. The requirement now is that fulltext search must be something like below: If I search with keyword:  Hello WorldThe result must come up with data which should contain both the words (not just hello or not just world, but both) and the order does not matter.So for example next time If I search for World Hello, this should return the same number of result. Articles can be ignored here... So What I am searching is for full text search with AND operator between words.So I somebody searches for Hello World.We can split the search and search words "Hello" AND "World" in the repo with query builder. Is therey any way to do this with ?If somebody can guide me to extend ASC searchprovidee for above kind of requirement that would also be ok.  Thanks,Ni

Hi All,I have used delegate pattern to extend list core component in my component sling model. @Self @Via(type = ResourceSuperType.class)    private List list;Collection<ListItem> listItems = list.getListItems();When i use this pattern, i could not retrieve getter methods from model class in  junit using aem context request object. It throws null pointer exception. Without this, i am able to access it. Inside setup method:context.addModelsForClasses(CustomListImpl.class);  MockitoAnnotations.initMocks(this);  context.load().json("/com/demo/aem/common/components/CustomListImplTest.json", "/content");  context.currentResource("/content/customlist");  CustomList list = context.request().adaptTo(CustomList.class);list.getParentPage() -> throws null pointer exception. On upgrading from Java 8 to Java 11, all unit tests with request.adaptTo() have started failing with NPE - code snippet below. We are using Junit 4 and mockito-core version 2.25.1. Please advice on this issue. Do we need to add additional dependencies when upgrading to Java 11? I export reports from Adobe Data Warehouse and feed them to our BI dashboard. Before exporting, we exclude suspicious "Cart IDs" using a Segment. Here's how I do it:  manually drag and drop "Cart ID" from the Dimensions lists one by one into the Segment. And then populate it with the Cart ID numbers we want to exclude. Attached is a "screenshot" of how it looks inside.  As you can see, it's a pretty time-consuming task. Sometimes, we have to exclude more than 50 cart IDs in a single day, so we have to drag and drop the "Cart ID" from the Dimensions list into the Segment one by one which can get quite overwhelming. I would like to know if there's any way I can automate this or, any shortcut or feature that I am not aware of which will save us time and effort.  

Hi there, I am looking to maintain a list of metadata that we have in AEP for our stakeholders to see what's available. Is there a way to easily export the fields out? Some example of fields I am looking for are: Field name, field type, description etc. I tried using the API but it returns a very complicated set of JSONs. Thanks.

I'm unable to download the whole project tile with assets and everything. How can i download the whole project tile.

I am using AEM Cloud and I want to embed one component in another component. They can share the `cq_dialog` of the parent component but I will need to pass some properties values into the nested component, such as text for a nested Button or url for an Image component. By reading this and this post, I know that we can use `data-sly-resource` like below to render a core Button component.   <div data-sly-resource="${'button' @ resourceType='core/wcm/components/button/v1/button'}"></div>   However, it just renders as a blank sub-component. In this case, a blank button without title or link.  Maybe I am misunderstanding the `data-sly-resource` attribute, but I don't see the point of rendering a component without adding values to it. How can we pass in property values to the nested components so they render correctly? Thank you,

In an html file I can see a code like below.{{@root.group.name}} - {{add.cityCode}}I believe that 'add' is an object . But I cannot see a statament like data-sly-use.add=//some class name in the htl file. There is only a single occurrence of 'add' in the file. Could you please tell me how is it possible? Also I need to show a Item  add.cityZip if cityZip is not null (cityZip is a string a suppose that it can be null or empty). If it is empty I need to show {{@root.group.name}} - {{add.cityCode}} otherwise I need to show {{@root.group.name}} - {{add.cityZip}}-{{add.cityCode}}. could anyone share how can we use the if else here?

Hello,I have a situation where all the information about products is stored in a lookup system in AEP (Adobe Experience Platform). Now, in my marketing campaign, I need to access these details before sending out an email. The product codes (SKU) are stored in an experience event schema, which is linked one-to-one with the product lookup schema. In Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), I can easily access the product codes from the experience event. I proceeded to try to do 'add-api' however the "Experience Platform API" is greyed out. I am the system admin of the adobe products. We have AEP the following products.. Adobe Experience Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Experience Platform Data collection, and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics.

Hi all, I'm currently working with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and have a specific requirement to initiate a journey based on dynamic dates. In my case, I have already captured an attribute termed "Arrival Day" within the Customer Data Platform (CDP).My objective is to utilize this arrival date to trigger a journey three days prior, meaning the trigger should be set to "Arrival Day - 3".
