Content fragments located in assets folder (/content/dam/) doesn't sort when Created is selected. Is it possible to sort all the content fragments in AEM Cloud? I tried to test it via on-premise, sorting works as expected

Good afternoon,   I've created an Email Script Token ({{my.SFDC_Type}}) as follows:   #if( $lead.SFDC_Type.equals("Lead") ) #set( $sfdcindicator = "1" ) #elseif( $lead.SFDC_Type.equals("Contact") ) #set( $sfdcindicator = "2" ) #else #set( $sfdcindicator = "0" ) #end ${sfdcindicator}   The token is to be appended to email links as a querystring, e.g. companynam.com/global/en/corporate/?sfdc_type={{my.SFDC-Type}} and when the email is previewed, the URL renders as expected, e.g. companynam.com/global/en/corporate/?sfdc_type=1     However, when the email is sent, the value is not present in the email URL:     What might be the reason for this, especially because the value does display when the token is included in the email body:       Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Kind regards   Karl

How do you conditionally deploy a clientlib or component only in the AEM Stage or Prod environment in AEM as a Cloud Service - without using runmodes, which are no longer supported in the traditional sense?Most documentation still refers to classic AEM paradigms. Hello,I am moving one of my organization's pages to a new url within the same site. In order to redirect users who have the old url bookmarked and to keep SEO intact, what is the best way of moving the page? Will moving the site and listing the old url as a vanity url or an alias suffice, or will I need to keep the old page intact with a 301 redirect in order to keep SEO intact while redirecting the old url to the new one?Thanks!

Currently, if I try to create a new block, I need to create a structure ( model, filter, definition ) and push it to my remote. Merge it to my main and start editing on the cloud instance. Once I am done authoring the block, I publish it so that I get the data on my localhost:3000 and make further changes on the design/decoration. But this is too much of a burden to always push things to the remote if I need any change in the content model or make changes to the cloud instance ( if the change is to be made on the authoring of content). Now I want to be able to make all these changes on the local machine itself. I like the authoring to happen on my localhost, and the same changes should be served from my local to my localhost:3000.  I tried to look at many blogs, many articles, but everything is quite incomplete or is written in a way where it is assumed that assumes the reader is already a master of this tech. Hi Team We are looking for a solution to have our lower environments' Public URLs(via Dispatchers) to be brought under authentication. We have enabled basic authentication for the lower environment via dispatcher, however we are implementing the steps manually for each environment. Since following are the constraints.1. Each lower environment has a different username and password.2. Also not able checkin to the dispatcher repository as the credentials are different and should not be enabled on the Production environment. It would be of great help, if i get a little assistance on this requirement. RegardsBishnu

I need to create social icons (instead of standard ones) as wknd site and integrate them properly in my project.

I am trying to access nav.html and footer.html directly from scripts, but I am consistently getting a 404 error. Is EDS intentionally blocking access to nav.html and footer.html?However, I am able to access nav.plain.html and footer.plain.html without any issues. The problem is that plain HTML does not include data attributes, making styling more difficult.Is there any way to directly retrieve the full header and footer HTML using URLs like:https://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page/nav.htmlhttps://<branch>--<repo>--<owner>.aem.page/footer.htmlRight now, both URLs return 404 errors. Let me know if there’s a workaround!

Hi guys, I wanted to convert my pdf to xml format using the sdk. I did try to do it directly from the app, but after few pages, the structure is getting messed up, like every single sub heading is just under one header. So i had to make multiple small pdfs for the same pdf and manually convert them through the app. But this is eating away my time. I wanted to ask if: 1) Am i doing something wrong with the software? 2) Is there option to convert pdf to xml sdk? if yes can anyone provide me with the code please.

I wanted to add UTM parameters only to the internal links (client domain links) and not to the external links(non client domain links. ex- youtube.com/ google.com, etc). Is it possible to configure utm parameters for selective domains/links?

Hi Team,i want to create a schema with below fields where multiple values can be supported so what should be my approach in creating this schema and loading the data into AEP, plus once it is created how can i create audience? field1field2field3ABCFGHiABCEJDoABCABCDEXYAGCDEBIXy Just to update you, approach that i was thinking is more of creating Dummy field with object as a data type where i can store same field 1 with different values for field 2 and field 3 but while creating audience its causing issue where i am not able to select Field 1 as its is inside the Dummy field object so i am not able to store the all ABC into the audience. In ACS, we used to Have Insert or Update for creating records inside schema but not sure while schema what consideration i can take so that they are part of profile enabled schema plus i do have an option for inserting all records and fetching that inside audience. Any help would be appreciated?

I am new to Adobe Target and looking to build an integration to send audiences to Adobe Target.  How do I request access to those APIs?  The developer console tells me i need to request access.

I tried to create a new user group for the intention of having non-admins use package manager. As an admin login, access works fine, but I do not want to grant serval users admin level access when they just need to have the ability to create and replicate packages.The group is given access to:/lib/libs/cq/core/content/nav/tools/deployment/libs/cq/core/content/nav/tools/deployment/packages/etc/etc/packages /etc/packages/my_packagesBut they cannot access Deployment > Packages. No matter what I change, they get a 404 error "requested URL /crx/packmgr was not found." What am I missing to enable users access to package manager? 

happy monday folks! i'm using velocity script (via email script tokens) to show personalized content in my marketing emails. Im at the point where I am no longer able to add more personalization scenarios within my emails has I've hit the velocity script size limit:Cannot get email content- <div>An error occurred when procesing the email Rendered_Email_Velocity_Error_Area_?! </div> <p>The total scripts size is 111901, exceeding the limit size. near</p> <div><pre >?</pre></div> the direct solve is probably to scale back on the personalization but i'm wondering if anyone is aware of some sort of velocity script truncation tool?
