Hello Friends,   What I am trying to accomplish: I am attempting to create an "Editor" access level in AEM Sites 6.5*. This level would have permission to edit text/components/content within a path they are given access but not add new components nor delete components. I've searched the internet, this forum, but nothing has pointed me in the right direction.   What I have done: I have been approaching this with an ACL - demonstrated in the below screenshot. I have a root path where the ACL is applied, and below that root page are child pages with no additional ACL applied.   What worked: I  succeeded in accomplishing this for all of the child pages within a given content path. An "editor" is able to modify text/components/content on child pages but receive an error if they attempt to add/delete a component from the page. The web address will link to an online gift card for them to redeem.   What is the token I should utilize for these unique gift URLs? ....To ensure they are correctly pulled from the spreadsheet. Hi! I am trying to create an audience for an XT which includes a profile script. The audience will show a certain menu to users who visit the site with ?att=ps6260 as a parameter in their URL, and the profile script needs to then serve the same experience to users who return to the site but this time without the URL attribute (but who had it on their previous visit) I've found this for URL attributes, but I think this one is just applying the URL parameter to all pages of a visit, not storing it from a previous visit:   if (page.query.indexOf('att=ps6260') > -1) {return 1;}else{if (!user.get('BCorp_return_visitor')) {return 0;}}   Any help would be very much appreciated!! 🙂 

Hi all, I've seen one post similar to this but wanted to hear from the community. We experienced a pretty sharp decline in clicks and opens after Marketo made a system-wide update on 2/15/23 in which they block IP addresses that belong to a company that provides an email security service that scans emails (their functionality leverages bots to click links in emails to scan for malicious content).  Did anyone else go through this experience?

Hi,   I'm trying to figure out what products on our site are added first, second, third, and so on. I've tried multiple ways to create a sequence segment but have had no luck. Is there any other way I can see this data or get to it?   This scenario is for when an Easter item is added to cart first then within the same visit another cart addition exists but it's not related to an Easter item. Current Segment:  1. Cart Addition exists & category = easter then within 1 visit 2. Cart Addition exists & Exclude category = easter   Any help is much appreciated!

Is anyone monitoring AEM 6.5 with JMX Exporter and Prometheus + Grafana? I have created a customized report in Workfront, it contains a column named Assets having a link to the documents section of the Project. This column is not visible to all users as a link. Admin and Project Managers are able to see and click on link however other users cannot click it is a simple text for them. Does anyone has any idea, please assist.    Thank you

We have a Metadata Profile that we had created in AEM Assets Metadata Profiles. I added this profile to a folder by creating a folder then going to properties for that folder and under the metadata profile tab applying the metadata profile.   So when I load files into that folder, why doesn't the Metadata profile apply to the files being loaded in that folder?   When checking the properties for the files in that folder, it shows the default metadata schema form.

Hi Everyone, We are currently designing a solution where ecommerce website will be integrated with Campaign classic. We are using jssp to load order and customer data. However, mostly used data loading process in Adobe campaign is feed file mostly. So, my question: a. Is there any drawback of using jssp vs feed file b. Is there any volumetric capacity to keep in mind for jssp usage vs feed file c. Is there any security aspect to keep in mind in jssp way   Please let me know further any upside or downside of using jssp vs feed file in live project. Since it is an ecommerce website, we are expecting large volume (100k/hr approx)

If an image is present in AEM,  I am deleting it and then downloading the updated image through assetManager.createAsset().   After downloading, the image is updated: for example: http://localhost:4502/content/dam/torrid/pdp-assets/185/007/18500707/18500707_av1.jpg If I access image through this url the downloaded image is previewed.   But if try accessing the image through: http://localhost:4502/assetdetails.html/content/dam/torrid/pdp-assets/185/007/18500707/18500707_av1.jpg   getting the old image, the one before downloading.   Any help regarding the issue is very much appreciated.   Thank you, Nandan

Hi Everyone, We are encountering an issue regarding datetime in our current solution in both JSSP and Workflow. We are receiving "dd-mm-yyyy hh:mm:ss". However, it seems parsetimestamp or any other functions which is capable to format such datetime data. Can anyone suggest how to use any javascript function to get timestamp from the above formatted data.

Hi, I'm trying to store form field values to session storage and access them on the thank you page, when form is submitted. I tried the attached code in Data Elements. But it's not working as expected. Meaning the values do not appear to be in session storage when i check on thank you page. Any suggestions on how best to do it? 

Hi Friends,   please help understand how we can detect the user session expiration programmatically and show alert box whether to continue or end the login user session?   We have enabled Azure SAML and after session is timed out, user is getting "Authentication Failed" message and nothing else when accessing same page.   How we can detect session expiry or presence of cookie and act accordingly(Redirect the user or some popup with link)?   Please help

Hi Team   I am working on some hide and show logic on form-options-input component. I have written js script in form-options-input.html which is working fine however when I move this script to clientlib it is not working atal.   I can see clientlibrary called in edit mode but I want changes to work in preview mode.   I have created clientlib with categories as cq.include and under items node added properties sling:resourceType as granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/includeclientlibs and js as cq.include.   My clientlibrary is still not working.
