I am trying to implement maxmind's geoip2 and I am at the step where I need to initialize the DatabaseReader, my database file is currently stored at ui.content/src/main/content/jcr_root/conf/<my-app>/geoip/GeoLite2-City.mmdb and I am trying to access it like this: public Location getLocation(InetAddress ip) throws GeoIp2Exception { try { File database = new File(this.path); this.db = new DatabaseReader.Builder(database).build(); return db.city(ip).getLocation(); } catch (Exception e) { throw new GeoIp2Exception(String.format("Could not determine data for %s", ip)); } }   But I am getting the following error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /conf/<my-app>/geoip/GeoLite2-Country.mmdb (No such file or directory)   I have verified the file is named correctly and that is shows up on the CRX so I am guessing I need something to actually access this.

Hi Team,   AEM : 6.5.12   We need to save a very BIG JSON String of size around 3.5 MB, in a node property.   What is right way to save? Just as a String data type? or should be saving as a Binary data?

Hi all!   I'm working on a new nurture series. This is the email sequence that I would like to use. Would you recommend a set of triggered smart campaigns or an engagement program? Email 1 will be triggered to be sent by being added to a static list.     Right now I have it all set up with trigger smart campaigns, but was wondering when/if an engagement program is better. AEMaaCS 6.5x   I have a custom component which has a nested Parsys inside.  I want to restrict this parsys to only allow Button components to be used.  How can I achieve this?   For more context: I have a Hero component which is being re-used on many different pages within the website.  On some pages (but not all), the hero is part of the template structure and the content author cannot change this.  On other pages, the content author may choose to place the hero on the page if they wish.  In all cases, the hero has a parsys where I would like to allow one or more button components to be placed.  The website will have multiple types of buttons which can be used: the default proxy of core button, a modal button that opens a modal and plays a video, a notification button that acts as an "add to calendar", etc.  The content author should only place any number of buttons inside this parsys, but it needs to be restricted to only allow for buttons

I am trying to access Adobe Experience Manager Web Console - Configuration to update  jaas.ranking.name to 1100 how I can do it on AEM as cloud service sandbox since access to /system/console/configMgr is prohibited in AEM Sandbox. We are trying to access “system/console/configMgr" for some system level configuration. For our usecase it is very important to aceess the configMgr window. When I am trying to access I am getting below error.  Please let us know how to access “system/console/configMgr.  

We have solution tags in the backend of our webpages - every page is tagged with a solution area. Now we want to use these tags for our interest scoring/solution scoring.   Example: I visit the webpage example.com/how-to-forecast with a tag in the backend: analytics.   I want marketo to read the tag: analytics and give +5 points on interest score: analytics.   Our webdevelopers don’t want to add these tags in the url as part of the slug - reason: keep them clean and user-friendly.   What are the best practices to achieve this? How do we push the tags to marketo when someone is visiting the page? (must be usable in trigger). Any tips much appreciated. 

Hi community,   I've created a button component to send email, and when i tried to test it in "view as published" mode, first i got this url and the image below.Seems like everything is ok at this moment. URL:localhost:4502/content/training/us/test.html?wcmmode=disabled And when i clicked the button, nothings happened and the url changed to the one below and the email was not sent. Also at header part a context hub appeared and below the button some empty space appeared. Then if i click the button again it finally sends the email. URL:localhost:4502/content/training/us/test.html? I have no reason why the button did not work at the first time i clicked it, also have no idea why this context hub and empty space appeared. Prefer some help! Thanks in advance!  

I have a list of documents that require periodic reviews. I would like to have a Calculated field that adds a Red border on the Title field when the Review Date field is =< Today, and Amber if the Review Date field is Today -1 Month. JS is not allowed hence the need for a Calculated field. Title - Text Filed Review Date - Date Field Todays Date 21-11-2022 Document 1 25-10-2022 Red border because it is past Review Date Document 2 12-12-2022 Amber border because it is within 1 month of Review Date Document 3 20-02-2023 Nothing as it is over 1 month from Review Date   Thanks in advancePete

Hi Team,   I have such data in the feed :   ##entity.id entity.name entity.offerType entity.inventory 11-SPO aa 11 1 23-AS bb 22 1 34-PO cc 11 0 45-UI dd 13 4 56-OK ee 11 1   offerType can have the similar value . Recommendation could return top 3 entities but 11-SPO and 34-SPO would be similar item. how do I stop 34-PO not to show in recommendatons?

Hi, If we are bringing in transactional data with purchase amount, how are we able to get monthly average amount when creating a segment?  For example, if we are looking to segment users who spent an average of $400 a month? Thanks

We are facing issue in Adobe Campaign Classic email when trying to synchronize. There is no issue when we create email from scratch but found issue while copy pasting it. I found release notes https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/release-notes/service-pack/6.5.6.html?lang=en where it is fixed but still we are facing it in AEM 6.5.11. Please help if someone came across the similar problem

Hi, I am trying to save workflow priority by setting priority through workflow process step. However, the property is not getting set to the item even after commiting the change as per the below snippet. In crx/de it still shows the priority as 0(which is 'MEDIUM').  Any suggestions here please.     NOTE : I have give system user all the required permissions (read,write, modify). Thanks Raviteja K

Hi,   My question is a bit strange. Where does the code for the AEM application run from? For instance when I run localhost:4502/aem/start.html where is the aem/start.html code or what servlet does it trigger?   I am also trying to find the code for /crx/packmgr/service.jsp just to learn a bit more about the platform and how that works.   thanks Sam

I went through the steps outlined on this page to implement the getTimeToComplete plug-in:Adobe plug-in: getTimeToComplete 1) Added the "Common Analytics Plugins extension" in Launch 2) Added an action to my "Initialize Plug-ins" rule with the following configuration:Extension: Common Analytics PluginsAction Type: Initialize getTimeToComplete 3) Added this code to an existing rule: s.getTimeToComplete("start"); 4) Added this code to another existing rule: s.eVar1 = s.getTimeToComplete("stop"); I get this error:Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: t.getTimeToComplete is not a function I tried using getTimeBetweenEvents instead but I get this error:Uncaught (in promise) ReferenceError: getTimeBetweenEvents is not defined Any ideas on what's going on? Recently we have started upgrading code base from Maven SCR annotation to OSGI R6 annotations. I have below one scenario where it does requires to have multiple property values as below. We have a need to render webp images on AEM 6.5 Assets. How is it possible ? Firstly thumbnail renditions are not getting for such assets. Secondly a webp plugin could compress and generate .webp.jpg images (which are still JPEGs) and could not generate .webp images.   Problem with .webp.jpg is that firstly its quality compromised w.r.t webp images. Secondly for a browser like IE11 which doesn't have a fallback for webp (in the form of jpg rendering), images won't get rendered that way.   We are looking for *.webp images with thumbnails generated. Any soluion here will help.
