We came across this issue today: We have a rule that is supposed to be triggered by the DOM Ready event together with the condition of finding a specific string in the URL. The only action is 'Set Variables' using custom code. This is followed by 'Send Beacon' and 'Clear Variables'. If we set 'Send Beacon' to s.t() all works fine. But since we want to treat the rule as hit, we would like to use s.tl() instead. However, if we do that, the rule isn't triggered. It was my understanding that this change shouldn't make a difference, but I guess I was wrong. Can someone help me to understand this behavior?

Hi everyone, I am now working on implementing new tracking requirement on one site via Launch. Our rule is triggered by custom event and sent as s.tl(). However, it shows the error message in console - Failed to execute  "Send beacon". (see below)I have searched several previous discussion. --> some say it can be caused by not updated AA extension--> it is updated.--> some say it can be caused by not updated Experience Cloud ID extension-->it's updated. At the same time, the rule "Migrated from DTM: Adobe Analytics - Send Beacon on every page" is fired and sent the beacon without the same error message. But the tricky thing is that I saw no network request, either. I am thinking whether it is caused by an outdated plugin? We are still using the same setting that we did several years ago (from DTM period).  It would be great if someone can give me some hints/direction to troubleshoot. Many thanks, Yu

Hi there,is the a way in AEM we can include an experience fragment on a page without including its css and js files, using HTLSomething like this, is there any argument to pass to ignore/exlude css and js file on this.<sly data-sly-resource="${ @ path="experiencefragmentPathHere", resourceType='wcm/foundation/components/parsys', wcmmode='disabled', decoration='false' }"></sly> Thanks

Hi!  I have been having issues trying to split a series of strings in one line by different delimiters.  This is the code I am using:    #set ($latestMeetingTimeFromArray = $latestMeetingTimeFrom.split("\s|[:\.]")) #set ($latestMeetingTimeFromArrayString = $convert.toString($latestMeetingTimeFromArray)) array : $latestMeetingTimeFromArrayString <br>   (I'm printing out the array for debugging) $latestMeetingTimeFrom can have values like the following:    12:00 PM 1:30 AM 11.00 PM   My aim is to store hours minutes and the meridiem in three separate variables, and as you can see, the delimiters are colon, dot and space.  I have tried all sorts of supposedly valid regex expressions to indicate all possible delimiters (with character set, three individual chars in OR, one char set with all three... ) and I have even tried passing a limiter of 0 and 3, but still the array ends up containing only one character: the hours value.  Exampl

Hello All - We are encountering an issues with the Style system. The styles are configured in the template and the respective cq:styleids are stored in the component's node as we are using the styles in the component. It is working fine in Author and Publish instance. When it comes to dispatcher, the style are not getting applied. I have verified the following config as well but no luck. Can somone tell me what is required to load the style defined in the template editor. system/console/jmx/com.adobe.cq.wcm.style%3Atype%3DComponentStyleInfoCacheMBeanComponentStyleInfo Cache Configuration

Hi All, In AEM 6.1, we are sending Json data to the UI via JSON library, now we are migrating to AEM 6.5, i have tried with Gson library but for that, i ll have to create lots of pojo classes, which is not feasible for my code base. Any feasible solution to replace JSONObject and JSONArray. P.S. I have like 20 servlets and all are creating JSON structures using above. Please help Thanks,Ankita

Hi again, quick question, im building a submit email/PDF button here and again works great, and it looks a bit like this: var cBody = "Please provide your response by completing the Accommodation Review and Agreement Form";// Build the email URLvar cEmailURL = "mailto:" + cToAddr + "?cc=" + cCCAddr + "&subject=" + cSubLine + "&body=" + cBody;// Function that actually sends dataevent.target.submitForm({cURL: cEmailURL,cSubmitAs:"PDF",cCharSet:"utf-8"}); Now, question, in the cBody variable, is it possible to include a link to another PDF? so that when the email is fired-up, and pops onto the screen, i can see that link within the body message of that email.i was thinking, maybe an Href function, but not sure how the syntax might even work. Thx again

I am looking to see if there is a way to link to or display the Project Details page of the particular project from the Proof Approval notification email. Or if anyone has any suggestions on how they handle this... Some of our executives who are only utilizing Workfront to approve proofs that are sent to them, are wanting to know the details and background around the request/project as they are reviewing. Without having to teach them how to navigate throughout the system to find the Project Details and back to the proof manually, we are looking for a way to get them that information with a click of a button. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance :)

Hi,    I am trying to use Content Fragment Models on AEM 6.3.3.0. However when I edit a Content Fragment Model and try to save the submission fails as I am seeing a javascript error. This seems to be a product issue as I was using a vanilla instance with none of our code deployed.coralui2.js:32890 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'localName' of undefinedat Object.t [as upgrade] (coralui2.js:32890)at n (coralui2.js:32890)at Object.t [as upgradeAll] (coralui2.js:32890)at initElement (coralui2.js:33940)at Object.Coral.commons.ready (coralui2.js:33975)at HTMLButtonElement.<anonymous> (clientlibs.js:4704)at HTMLDocument.dispatch (jquery.js:5226)at HTMLDocument.elemData.handle (jquery.js:4878)

@Sanford_Whitem2 @Dave_Roberts   I am so close (yet so far away) on getting this form to display the checkboxes properly on mobile.   engage.livelyme.com/preference-center-jennifer.html   I am dying to get this project completed this week. Marketo really is tricky (ie: painful) to work with due to the convoluted workflows and I tagged both of you because I know you know EVERY trick in the book.   Thanks in advance

Adobe AEM provides a UI where you can edit, export and import your i18n strings for translation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/developing/components/internationalization/i18n-translator.html?lang=en#creating-a-dictionary The URL should be /libs/cq/i18n/translator.html When we use this URL on our local cloud SDK install, it works. When we use the same URL on our AEM Cloud instance, we get a generic 403 message back. We have raised a support ticket with Adobe, but they have not been able to provide any answer. Does anyone else have this issue with AEM cloud, i.e. no UI to export, import or translate i18n? We are admin users of the AEM author instance.

All my events triggered are stuck, they are not processing and the execution delivery is also not getting created. What would cause my transactional messages to behave like this?

Hello, According to the official documentation peak volume of Transactional Messages is 50,000 messages per hour. What Adobe will do with those messages, that are over the limitation e.g: 55000 messages per hour? Adobe add them to the queue or will those messages failed? Is it possible to increase the limit? Thank you in advance, Alex

There will be one script that we need to add on all the pages in metadataSo can you please help me  where we need to add this script so that it will start loading on all the templates     Thanks in advance

We are doing an integration with 3rd party Commerce solution. While writing integration layer in Adobe IO we realised that the commerce schema is not working with Magento Schema. Some of the primary keys needs to be converted from Integer to String and some of the fields needs to be updated. On the cloud environment, can we customise the CIF Addon schema. Or do we need to build our own connector with the schema.

Hi All, Recently we had VM migration from an old location to another one. The migration cloned one branch of the whole architecture as the following: author -> publisher -> dispatcher. Nothing changes except the new clone has a new domain name. Now we found a problem, the dispatcher doesn't cache. We can authorize contents from author, the contents will be replicated all the way to the dispatcher, but the dispatcher always skips itself and tries to get contents from the publisher. For instance, if we create a file abc.html directly in the dispatcher, it will report a 404 error because it doesn't exist in the publisher. If we delete a cached file in the dispatcher, say xyz.html, we can get the content directly from the publisher but no xyz.html created in the dispatcher.  At last, if we shut down the publisher, we will see "The proxy server received an invalid response from an upstream server.", a Bad Gateway message. Any help will be appricated! Kevin

Sub assets that are created as a part of the "Dam update asset workflow" are not getting activated to publish. Similar post with no resolution: https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/subassets-created-as-part-of-workflow-not-getting-activated-to/qaq-p/292285 I know couple of ways this can be achieved isActivating the whole treeCreating a package and replicating itBut I need to know how this can be done via the authoring console. CC: @kautuk_sahni  @arunpatidar

Hello, I'd like to know whether there is an AEM out-of-the-box functionality or a related solution has done where you author a page from AEM and expose everything as an API or a mini-application package. Then, the consumer can call that API or the link to that exported mini-application and render it as a page. All elements/css/js are still there.

For the most part, when I work with a breakdown, I would check to include "unspecified" data.  However, when I use the Referring Domain dimension, the "include unspecified" filter value was grayed out.  As a result, the row total cannot be set to equal to the grand total.  Am I missing something else?
