Hi everyone,as you are aware privacy regulation within the EU is getting getting more restrictive. (Europe’s top court says active consent is needed for tracking cookies – TechCrunch). For web Tracking a "Cookie Banner" has to be implemented giving customers a choice over cookie placement. Now these question concerning App Tracking (and I hope there are some App Professionals among you )Question 1: Is there a Identifier set via Adobe Analytics SDK placed on the user's device?Question 2: Does regulation consider this (possible) identifier as a cookie?Question 3: Are there CMP-Providers (CMP = Consent Management Plattform) that have an Integration for app tracking? Thanks,Stefan

We are attempting to visualise an SMS which would arrive to the user stating: “the price for policy number ABC123 is £100.00” and in order to do that we tried the following code in the Text content section of the SMS recurring delivery workflow item:However, when the SMS arrived at the mobile number it looked like this: “the price for policy number ABC123 is #100.00”. This is the case on both Apple and Android devices. We have also tried passing the symbol through as a variable, to no avail:We have tried collecting the symbol using code in javascript:We have tried forcing the encoding under the Typology tab of the Properties menu:There are 6 character encoding options, we have tried all 6 and not forcing the encoding and all of them return the pound symbol as a hashtag in the message upon arrival. We have also tried sending a hashtag to see if the hashtag and the pound sign characters have been mixed up somehow and that returned a hashtag too. Please let us know if there is a fix to this.

Hi all,We use the Marketo forms 2.0 on our website. On a few machines we have seen an error that reads:When most people visit our site we do not see this error in the console, however, for at least 2 machines we've seen this. We've been able to fix it on each of the machines by having them physically type in https://app-sji.marketo.com/js/forms2/js/forms2.min.js into the browser. After that point the forms load for them. For all forms we are using the embed code provided by Marketo. Has anyone seen similar issues / know of a reasonable workaround? Is it necessary to edit the embed code provided by Marketo to have it work for all users all the time?Stephen Ross,Intradiem

There is no textfield predicate available to customize aem inbox filter. Is there a way to add a custom filter to search by initiator name in aem inbox filters?

Hi all,As per the business requirement, I am working on providing login functionality for multiple websites on same AEM 6.1 SP2 Instance. We already have a website which is configured with an IDP and SPID accordingly. Now that there are few more websites added to the same instance, we are in a process of providing login functionality for them. We have a single IDP and multiple SPID's with respective rankings for the websites. So upon creation of multiple SAML Configurations, the handler picks up the highest ranking configuration and processes it, for whatever the website it is with the "Path" configured to "/" for all the SAML configurations. Is there a way for us to say that www.aaa.com has to use SAML handler 1, www.bbb.com has to use SAML handler 2? Or is it something which we need to extend the existing SAML auth handler for doing it so?My requirement is something near to this topic: Multiple Domains and SAMLHave followed the below mentioned forum threads, but no luck in getting th

We have multiple websites in same instance with different domain. Currently we are using Adobe saml 2.0 configuration for authenticating one of the sites. Now we need have authentication for other domains too. I have tried adding separate adobe saml configurations for each domain. We have single IDP url and separate SPID for each domain and path given for all was "/". while login in to any site, it is redirecting to the url provided in the handler with highest service ranking.I tried providing the path field according to the domain, (ex. for www.abc.com, path as /content/abc and so), then I am getting below exception.Caused by: org.apache.sling.api.resource.PersistenceException: Resource at '/saml_login' is not modifiable.at org.apache.sling.servlets.post.impl.helper.SlingPropertyValueHandler.setProperty(SlingPropertyValueHandler.java:152)at org.apache.sling.servlets.post.impl.operations.ModifyOperation.writeContent(ModifyOperation.java:411)at org.apache.sling.servlets.post.impl.operat

Hi guys,I have a wish from my business stakeholders to be able to sort images based on quality. The reason being, that the quality determines, what the image is fit for. E.g. does it live up to the requirements for printing? The quality parameters includes: DPI, resolution etc.I've looked around in AEM on different images, and it seems like the different fileformats are storing these data in different attributes - and also in a different way - making it hard to use one attribute for getting the DPI, one for the resolution etc. Or is it just me?The file formats in question for this service is PSD, TIFF, JPG and PNG.Hope somebody in the forum is able to help :-)Regards,Morten

I am interested in putting together a report for Program Performance that has a 7-day and 30-day lookback. I don't think there is a way in the current standard reporting, but I would like to be able to set up a report that shows program performance on a specified timeframe rather than "All Time."Does anyone have any ideas on how they have achieved this type of reporting in their instance? Would we need to extract this data via API or is there another way to do this? If so, any resources would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone,Does anyone know if there is a limitation to that amount of values, that you are able to have in a multible value attribute in AEM Assets?E.g. is it possible to have 1.000 values in the same attribute if that is what you wish? (just to mention something extreme)Regards,Morten

Hi has anyone created global controls for A/B testing and personalisation programs? And how did you do it? I was  thinking of using AAM and the Audience Lab feature to create some broad,  mutually exclusive audiences with a control segment with say 10% allocation. Then mapping the treatment segments only to Target for usage in  A/B test audiences.Thoughts?CheersRichard

I have this bizarre behaviour when using event.identifier in a data element. Background: I have several Direct Calls that actually perform the same action, but set a different s.events. So instead of creating one rule per Direct Call, I created one single rule and put all my Direct Calls in the rule’s EventsThen I created a data element (storage duration = None) to use a switch-case to map the Direct Calls’ event.identifier to the appropriate s.eventswitch (event.identifier) {  case 'foo':    return 'event100';  case 'bar':    return 'event200':  // etc}Now, this is where the strangeness comes in:In my rule’s Adobe Analytics action:If I use my data element with an eVar, i.e. as %data element name%, then my s.event gets set properly. (I know I’m not supposed to set an s.event in an eVar, but this is for troubleshooting.)BUT if I use my data element in the AA’s custom code, i.e. s.events = _satellite.getVar('data element name'), then I get the data element’s default value! This is because

en-us is the blueprint for en-ca & en-gb having 'push on modify' rollout config. And within en-us we have another blueprint, say internal blueprint, which has 3000 live-copy pages. Now the problem is when the author tries to rollout a component from the internal blueprint to all 3000 pages from classic UI the process is being stalled(with red lights). Any idea what is causing the issue?AEM version : 6.3.2

Hi,Can any one help me in below use case.I am trying to send an XML from an API to workbench via a REST call but the value is going as Empty or Blank. Whereas the same is working when I try to send a string.

I am using bouncycastle dependencies for PGP Encryption. Exception in the error log:To resolve following error, I did the following:1. Update Security provider in java.security file.2. Add bcprov jar in jre/etc folder.I tried updating the sling.properties but it did not resolve the issue.Do we need to do same for Production and other lower environments? OR is there any other way?

As per [Adobe | Announcement] Oracle JDK support for AEM We are required to download the Java SE 11 SDK from the Adobe site rather than Oracle. The link provided in the Announcement is http://www.adobeaemcloud.com/ but when I login with my Adobe ID I am unable to use any of the features of the site or access anything to download the Java files.I receive a message saying "You will be receiving an email shortly from Adobe with a link to login with your Adobe ID credentials." but no email has appeared.Am I missing something? IS there someone I can contact to provide access to the correct Java files for use with AEM?Thanks
