Hi,We are just moving from AEM 6.3.0 to AEM 6.5, I am excited to Learn new challenges.Problem I am facing is : Suppose we have huge number of pages with static template, now we have to move all the pages to Editable,Can anyone please suggest me the best approach. I have gone through the AEM Modernization https://expleague.azureedge.net/labs/aem-intro/index.html and got to know how to create Editable templates and how to apply policies. But Since we have to move our pages from static to Editable what is the best approach, Thanks  @kautuk_sahni @arunpatidar

I have a use case where the Primary Identity Namespace is a unique ID representing a customer's account. However a customer can have multiple accounts, all with the same email address associated to them, and as a result there are multiple profiles with the same email account. When a customer opts out of a subscription, or unsubscribes entirely, how can I update that new status for all profiles with that email address? If I identify the email field as an identity would that carry the updates across while still maintaining the unique profiles for each customer's unique account ID?

Hi All, We are exploring HTML5 forms to be able to complete and submit the forms from Mobile devices. I had few questions related to this and would greatly appreciate if anyone already working with HTML5 forms could provide more insights. 1. What is the best way to deliver/serve these HTML5 forms, should we build a Forms Portal (using Search and Lister Component) then configure it show all XDP templates uploaded to /content/dam/formsanddocuments ? OR Expose a REST endpoint (http://aempublisher.corp:4503/content/xfaforms/profiles/default.html?contentRoot=crx:///content/dam/formsanddocuments&template=test.xdp)With the API approach, I am required to tweak the paths to Client libraries as without those the form is not rendered correctly. Example the below paths,/etc.clientlibs/fd/xfaforms/clientlibs/profile.js/etc.clientlibs/clientlibs/granite/jquery/granite/csrf.js/etc.clientlibs/fd/xfaforms/clientlibs/I18N/en_US.js/etc.clientlibs/fd/xfaforms/clientlibs/profile.css I wa

We recently started experiencing an issue where we cannot add groups to view collections and wondered if anyone else is seeing the same thing?

Hi Team,I have a Data Feeds Job which is moving hourly to SFTP server & from there to a Data Lake.We are seeing the data land as a string but in unicode format like below, is there any config on your end that would make this a regular string?"\u0006\u001b58\u001dH4;5;x{HJ0aQO-\u0002n\u001e'=s\u0016\u0014ղ*7ӥV\u001bJ\u0019,¯h?If not, Is there any alternative we can use to make data in regular string. Thanks!

Hello Everyone,I am referring the B2B : Account profile UI guide  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-platform/rtcdp/account/account-profile-ui-guide.html?lang=enFor 'People Tab' it is  mentioned that "The People tab displays a list of up to 25 people associated with the account. For accounts with more than 25 associated people, the system shows a random sampling of 25 records."I want to know if there is a way (any API) to view a complete list of people associated to the account in the profile store.Query services I can see all the associated people, but that is the data lake view.

I have found that when I use the 'cached' remote offer the content NEVER shows up. This is very limiting as this is what we have use to structure our CMS integration. I can see that all network calls are going through and there are no errors but the content just never shows up. The same content will show up if I use a dynamic link but due to the structure of our product we cant always do that. I am wondering if there is any support to see why a remote offer is failing to get the data.

Hello, My organisation has demised SMTP auth protocols for sending emails using AEM Forms. They ask to use Graph API endpoint instead of smtp. Is this possible? Thanks

Hello,   I am an admin for our Adobe Experience Platform product (in every product profile), however I am unable to import a CSV audience via workflows. The alert says that I need permissions to view-segments, manage-segments, view-sources, manage-sources, view-datasets, and manage-datasets. Based on other information in the Experience league those permissions are created and assigned within the AEP under and admin section called permissions. As you can see from my screen shot that option is not available. Am I doing something incorrectly or should I be looking in a different area?

Hi - I'd like to implement a flow for event approvals that looks like this:Person registers via a form and sees thank you message that approval is pendingAlert goes to approver with a link to click to approve or declineEmail is then triggered to the person who registered, confirming or declining their attendanceI can't figure out how to trigger the email send to the person who registered. Would a webhook be able to do this?

This morning I have received 3x Workfront notifications via email: A comment on a proof (I am tagged)A new proof being uploaded (I am a Reviewer/ Approver)A comment on the Updates tab of a project (I am tagged)In the Slack app I only received one: A comment on a proof (I am tagged)I have noticed that not all notifications come through to Slack, despite me having all the notification types checked in the app settings.Based on An update is made to a task, issue or project you are subscribed to and Someone includes you on a directed update shouldn't I at least have received a Slack notification for the comment on the Updates tab?

Hi, is there any query in query service to extract the metadata of the audience (e.g. ID, name , attributes and condition)?I checked but to no avail.

Hi everyone,I'm setting up fields to capture UTM parameters and sync to SFDC, much like this post. My SFDC admin just created the fields in our SF instance, and created them as text fields with a max of 255 characters which is how our parent company has them set up on their SF. The fields appearing successfully in Marketo as text fields - however, this post from 2014 recommends that these be set up as string instead of text. Which is the correct field type, string or text? Can I change the Marketo field type to string without changing the SFDC field type?

Hi, I have a dropdown menu with the following html. <div class="cmp-dropdown cmp-form-options__field cmp-form-options__field--checkbox" name="persona" id="form-options-abc"><button id="persona-dropdown" class="cmp-dropdown__button show">lunch</button><div id="form-options-abc" class="dropdown-text"><ul><li data-value="bft" class="">breakfast</li><li data-value="lunch" class="">lunch</li><li data-value="tea" class="active">tea</li><li data-value="dinner">dinner</li></ul></div> I've used click to identify the interaction : .cmp-dropdown__buttonand also tried using .dropdown-text ul li.active to test.The issue is the text fires when i click on the dropdown but not on the selected text in the dropdown.Can you please advise? Thanks.

I have an event that people can register for, but only a number of people can register for each session. Once a session becomes full, I'd like to update the selector... does it make sense to just remove it? My concern with deleting it was there would be a jump from session 5 to session 7, for example. Or, am I able to keep it but make it not selectable? For now, I changed the wording... but technically people can still select it and submit. And, what is best practice? I am sure this has been done before! Thanks!

I'm using the following curl command to make changes into the content fragment through curl. curl -i -X PATCH \ 'https://{bucket}.adobeaemcloud.com/adobe/sites/cf/fragments/{fragmentId}' \ -H 'Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_JWT_HERE>' \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json-patch+json' \ -H 'If-Match: string' \ -d '{ "op": "add", "path": " ", "value": "Doe" }' "according to the Sites API. However I'm confused regarding the command as I do not know what value do I put in path if my content fragment is at location /content/dam/wknd-shared/en/where name of the content fragment is custom-author and I want to add "doe" in the property Last Name (lastName in content fragment model) assuming it is blank before. the final output should be as follows. Please guide me on how to do the same.

Hello, I have a question, I’m currently testing sling:alias because I need to replace some URLs. My question is, when using sling:alias, will the resource resolver automatically return only the paths with the alias? Or will the original path still be valid? What I ultimately need is, if my original path is /content/testing and my alias is /content/testing-alias, I want /content/testing to return a 404 when entering the URL, and only be accessible through /content/testing-alias. I'm asking because someone told me that the normal behavior of the resource resolver is to always return the path with the alias and not the original path, so I’m not sure if that’s true, or if I have an older version that prevents me from seeing this behavior.

Retrieve the date of the first timeline entry for a page in AEM code base and display it with other details when author selects the page. Or store first timeline entry date inside jcr:content with other page details

I have a TIFF file with a clipping path and a dynamic image preset to resize and produce a TIFF file. I have uploaded the TIFF file to AEM, But when I download the dynamic image preset of that file it no longer has the clipping path in the metadata. Does the dynamic media not preserve clipping path information? And is there any way to have it preserve the path when generated?

Hello,   We have encountered a few images where agencies have added metadata like clipping paths, and the name of the clipping path is visible in the metadata when accessed using ExifTool. However, this information is not being extracted by the DAM Update Asset workflow and added to the metadata node.   Are there specific rules that determine which types of metadata can be extracted? For metadata that does not meet these rules, what is the recommended approach to extract and include such metadata?

Hi there, I’m currently creating a few offers for our client and wanted to clarify the difference between Rules and Audience. If you could explain the key differences with some examples, particularly highlighting situations where one would be more appropriate than the other, it would be really helpful. Looking forward to your insights!
