Hi All      So we have a scenario where few autogenerated mails are getting blocked by the end users server. So basically my question is , is there a way we can receive a delivery failure message from the server ? I am using MessageGatewayService to send mails from AEM . TIA Veena

Anyone having trouble with their share buttons? I feel like I have tested all these before and they worked, and now I'm seeing "This site can’t be reachedsocial.mrk.to’s server DNS address could not be found."Is this an issue on my end or Marketo's?Thanks in advance.

Hi all,I have a fresh AEM 6.3 installation and have been working with package manager. I took an existing AEM site and created a package from it on another build location. I didnt take anything from the system files, mostly just /apps/[sitename], /content/[sitename], /content/dam/[sitename] /etc/acs-commons/I installed the package on my fresh build and then AEM crashed. I got several of these messages on the package manager screen. The logfile has a bunch of stuff in it as well, mostly errors that they can't find an email for my username (bf), which would make sense since I did not add an email and things such as warnings that I need to allow a certain mime type when importing a file. The package says it installed correctly,  but now there is a httperror 500 when AEM tries to start. The package says it installed correctly, but when trying to do anything in AEM this message appears. The log file details thisIt looks like it is trying to authenticate user 'Admin' and then gets a conn

I'm having issues with an RTE component in Touch UI. In dialog view, whenever I click outside of the text area, the entire field becomes read-only and I am unable to edit anything. The only way to edit the text is to close out of the dialog and go back in. The same thing happens when I click the Source Edit button (meaning I am completely unable to ever edit the HTML source; it becomes read-only as soon as I click the button). In in-place editing, a similar thing happens where, when I click Source Edit, it just saves the component and closes out of the full-screen view.Is this a known issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello!I'm using the Marketo Rest API to get individual fields for each form for an application I'm working on.  I'm able to get the metadata for each field by form ID but the results don't include default values.  Any idea how to get this information through the API?Right now I'm querying the form using "/rest/asset/v1/form/{formId}.json" and querying the fields using "/rest/asset/v1/form/{formId}/fields.json".

Hi Analytics Community!I was wondering if someone could help me with my product name report. I am getting a lot of product IDs that aren't populating their product names. I'm thinking it has something to do with the s.productName variable not pulling any data, however it might be that we do not have product names assigned so that the variable can pull from it.I've attached the screenshot here. Any help is greatly appreciated.Stomp Show Tickets in New York at Broadway.Showtickets.com Thanks!

hi,I am facing permissions issue with AEM 6.3. The content-authors are not able to have access /content  folders due to access issue. We are not able to edit any pages without Administrators access. Is this the issue with the AEM jar ? Many Thanks,Samiksha AnvekarBMC Corp

We have a small site with approximately 300 pages.  We need country-specific content for only about 15-20 of those pages.  We are considering using MSM to create country sites and wanted to get community input on the best approach.  Would live copy with synchronization or blueprint with rollout make the most sense?  How can we automatically roll out the copy/children pages when we publish a change to a parent page without having them all go through workflow?  We only want children pages to go through workflow if the content does not match the parent.  Thanks in advance for any tips.

Hi,I would like to attend the upcoming webinars related to AAM / Analytics. Please let me know where can I subscribe.Good day,

Hi All,Need your expert advice here, we are planning to use 'page impressions' and 'content insight' features of AEM and we are looking into options to achieve the same.We are going through the documentation and understood that SiteCatalyst Framework can be used for the above purpose, but also it is mentioned that sitecatalyst framework will send tracking data to analytics, which we do not want as we are using DTM for that purpose. Can you please advice what are the options we have just to import analytics data to AEM but not sending data to analytics back (as we are using DTM to send data to analytics)? My understanding of Sitecatalyst framework is that it will send data to analytics as well, which we want to avoid.Ideally, we want only communication(data import) from Analytics to AEM and not from AEM to Analytics.Thank you,Veera

Is there any way to configure/turn off Marketo's heavy-handed HTML validation? We use email scripts and my.tokens to generate a dynamic URL in our emails. The token's output is a full anchor tag (and only the anchor tag), i.e.: <a href="our.dynamic.url?ourparams=here">In our email template, the code looks something like this:{{my.dynamic_url}}Hyperlinked element</a>The result is that Marketo's editor strips out the close "</a>" and essentially breaks the template. And there seems to be no way to keep that closing anchor tag from being stripped out.I feel like the top suggestion will be to modify script token to output the entire anchor tag + linked element + close anchor tag. But I don't think that's a workaround that scales well. For cases where including the linked element is too cumbersome for the template, or in cases where we'd want the linked element to be dynamic as well.

We have an authenticated page that returns a json with the different types of accounts a client has with us.  I want to use Target to present an offer based on the account type.  Is there a way to make Target to be aware of the values returned in this json file?  I'd prefer not to use Customer Attributes.  Will profile scripts work? We are brand new on Target Standard using at.js.

This week I had a lead into my system using a Gmail address but quite a bit of information (registered for my upcoming event). I got a notification saying there was a sync error: "Failed: DUPLICATES_DETECTED: Use one of these records?"I looked for a dupe by email, but couldn't find it. Eventually I realized there was a duplicate of this lead...under a completely different email address (his work email address).I opened a ticket with Marketo asking how Marketo was able to identify the lead using fuzzy logic, but they responded that Salesforce did this and rejected the sync! My CRM guy said a new release came out from SFDC and it might be related to that. Has anyone else seen this??

My website is not caching any file in the dispatcher, even though all permissions seem to be OK.I cleared the bare docroot folder: /opt/aem/dispatcher/docroot/ to be on the safe side, but no affect. The dispatcher and Error logs look like below. Not sure why the 'permission denied' error is there in disp logs. We were recently notified by our security team that they are not allowing any email sent by third-party providers (like Marketo) to authenticate as our primary domain (avanade.com) - to mitigate against any spoofing, phishing attempts, Marketo getting hacked, etc.  Instead, we need create a subdomain - like "marketing.avanade.com" when configuring SPF/DKIM/DMARC.  This is also in alignment with our parent company, Accenture (and Microsoft).  I just wanted to get some thoughts from the experts in the community around this topic (e.g., @Sanford Whiteman) before I give the go-ahead to proceed with this.  I guess what's most concerning is when we use tokens - like "sales owner email" to populate the FROM and REPLY-TO fields of an email.  We will constantly need to ask IT to map any new email addresses to one that has this new sub-domain.Interested to hear what others have to say about this - especially those that use this approach today.  Anything we need to be aware of, gotchas, etc.?

Hi all,I've started recently to use Adobe Analytics with DTM, and I just implemented the Time Parting  3.4 plug-in. Right now I have the time & day of the week being collect into evars, but the time is at minute level (example: 11:25). I would like to capture these value in buckets of 30 minutes or 1 hour. I think there are two ways of doing this, correct? By using classifications or by configure the plugin it self. Can someone please share how to achieve this? Thanks.Carlos

Hi thereCan I ask what implications does it have when you are NOT sending deliveries from the standard recipient table, but instead from a table that is 1:1 linked to the nms:recipient table?Any particular impact on reporting or anything else that needs to be taken into account? Or not really any implications?I'm still in the middle of designing table structure so any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hello All,I have been looking into AEM forms functionality as a potential option for us to use AEM forms to be designed in Author environment and publish them. (However not looking to utilize publish side submit functionalities yet, allowing users to download forms directly)The desire is to generate a pdf format of the form that is finalized in Author and actually publish the pdf form for users to download meanwhile retaining the form filling capabilities. Can this be done while being in Author environment?
