Just got back from the Summit where I took the certification exam and failed.  I took the practice exam that was distributed prior to the summit and aced it. Apparently those questions weren't on the real exam and the study material that was sent out didn't cover the stuff on the exam.(Apparently I wasn't the only one. I talked to about 30 people who failed and 3 that passed. One guy had been certified for the past 3 years and failed.)I know that you're allowing us to retake it for free in 2 weeks which is great because my company had to spend money on this and my failing is not going to sit well with my manager. Can you distribute a study guide that covers what is on this year's exam? Finally, why was the test so difficult?  It really required a photographic memory.  The questions asked were not questions I would say show expertise.  My favorite example is the question that asks the text on the button to add a new user: "Invite New User" or "Invite User" or "Add

Hoping someone may have an explanation as to why an HTML email would display question marks instead of the text in an email. Kindly reference the attached image.

Hi All,We are using AEM 6.2 communities Feature pack FP2. I am trying to extend some of communities components(activitystream, comments)I was able to extend them, but both of these components retrive some of user information (avatar image, name etc).We are storing the profile images of user at different place, so I want to change the logic of pulling the avatar image for these components. What is the best way to do that so I just need to extend/override this logic at one place and that become available for all communities components we are usingI tried extending the "AbstractUser" class and bind it to "social/commons/components/author" resourceType in Factory, but that is not getting called. Please suggest the best way to implement this. Thanks

In AEM 6 upgrade document, I could able to see the information related to migeating to mongodb. Kindly confirm me that AEM 6 need mongo db only or will it work with Oracle DB also? As AEM 5.x is working with Oracle DB.

We have global scoring campaigns in place, but have noticed a lot of people use scoring tokens.  I understand the concept of using tokens at the program level, but cannot locate how to set these up from start to finish.  I know how to add them in to the My Tokens tab of the program...but how do I change score value -> would it be adding in a smart campaign?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I would like to create lead funnels by my customer behaviors. Ideally, if Marketo had an automated tool that already maps my contacts and leads by their behavior - that would be very useful and time efficient. Does anyone know if such a feature exists already? Thanks!

Hello everyone! Would like a bit of clarity around combining batch campaigns and trigger campaigns. Right now I have an automated batch campaign that sends an email in a specified date range.Batch Campaign I also have a trigger campaign that removes people from the batch campaign if there is a data value change on a custom SFDC object.Trigger Campaign Should these two campaigns be combined or does it make sense to keep them separate? Not sure what the implications are for either approach. The ultimate goal is for the process to be fully automated with recipients automatically being removed from the email flow if their data value changes. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi,I'm using AEM 6.1 and I'm using OOTB Text and Image component to upload & crop images. When I crop the image, I get imageCrop properties populated with x,y,width, height values. This crop values differs with my local and DEV environment. I used the same image with same cropping in my local and in my DEV environment. With little more debugging, I found the value differs only when I crop images of width and height which exceeds 1000px (say 1920x1200). I read the documentation for html5smartimage and it says "the value depends on the serverside implementation"What does the serverside implementation refers to? And why do I see a difference in values being stored in my local and DEV (with same image and same cropping applied)? https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/ref/widgets-api/index.html?class=CQ.html5.form.SmartImagecropParameter : StringName of the form field used for posting the cropping rect; use null or a zero-length String if the cropping tool should be disabled; the value d

Hi Marketo Family, How does your company handle the check and balance process before you send out an email?

We are trying to sync our Marketo instance with SFDC. There is a Standard object in SFDC as "Assets". While it is not a standard field in Marketo. I wanted to know if we can create a Custom object in Marketo as "Account" and then sync the details. Thanks

Hello Community, Does anyone have any experience with creating hidden fields on a Marketo form that do not take up any space on the form HTML? Right now, when I create a hidden field, it is hidden, but is still producing a  div.mktoFormRow which is pushing the div.mktoButtonRow down 10px per field. Is there someway to prevent this default wrapping? Or to just insert the hidden field before the end of the form?  Thank you in advance!

Hi all, I'm wondering what the most performant way to include client-side clientlibs is.Example: Assume you have to develop a couple of components each including their own client-side JavaScript, like a Google Map component and a carousel component (e.g. Slick) . As far as I can see, there are a couple of options:Create a postloaded clientlib category which includes all the client-side logic and call it in HTL it in every page footer. +: There is only one instance of the client-side script-: Pages not who don't need Google Maps or Slick also load the libraries, which are not needed and often take time initializing. Embed the HTL clientlib call in the component to include the clientlibs+: Clear separation of client-side code per component -: The clientlib will be included for every component, so if you have 3 carousels, the clientlib will be added and executed 3 times, not utilizing clientlibs to their maximum potential.-: Dependencies on frameworks (like jQuery) are not fulfilled since

Hi,For the assets references in the page, we have links as /content/dam/xx/abc.png . Is it possible not to expose the internal path of the asset (/content/dam) , so that we can have a link as /xx/abc.png in the page which is resolved to the actual path internally and displays the asset properly over dispatcher and publisher?Sly , there is a need of not to expose the path -  /etc/designs for clientlibs in the browser but should internally resolve and renders the clientlibs without the /etc/design path. How do we achieve it and do we need to do something in dispatcher as well?Regards

Hi there, i got a question on the theme editor, in there i see Form -> Title, see pic attached highlighted in yellow. After i make changes, e.g. change font weight , change type of fontthen i want to see the changes on my adaptive form, but there is no such component call Form Title. How then can i see the theme taking effect on my form? Note that i have first created my own form template, and set the template to use my custom theme, then finally i create an adaptive form based on the form template.

How are you attributing sales development rep generated leads? In our org, SDR's report into marketing, and they prospect with a data partner that comes out of the marketing budget. And then we have SDR nurturing campaigns that marketing crafted. How are you doing lead source, and then ROI reporting? Thanks!

Hi! We connected Marketo and Google Adwords through launchpoint services. A few questions below regarding best practices...Question 1: When setting up "New Conversions" for Adwords, what conversion points (and how many) do you recommend and which stages do you map them to? Example:Marketo Revenue Stages mapped >> to Adwords conversionsMCL >> Net new leadMEL >> Known leadMQL >> Marketing qualifiedSAL >> Sales acceptedSQL >> Sales qualifiedCustomer >> New customerCustomer Nurture >> Existing customerQuestion 2: Is it best practice to map to stages after someone becomes a customer? (MQC, SAC, SQC, WON UPSELL) Question 3: How would existing and net new customer contacts be tracked in Adwords conversions?Example: Someone clicks through our paid ads as a net new lead. Our inside sales associate review new lead because it was flagged as someone on our Named Account list. We're actually already working with this Named Account, so the new lead is

Hi All,We are upgrading from CQ5.6.1 to AEM 6.2 (Service Pack 2 and Communities Feature Pack2).As part of the upgrade project we have extended some OOB components (Comments, ActivityStreams), these components renders fine in Dispatcher which is not a secure url (HTTP request), but they gave error on VIP (HTTPS URL)In Dispatcher the below calls for social components/services/social/getLoggedInUser?moderatorCheck=/content/testpage/jcr:content/firstColumn/custom_comment&h=/home/users/t/testuser1getting redirected to the".html" to appended to the URL/services/social/getLoggedInUser.html?moderatorCheck=/content/testpage/jcr:content/firstColumn/custom_comment&h=/home/users/t/testuser1After we allowed /services/social/getLoggedInUser.html in dispatcher it started working fine in dispatcher but throwing error in VIPThe URL was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.The first request goes

Can we hide a template like components? I know in component we say componentGroup hidden. Is that possible in with a template? The reason I am asking is I have an abstract template that will not be used to create pages explicitly. Instead other templates will use it to extend.

Hi I am not able to import boolean data into Adobe data model. I am using a targeting workflow with two steps:-Data Loading: import of the file with different columns-Data Update: insert and update the data into the data modelThe problem is that I can not choose "boolean" as data type in the first step.I tried to select "integer" as data type in step 1 for that field and then to create a function "to boolean" in the second step for that field. It is not working either.Has someone a suggestion regarding this?Thank you,Giovanna
