When I run a campaign that does not include a mailing (progression status update for example) and the schedule page shows members are 'blocked from mailing' I would like to understand if they are also blocked from the campaign flow and if so, why?
Now in the tab "Marketing Activities" can not create a new email.It would be great if could create a new email in the tab "Marketing Activities".
Currently it is an annoying extra workflow step to change the settings on every new email we send out to "Include View as a Webpage." I would like to be able to make this a default either system-wide or on the Template level. As is, I have to remind my company over and over again to include this, as it is necessary on 9 out of 10 emails we send, and a lot of time is wasted going back to revise. Please help!
Would be great to drag and drop existing lists into programs which we could than associate members to a specific status instead of having to inport the members from a list or run a smart campaign to do so.
Be great to change status for members as they progress through the program, but doesn't change the number from step to step.For example at an event, they are invited, attend, so forth. When the status changes from invite to attend, the invite number decreases by that number.To be able to see how many were overall invited than attended and so froth without having to do the math would be convenient.
From our experience a bigger problem is missing emails!!Let's create a trigger campaign that sends a alert email to lead owner or telesales team each time and email hardbounces. This process can be added to any program that sends email – It will allow you to detect hard bounces when a campaign runs and send automated alerts to telesales or lead owner with lead information for email re-qualification. When using campaign flow steps such as "Was sent email," it would be great to be able to choose multiple at one time, without having to search for the email you are looking for, select, add, and then start over. Adding the functionality to use 'ctrl' to select multiple emails and add them all at the same time would be a huge time saver!
I would love to have the ability to move the forward to a friend box that pops up after you have clicked on the link. It covers up our headers right now so we have to make sure we include special coding when we create our templates to account for this. I'd love to be able to specificy that I want the box to pop up to the side of the email that they see. This way they can see exactly what they are forwarding without any of the form fields getting in the way.
Can you track links with Marketo when the asset promoted is not hosted in Marketo? Ex. promote a video on Twitter that is hosted in YouTube

Every email sent by Marketo takes a small SPAM score hit because the <img src="invisible.gif" /> does not have an alt tag. There should at least be a place in the administration interface to set a default value.
It would be awesome if Marketo Smart Campaigns could be triggered by calling a webhook into Marketo.Essentially, just going to a URL with the right paramters could trigger an entire campaign.For example: A lead owner gets an alert that a lead has reached a certain lead score. At the bottom of the email, there is a list of functions that the lead owner might be able to do: pause marketing, start the lead on nurturing, or flag the lead for deletion. I'm looking at Monthly reporting, and I'd like to pull a report of everyone who reached a particular status in a program of a certain channel. Ie Channel=Webinar & Status=Attended.This prevents me from having to find all webinars which happened in the past month to report on each individually.

I think it would be beneficial to have the ability to subscribe to a smart list and email the results on daily basis. For example I have a partner who imports a list into the system 3 times a week, and currently there is a campaign set up to send a regional rep the lead info for anyone in there region, the problem is it sends an email for each new lead, it would be great to send one batch email that includes all the leads, either in a tabular format or a csv as an attachment.
A trigger that could be used for an initial data value input. This would be valuable for things like demographic scoring, so that you could do something like: Initial Data Value Job Title is = CEO Right now you need to use a filter for something like this, and if your ideal prospect meets the lead scoring criteria to get passed over to sales, you would have to wait a day for it to happen.
We have been highly utlizing the calendar file (.ics.) tokens in our emails. It helps us to get a feel for how many people are interested in a conference session for instance, without having them register for a specific session. I would love to see the capability to add these same token files to a landing page. Sometimes you make mistakes using the app like mistakenly checking someone in. Would be handy to be able to undo actions performed in the app.
Many Marketo instances sync custom objects from SFDC to Marketo and use the fields on these objects as constraints in smart lists and smart campaigns. When a new field is created in SFDC or made visible to the Marketo sync user at a time later than when the object was initially enabled then these new fields must be manually added.However, the Edit visible fields option is only availble when the custom object is not being used in any smart lists or smart campaigns (Has_custom_object filter/trigger).Depending on how you use custom objects they may play a huge role in your marketing strategy and therefore you may have used them in a significant number of lists/campaigns, potentially well into the double figures.If you need to enable new fields on custom objects currently you have to:1. Make a note of every single campaign using the filter and the exact contraints used within that filter.2. Remove the filter one by one from each list/campaign3. Edit the visible fields in Admin to add your new custom object fields as constraints/triggers4. Add the filters back one by one and make sure that they match exactly the way they were.New custom object fields visible to the sync user should automatically be enabled or the edit visible fields option should always be available.
Emails that have the "View email as a web page" option turned on create a big gap on iPhone's with OS 6.0, hurting the user experience; need to optimize email delivery for a wide range of devices and OS versions now; The ability to move this line to the end of the email would be a plus too!
I'd love the ability to define rules for the Segmentation as a whole, rather than end up with a big default bucket.For example, I'd like to have a Segmentation for Clients by Industry.. Right now, (as far as I can tell) the default would be everyone who is not a client or whose industry is blank. By having some basic rules at the segmentation level, then I can better "chunk" my database, and make the segementations work a lot better. If I could define a rule for the Segmentation as a whole (e.g. everyone in my database who is a Client), it seems like it would work a lot better than having to carve up my entire database every time.

Client was wondering if there was a campaign Lead threshold approval filter within Marketo. For instance, if the campaign reached <5000 leads, it would need Person A for approval before it can get sent out. If the campaign reached >5000 leads, it would need Person B for approval before it can get sent out.
We have a lot of marketers that work with Marketo at our company. Varying from beginner to average usuage. There are only 3 superusers, including me. Saskia and I already have the certification. We would like our internal user group to be more active and more confortable with Marketo in order to leverage its potential. I think it would be a great idea to have different user profiles for the certification, but also for the university. E.g. admin/superuser level and a marketer user level. I would love if all of our marketers (>20) have a 'normal' Marketo user certification or at least proper training. Any ideas and suggestions on this?
