Hello, hoping someone can help me with the right filter criteria.   Let's say I have 5 workspaces (which are basically our multiple Brand names). Now I would like to update the field called "Brand Name" whenever a lead gets created in a specific workspace.  For example: A lead got created in "Chili" workspace through SFDC or API or may be any source type. The field "Brand Name" should be updated to "Chili". When a Lead got created in "Tomato" workspace then the brand name should be updated to "Tomato".  and so on.   Considering all the source types, What filters could be the best fit for this? What all I would need to consider before updating the right Brand name?    Suppose If I use "person is created" and Form name (all the forms from a specific workspace). How about the source type? How come SFDC will know that this lead should flow to Chili workspace and The other should go to the Tomato workspace? What would be that one key word?

Hi,  I am attempting to use the Velocity date scripting to show specific event times based on the month.  Currently the actual month is October (10). Hi I am trying to activate a smart Campaign using Marketo API but getting following error :  Unable to parse the smart list rule condition.   In my smart list, I have "3rd Party Activity is Triggered ". Same SC, I am able to activate via UI but through API it is giving error. Any idea on the issue ?   

Hi all, when creating and sending an email in Marketo, if we enable ' track link' on a link in the email, the link always redirects to our home page, regardless of where the link should go. This happens whether or not the 'Include mkt_tok' option is also selected. If 'track link' is de-selected, the link works fine. Any suggestions? Here is an example of a tracked link that should go to a demo form landing page, but re-directs to our home page:  schedule a demo  

Does anyone have an idea how to resolve the ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED error?    Already did a DNS flush and the error still persist. Is there another way we can load the /js/forms2/js/forms2.min.js This issue is only happening for some users however one of the users is from our web development team. Hello everyone. I am an advanced user of Marketo and I have used it for many situations for over 7 years. This time I am trying to use it for an internal process and I'd like to set up a trigger on an alert email, so the person that receives the alert email can click on an email and then "something happens" / flow starts that actually replies back to the lead that filled a form.   So far trying different ways I have not achieved it. Do you have any ideas how to achieve this? I'm happy to read work arounds.  Thank you, Denisse

We have created reports in Marketo for our bounced leads, but need a way to surface the bounced leads with sales for follow-up by creating a salesforce report. Has anyone done this before or know best practice or where to start?

Has anyone ever experienced receiving Marketo form registration fills, then upon contacting them, they swear they haven't submitted the form, and don't work for the submitted company?   We are running a series of Google PPC adverts on search terms, specific to our high-Tech B2B industry, that land on our Marketo LPs. The call to action is to fill in the form to register for a software evaluation  https://digital.zuken.com/E3_cabling.html#register    Yet we regularly (according to sales who are following up registrations) encounter contacting people who claim to not have submitted our form, dont work for the stated company and have no idea why we are contacting them.   Has anyone else experienced these issues, or have suggestions on how to overcome?

We have noticed a large amount of Bizible Attribution Touchpoints being deleted month-over-month. When investigating in our SFDC instance recycle bin, these were deleted by the Bizible Integration User (used as an API user for the Bizible to SFDC sync) and some were deleted only seconds after being created.    Our team is currently working with the Bizible support engineer team but was wondering if this has happened to any other Bizible users.

Hi everyone,    In emails there are usually modules which are nearly the same but for the change you need two variables to change. Example a module with two columns: Image is aligned right and Text is aligned left.  - or -  Image is aligned left and Text is aligned right.  Basically it would be possible to just tell the module if the Image should be on the left or the right side. But the alignement of the text has to be changed as well. Do you have such cases? Do you always create two modules for this?  Or is there a clever way to ask for just one variable while it is handled in two places differently? Best regardsWolfram

I have created a Master template in Marketo. Earlier, I was able to approve the same.   Now, when I have added the new snippet section then I am not able to approve the draft.  I am getting this error. I removed the same section but still, did not get any success.   Any help would be appreciated!

Our goal is to fill up our sales teams' schedules with meetings, so we ask prospects if they would like to schedule time with one of our reps at that event. Does anyone have any recommendations for a scheduling tool that integrates with Marketo, and, possibly in our forms? I have a form that operates as an interstitial before a member fills out an application. This form allows me to deliver someone to the product they would be interested in applying for. This is all fine and dandy, except the user must return to the same form to check their application status... not the end of the world, but want to streamline it... the thought was using the custom HTML for known visitors. I know this isn't perfect as just because you are known, doesn't mean you've already applied for the product.   My challenge is that when I set up the HTML it gives the options for the button and for the text "not me" to reset. I was playing with it to where I could say "apply" and that would use the "not me" link and the button would allow for the status check... the problem is it feels backward... I would rather the button be "apply" but I can't figure out how to get the button to reload the form like the "not me" text link does. I'm guessing there is some java and coding to fix

I have a situation where we are executing some code on pages that have Marketo forms. This particular piece of code handles a few things. One it takes care of multiple Marketo forms on the same page but it also pushes data, we've designated in our CMS, to the dataLayer along with the form render on a successful submission of the form. Now, this code, which is being executed through Google Tag Manager, currently uses an element visibility trigger. It looks for the mktForm class. When that class is present the code executes. The problem is that this code may execute before we're done retrieving the Marketo form and fully rendering it. This ends up popping an error message. What I am thinking would solve this issue is instead of triggering the code with a element visibility trigger it would be best to wait until the form is fully rendered. This probably needs some JS(or maybe not) to see if this 'fully rendered' condition exists but I not sure how to do this. Any help would be greatly app

We are seeing a bunch of different leads from the same company (50+) "open" and "click" almost every email we send them. This is breaking lead scoring as all leads are being sent to the inside sales team to investigate.Curious if this is something anyone's seen before? We are baffled. Hi everyone,    I like to check the email address for specific domains using velocity/email scripting. But for some reasons it is not working for me. Attempt 1 - Using contains   #set($mail = "wolfram.lotz@xy-c.com") $mail.contains("xy-c.com")   this works fine   #set($mail= "{{lead.Email Address}}") $mail.contains("xy-c.com") $mail   contains is always false but $mail output shows the correct domain   Attempt 1 - Using split (to check later for equal)   #set($mail = "wolfram.lotz@xy-c.com") #set($domain= $mail.split("@")) $domain[1]   This works fine. Domain is shown correct.      #set($mail = "{{lead.Email Address:default=edit me}}") #set($address= $mail.split("@")) $address[0]    This split does not work. Hi All,We currently don't have our SFDC and marketo synced, but someone has come up with this idea and want me to investigate if it will be possible once the 2 are integrated. (If they were synced I'd just test this out)If I created a smart campaign where the trigger is opportunity is updated and flow step is Send Email. Is the email sent to the contact attached to the opportunity object in SFDC?     Thanks so much!!  

I have updated the custom css file on my form but even in preview mode the changes to the custom css is not shown. The draft is already approved and if I create a new draft and edit my custom css I can see my changes in there.    Is it something related to cache ? If so, is there a way to clear cache in Marketo form?   Thanks in advance, Bata
