I recently embeded a Marketo contact us form into our new WordPress site using the native code inside deign studio. I'm trying to make the form submission resolve to a thank you message inside the content block that holds my embeded form code below. Hi there,    We recently did a merge of leads in SFDC and it triggered some campaigns in Marketo. I know that Marketo will compound the score of the lead when merged so I'm looking for a quick solution to fixing these scores without manually looking into each record. This also cause status and lifecycle stages to occur. Is there an easy retrofix for this? We have almost 2000 leads that were merged, so I am hoping for a quick and painless solution if possible! 

This may be the most trivial posting here - ever - but any idea why Marketo stopped halfway with the favicon changeover? Half of my pages now use the Adobe 'A' as the favicon, and the other half use the classic Marketo logo. When you love the open tabs - it gets confusing. Can I fix this myself?

Hi all,This may be a simple fix and I was wondering if someone could help me or lead me in the correct direction to fix this problem.I have created a preference centre for those who wish to opt into a newsletter.I have basically followed this guide : Build an Email Preference or Email Subscription Center in Marketo in 10 Steps Everything seems to be good so far, the problem I am having however is getting the form to link back to the lead when sent through an email.     -I have created a form that is in a landing page.     -I have put that link into the footer and it does not link back to the lead. (Also tried to use tokens instead)     -I have attached a 'hidden' email in the form.       I can see that the email is sent and clicked on but when clicking on the 'Unsubscribe' link and visiting the preference centre, it stops linking back to the lead and instead to just 'Email'I have attached a screenshot

I'm working on setting up an email that I want to send at a date - 45 days.  I only want these to be sent Monday to Friday and want any clients who's date-45 day falls on a weekend to get their email the following Monday.  I'm playing around with approaches and have been looking at two options.  I'm interested to know which of these is preferred or if there is a better way to accomplish this.  Option 1 - Use wait step Option 2 - Use Filter In both cases I was thinking of scheduling a recurring program that will run M-F at a specific time.  Thanks for your help. Hi, I keep getting the error message below when I am trying to create a Zap between Marketo and Zapier. I know for a fact the credentials/login info I'm using is correct but it keeps returning this message to me.    This Zap is to connect Interact (quiz builder app) to our Marketo instance so that whenever somebody takes our quiz it creates a new lead for us in Marketo. The plan is to then put those new leads into a nurture stream.    We have a few Zaps already that we were able to be set up with no problem so the permissions steps shouldn't be an issue.    Any help on how to fix this error message I'm getting would be greatly appreciated.     

Hi Everyone, Hope you all are safe & well! We are actually finding a way to translate GUIDs to user friendly value & I am totally aware that is already in ideas list for many of us. However, I was trying to create custom object and then link with Person/Lead column in database for the GUID. Then use munction to read the value and update the GUID to user friendly value. However, it is not working as it might be the case that munction are not supported to run on Custom fields. Please find below the screen-shots & any help would be appreciated. Hopefully I have created the Custom object in a right way and link it with field in Marketo database that is holding GUID.   Here Job Title (c) is holding GUID value. ##LOOKUP({{lead.Job Title (c)}},'jobDescription_c','gUID','jobDescription','Hey107')## However it is updating the attribute with default value i.e. 'Hey107'. Hello,   I have added a Marketo form to a custom Marketo landing page that was built by an outside development team.    The form uses the Dark Theme and I am applying custom code to modify the button's color and alignment on the form.    The main problem I am having with the form is that the checkbox is not appearing in the form when placed on the landing page.   Please see screenshots below of both the form as it appears on the landing page and the form in preview mode with the dark theme.   Form On LP:   Preview of Form in Marketo with Dark Theme:   I am thinking that the checkbox isn't appearing on the page because no styling is being applied to it, like shadow or borders. But I'm not sure. We are integrating a custom field with our company product dashboard, and pushing information from the dashboard to the Marketo field. I labeled the API Name "Current_product_name" and our team has now let me know that the script is being pushed to "Current_Product_Name". This is kind of a two part question - 1. Does the capitalization matter, and if so, 2. Is there a way to edit this?I've tried to create another field with the capitalized API Name, but Marketo will not allow me to do so because it says that the API Name is already taken. Would love to get some assistance here!

Hi all, I'm trying to create a table where, for the first column, each row is filled with a particular custom object field(credit memo number3, which belongs to the creditmemo3 C.O).  I want to print all entries each contact has for the C.O. I'm using the below code:     <table border="0"> <tr> <td>Credit Memo Number </td> <td> Charity Name</td> </tr> #foreach ( $creditMemoNumber3 in $creditMemo3_cList ) <tr> <td> $creditMemoNumber3</td> <td> ${lead.Company} </td> #end </tr> </table>      However, this is the output that I get for the first column. It correctly identified all entries of this field for the contact, but the output format is not what I wanted:   How can I only display the actual value of the field (in this case, just the numbers, not the name of the field and brackets)?

I am starting to learn more about the unsubscribe behaviour in Markto. We currently have a preference page set up, and I was of the understanding that the attribute unsubscribed isn't being updated correctly (I'm in the process of checking to make sure it is).   I have noticed a contact today with the following in their activity log:   Activity Type 'Unsubscribe Email' Details: Lead unsubscribed from list unsubscribe   they are Unsubscribed = True Unsubscribed Cause = System flow action for 'Unsubscribe Email' triggered   they haven't completed the unsubscribe form so I can't see how they have unsubscribed? The email that they received only contained the link to the preference centre form.   any ideas?   thanks  

Marketo's URL field type is a weird wee beastie. For one thing, it’s not long enough to fit all URLs (you can store decoded URLs to save space). For another, although a URL value must begin with http:// or https:// when validated on a form (indeed, absolute URLs must have a protocol part[1]) including the protocol means a link to the corresponding {{lead.token}} won’t be tracked: <a href="{{lead.token}}">   The latter quirk, of course, is also true of String and Textarea fields, as well as Text {{my.tokens}}. In order to be trackable, tokens used in hrefs must start with the hostname. Then you hard-code the protocol in the email asset or template, outside of the token: <a href="https://{{lead.token}}">   This rule is easy to follow for {{my.tokens}} (as long as you knew it when building your templates). I've gone into Email Performance and get the results of the emails, but was hoping to get which emails were sent to those specific individuals.    It would look something like this in excel.

Hi All,I have a typical question but couldn't find the answer yet.We have a Saas platform connected to Marketo. On this platform, when someone sign up for an account we collect the most important information, including the Company name. During this account creation, the user (Let's say John) gets a User id, and the company (XYZ Ltd) gets a company id. If John invites his colleague (Mike) to use the product, Mike gets a different user id, and but the same company id. John and Mike details sync to Marketo.In Marketo, we have a lot of information about John, but we could sync only Mike's email address, user id and company id. I would like to create a kind of VLOOKUP in Marketo, when a new lead creates in Marketo, and his company id exists in the DB on other lead, let's copy the other lead's company name, and other details. Is that possible somehow? Thank you in advance

I'm working on our implementation of background form submission as described in this Marketo blog post, and suggested to us by their support team. In doing so, we've run into a challenge (which was noted as "not so easy" in this previous forum answer).  We need to submit a checkbox group through a background form submission. I've tried adding multiple checked values one at a time using `addHiddenFields()`...   myMktoForm.addHiddenFields( 'My_Field_Name', 'Checked Value 1' ); myMktoForm.addHiddenFields( 'My_Field_Name', 'Checked Value 2' ); myMktoForm.addHiddenFields( 'My_Field_Name', 'Checked Value 3' );   But when I call `getValues()` I only see the last one...   { My_Field_Name: 'Checked Value 3' }   I've also tried adding them as an array...   myMktoForm.addHiddenFields( 'My_Field_Name', [ 'Checked Value 1', 'Checked Value 2', 'Checked Value 3' );   In that case the values in the array get merged into a comma-separated string...   {

I based out brand email templates on the Sophia newsletter template, however in dark mode the text in the hero section remains gray instead of turning white. See the screenshot below. Does anyone have a suggested css tweak?  

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on link management?? We have links that need updating from send to send and we update them 1 by 1 via our company templates. Is there any work around this that would save us so much time??? 

Our instance currently has a preference page set up to manage the unsubscribes.  When a contact opts out of email comms, a custom field is updated called Marketing Opt In = True/False.  I've tried to research if I need to ensure that the Unsubscribe attribute needs to be updated/managed in Marketo. For example do I need to add a trigger that looks if Marketing Opt In = False that Unsubscribe is True? https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/subscription-center-options-email-program-unsubscribes/m-p/130944#M87822    I have noticed that when we send out an email blast that the unsubscribes are not being recognised in the Summary of the program. Do they need to be added as a member of the Program with a Status from a trigger to collect this information? This is working as expected. The Parent Company Name field gets its value set from a different process and not via the SFDC Synch. SFDC and Marketo Engage both have a Parent Account ID field in the Account Object (Company Object in Marketo). If there is a parent account ID in that field, then the value of that field is automatically populated via a reference to the other Account Record. Since Company in Marketo is mapped to Name (SFDC Account) whenever that value is updated it will be reflected in Marketo. Example: Account ID 1 has a Parent Account ID of 2. They both have records in the same Account table. If the Name is changed of the Parent Account it is automatically reflected in any child accounts as the Parent Account Name is just a reference.

We have a dynamic email created which is segmented based on user language. We have updated the Korean version of the email with Korean text. There are 5 emails. When previewing via segmentation - user language = APJ Korean which is the template we updated for all 5 emails, only email 1 is showing in Korean. Plus, we also set up a smart campaign to test all 5 emails sending to my personal email where we changed my profile country to be south korea and user language to be KO and email 1 is received in Korean language and part of email 2 is, but the remainder are in english. Any ideas?
