Hi there, I'm hoping that someone has been a similar situation-- Our sales team is looking to remove contacts from specific SFDC campaigns that are directly synced with engagement streams. When a salesperson deletes someone from a synced SFDC campaign, is the person completely removed from the engagement stream?   I thought that they would be, but what I'm seeing is that the individual is removed from SFDC, but I have to go in and manually pause them from the engagement stream.   Is this how it's supposed to work? I thought that if someone was deleted from a synced SFDC campaign, they would be removed from the stream.   Thanks so much for your help!Lauren

Quick post today to provide reference on the Touchpoint Position “Pending” that you might see in Buyer Attribution Touchpoint (BAT) reports.   Marketo Measure (fka Bizible) has 4 milestone Touchpoint Positions: First Touch, Lead Creation, Opportunity Creation, and Closed. If you have access to the Custom Attribution Model though, you might have added other Touchpoint Positions such as MQL or Demo Scheduled.   Here comes the curveball… when you’re looking at a Buyer Attribution Touchpoint report, you might also see a Touchpoint position of Pending. Here is what it would look like:   Pending is stamped as the TP Position when the Opportunity is still open because Attribution credit must always add up to 100%. To elaborate further, if you’re using the Full Path Model (22.5% to FT, LC, OC, Closed and the remaining 10% to any middle touches) and the Opportunity is still Open, the 22.5% credit that is allocated to Closed must go somewhere. I have no issues when viewing the form in the author but the forms does not show when viewing published pages.   - In both author and publisher, I have configured the Marketo settings. (in both cases, the settings is stored in this path: /conf/myapp/settings/cloudconfigs/Marketo)- I looked around ACS-commons and found this piece of code: . In author, ${configMgr} is not null while in the publisher, it is null. This seems to be the problem but unsure why this is happening.- I looked at the publisher logs but nothing obvious is showing up.   Any ideas on how to fix?? Thanks

Hi Community,   I'm finally able to set aside some time to get training for the Marketo Certified Expert track and was wondering if there are updated resources available anywhere?   Everything I've seen posted in the Community is a number of years old - the most recent post was from Feb 2020 and the link included in it is broken/no longer active. I think it's the same link as on this page under Marketo University Support - both the MCE Exam Topics and Certified Expert Exam Prep links give 404 errors.   Any direction would be great, and if it's just a case of reading through Marketo's Product Documentation then so be it!   Thanks as always, Michelle 😊

Hello again Marketing Nation!   Here comes yet another question regarding integrating Marketo with Microsoft Dynamics.   In the Marketo docs it says:"If you have Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) enabled for your Dynamics Sync, you must disable it in order for Dynamics to properly sync with Marketo.[...]"- https://docs.marketo.com/pages/releaseview.action?pageId=3571822So, in order for the sync to work, one must disable MFA.   But does this mean that MFA needs to be disabled forever? Or is it OK to re-enable MFA after the initial sync?   Thanks for the help in advance!   Best,ernie

Hi! We are creating a new website and I'm having some trouble with the downloads / resources section. When a visitor fills in a form, they are redirected to the PDF file which is an external URL. This completely closes our website. I do not want this behavior since I want the visitor to stay on our website. What I was thinking is once a visitor submits a form, the PDF opens in a separate tab, but then there's no thank you message after clicking on submit. What's the best way to manage this?

Here is the process to move a program which has members to a new workspace. The solution retains program membership, the membership date, program status, the success date, acquisition and acquisition date.In this example we are moving a program from the 'Default' to the the 'NAM' workspace.Step 1 - Remove all associations to the program and assets inside the program from smart lists and smart campaigns outside of the program. You will not be able to move the program if it or any assets inside of it are being used. Also, you won't be able to move the program if any assets inside of it are referencing items outside the program like static and smart lists, smart campaigns etc.Step 2 - Make sure you aren't referencing a form in the design studio. Step 3 - Make sure any assets used in the program are referencing templates or snippets which are in a shared folder.  Step 4 - Create a new 'Temporary' lead partition and associate it to the 'Default' workspace which contains the program you want

Has anyone had any luck connecting to Databox or similar product to visualize real time data in Marketo? I would like to produce high level reports for Management. Google data studio requires a connection, but I am hearing that does not work well. Databox's connection to Marketo is not as expected, you have to choose one campaign at a time and it is difficult to know what you are looking at. Please share what has worked for you.     

Hi, in an email an operational email is triggered when receiver clicks on the CTA. This works fine for some users > they receive this email once when clicked one time on the CTA. But in some cases the receiver clicks also only one time on the CTA and then the operational email is send out 4 times (we have tested this with person can run workflow only once and with every time).   Weired thing is that it works fine with some users and some users not!   Had anyone else this behavior?   Thanks, Andreas

Hell Marketo! In the account record in our SFDC instance, we have two fields "Account Owner" and "Assigned SDR" whose values are exactly what they indicate, the sales rep/account owner and the SDR assigned to that account. I want to set up a smart campaign where the Account Owner and Assigned SDR are alerted when a contact attached to the account takes an action or engages with marketing programs (like registered for event, filled out form, downloaded content etc).   Has anyone ever tried to do this? I tried this as a flow step in my test and it was not working.  Any insight, anyone?  

Hi team, we are trying to understand marketo activities. We have a couple of observations which we'd like to discuss.   We are interested in observing the changes happening to a lead L that belongs to a program P.There were no type 104(change_status_in_progression) activities recorded for L that had `acquired_by` value as `true`.When viewing program P’s lead L in the marketo UI we could see that the value of `acquired_by` was `false`.So can the `acquired_by` value of lead L in program P change without a type 104 activity being generated?     We have observed that we got a 104 type activity containing the ‘New Status’ as ‘Member’ today. We expected the `membership_date` to update to today’s date accordingly. On the contrary the value displayed in marketo UI contained a `membership_date` value which was 13 days older. Why is there an activity but no corresponding change in that lead’s membership_date? Are the activity information not indicative of the true value in th

I have a form set up with a hidden field to capture the utm_campaign on the referral link and write it to the Person Source. If its not present, it defaults to Gated Content. Here's how I have it set up:    I'm trying to test it with some ads we're running. I'm setting up the Nurture with Nested programs for the first time and would really appreciate community's help on the topic.Here's what's given: Engagement Program 1 (EP1 for future reference) contains 7 nested default email programs with emails and smart campaigns (let’s call them NP1, NP 2 etc for future reference). Each of the Nested programs contains email asset and the following smart campaigns (you can see them on the image too):       1. When editing the text-only version of my finished email, I am unable to send myself a sample nor approve the email for send-out. The error that pops up states there's a "velocity script error." I've removed any $coding from the text-only version, but this does nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?
