Hi all,   We would like to create into Marketo a subscription center for updates of our company services but we would like the sending of the emails that notify the subscribers for new updates to be an automated process. Is this possible into Marketo? What integrations/sync are needed to be done? How the emails will be triggered?   Here are more clarifications: – Create a Marketo Subscription Center (a form, landing page, lists). Each subscriber could choose which services he would like to receive emails with information for new updates. He or she could subscribe to one or many services.  – The subscriber will be into a special "lists" for each service – When an update for a particular service is available, something should trigger the new email to be sent to the contacts on the specific list   Example: Someone subscribed to receive an email notification for 3 services: A, B, and C. There is a new update for service A. The user should receive an email notifying

I set up a program that sends two emails 1 hour and 24 hours from visit if they don't complete the form on the page.  I test below and received the 1 hour email 3 times.  I did visit the page 3 times so I am assuming there is a step missing in either the smart list of flow. Any advice? Thanks!

We have an email that will be sent to interested people upon form completion.  How do we set the campaign to specify which email goes to a specific role/segment?  We have four emails based on the interest.

How can I integrate Marketo and Google Ads so that Marketo sends Google Ads offline conversions when a specific type of opportunity is created when I don't have a stage for that opportunity type in Revenue Model?    We currently have Salesforce (SF) and Google Ads (GA) integrated so that SF tells GA when people result in an opportunity via captured gclid values. However, we have a number of different opportunity types that are unequal in value... let's call them vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.    Current SF-> GA integration tells GA about any opportunity. Our objective, though, is to generate chocolate opportunities, specifically. Therefore I want to tell GA when chocolate opportunities are generated so that we can optimize our GA campaigns for that outcome.    Context: Our Marketo instance is synced with Salesforce We have a revenue model with stages for when people become opportunities. question - I need some clarification around PEOPLE and BLOCKED when creating a smart list for an email program (same can be true for engagement program)  are PEOPLE the total number of records that fit the criteria I set but then I need to subtract the BLOCKED to get the true number of records that will be emailed? so really only 4265 will be eligible to receive this email 

Apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place.   Scenario: Webform (built in Marketo) is submitted and is matched with an existing person in the Marketo DB (email exact matching), the person is updated accordingly and some changes are pushed down to Salesforce, upon sync. I am happy with this functionality, I need an additional action. I still want the lead to be created in Salesforce, in order for our data management application to process the record according to our built in actions. I understand that Marketo can perform certain actions, but they do not cover our requirements.   I have spoken to Marketo support to explore workarounds on their platform and I want to reach out to the community to get their feedback this requirement.   Many thanks in advance, Luke    

Hello!   I'm trying to figure out a way to implement a window of attribution within Bizible. There was a super helpful post by Connor Hatfield about Zack Blois' tips and tricks in Bizible, of which a suppression rule for a window of time decay was one of the tips:   https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Blogs/Advanced-Bizible-Tips-amp-Tricks-with-Zack-Blois/ba-p/244359   I'm having a rather difficult time trying to navigate the setup of this, however. The post seems to reference custom segmentations, but the support documentation states that formulas are not supported within custom segments, so I'm a little unclear as to develop that suppression rule within Bizible.   We have super old touches going back to 2006 that we'd definitely want to not include with attribution crediting. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,    We currently encountered too many email bounces when we added around 45k new email addresses to the existing audience in smart list criteria. I exported list of users from Marketo database and added the emails which were not included in the previous batches.   also, we are using the deliverabilty filters to the campaigns inorder to avoid the bounces -    Do you suggest something here as to how we can avoid the bounces?

Marketo account is already sync with Salesforce account. Now, business need is to sync Marketo Email invalid field to Salesforce. What will be possible way to sync this Marketo email invalid field with Salesforce in Lead and Contact profile.

All, I have a situation where I have some JS written directly into a Landing Page Template.   I want to debug said JS.  I'm using Chrome for this.  When I hit F12 and go to sources, I can't find the LPT code anywhere.   I did a 'search all files' and typed in a variable name I know exists in the code, and that turned up nothing.   As per usual, I am sure I am being super blind and or super dense.  Any help would be appreciated.   Cheers Jo

Hi, We're getting instances of old, archived campaigns triggering updates to our leads. For example, a lead is updated in Salesforce and is synced across to Marketo. Because the lead was once part of an old program (which has since been archived), it gets re-added to the Marketo program and triggers a series of updates in the system which makes it pop out as an MQL. Has anyone else experienced this? Any reason as to why it might be happening? Support are not sure what's happening and are still investigating. Thanks Natali 

Does anyone currently use the forward to a friend feature? I was wondering if it was possible to add a snippet that lets the person know a friend had us send this. So they don't assume we are just spamming them. 

Hi All, Recently we discovered that our emails are not rendering spaces put into the html. Strangely enough this is only visible when looking at the emails on Apple products. It has turned into a time consuming process to review these emails and enter forced spaces into them so that they appear right on all platforms. It is happening across several different templates. We input our emails through the html editor and word, i.e. format using the HTML and paste the body text from word directly into the HTML editor. Has anyone run into this before and if so what did you do to fix it?

Is there any way to get the asset name of the sales email in question and reference it in an interesting moment / create task flow step?   Example: Sales team member sends an email via MSI Lead clicks email I want to write an interesting moment referencing the email asset name the person clicked There are trigger tokens documented for {{trigger.Name}} and {{trigger.Subject}} but those are both the subject line of the email, not the name of the email asset.   Any ideas?

Is there a way to send an email based on the % video viewed through the vidyard-marketo integration? 

Is there any way we can stop creating duplicate leads if someone is creating the lead manually?  we have the leads flowing form CRM and other sources, where we dont see any issue of duplicate leads. For list upload we have the dedupe process in place. But still the manual creation of lead is a challenge. We tried removing the lead creation right for few members, but it will not completely remove the risk. Also have the smart list which gives the possible duplicates by email address but that is reactive. Is there any way we can make any rule or workflow to catch it during the time of creation. 

Is it possible to have 2 Marketo fields pointing to one field in SFDC?

Hello,We use Partitions/Workspaces in our instance, because we have purposefully duplicated leads. We separate those partitions according to Record Type IDs from SFDC. All records are assigned to the Default partition as well for operational purposes.I ran into a problem with lead creation using forms: When a form is filled, a lead gets created in the Default partition (of course because no SFDC Record Type ID available yet). To solve that, I passed the perspective Record Type ID as a hidden field in the form. That threw the lead into the right partition. BUT.. If a lead already exists in another partition with the same email address, Marketo will change the Record Type ID to the new one and move them through partitions! Huge problem for us! Am I missing I missing something here or is it a usual expectation? Anyone ran into something similar?I appreciate the help. Best, Hussam

Hello, I'm trying to create an extra space row in an email that needs to be different for desktop and mobile. I thought I'd create two rows and hide one for desktop/mobile but I've run into an issue where I can't get the variable in the <head> to work.
