Hi fellow Marketo users,Stumbled on a cookie issue, below are the details.We're testing embedding an iFrame into a landing page and placing a Marketo lightbox form as the gate. The vendor, Navattic is integrated with Marketo via API. Feeding in data such as step completed, project name, etc. When users are already cookied or clicked "accept cookies" from the page, Navattic is able to push user engagement data with the iFrame into Marketo as person custom fields. (Perfect).However, when users don't accept the cookies or ignore the cookie prompt from the web page, the data will not push into Marketo. I am confused by this because if the user fills out a Marketo form, shouldn't the person be cookied? The engagement is after the form fill.Curious if anyone else have experienced this issue before? Are there any workarounds? Thank you very much.

Hello, everyone! I'm having an issue with the integration between Marketo and Salesforce. I won't give you here all the context because it's not relevant, but you should know I'm already talking with the support team from both companies.   But, while the issue is not solved, I need to send information from Marketo to Salesforce.   Basically, I have leads with fields filled out in Marketo, but because of the integration bug, the same fields are empty in Sfdc. When I try to force the sync, both end up empty. So, Sfdc is sending the null value to Marketo instead of the other way around.   Do you know if I can build a Smart Campaign to make this unidirectional sync? The flow step "sync to sfdc" doesn't work in this case. 

I have updated rebranded email templates. I plan to create new email assets using the new email templates. Then copy all the HTML and paste it into the current nurture email assets. Does anyone know if this will still make the email appear to be "new" to those in the nurture? I don't want people to get this email again because the content itself is staying the same, just some elements of the footer is different.

Just spent 4 hours designing a landing page in Marketo - only to delete it by accident! How can I restore it? Can I restore it? Thanks

I've seen other posts on this and in most cases it appears to be forms loading from different sources. Client recently enabled ReCaptchaV3 and is starting to get that error message intermittently. They also have WP as a CMS. Looking at page source and inspect element shows some issues but it's hard for my non-coder brain to parse. I can sign into Marketo, click through My Marketo, Marketing Activities, Database, etc.  But when I try to engage with specific programs, nothing wants to load...is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I am trying to get the teams to upload the image via a Microsoft Form, and through a PowerAutomate flow, I am trying to do an HTTP request to upload that file into Marketo.I managed to get the file content as base64 string. And here is my API request. Hello,   I have spent the last few months rolling out Jeto for the purposes of our campaigns team (@ 16 people worldwide) to have the ability and flexibility to design their own emails and landing pages.  The issue I have now is that some of the team (@ half) are insisting on having access to Marketo in order to be able to do all their asset work there.  As an admin, this obviously makes me nervous.   Is it doable to offer them limited access to build what they need to in Design Studio and/or Marketing Activities (we do have templates that can be cloned in MA) without them having the ability to do anything else?  If it is "all or nothing" in terms of access, what type of training should be offered so they only do what is needed and cannot mess anything up.  What do you all suggest?   Thank you!!

Hello, We ran a send email flow that included a step Change Program Status Program: RGN-ABM-YYYYMMDD--Account-Name, New Status:  Account Based Marketing > Sent.    The problem is that the above named Program is the template program, not the actual program.  This was cloned over from the template and that part was not renamed to the actual program.     The members are now showing in the template.  So how do we removed them from the template and add them to the right program?

We have a ton of clean up to do with leads that are not associated with accounts. I can't imagine that we are the only ones with this issue! Does anyone use any type of software (does this exist) to associate leads and contacts to accounts we have - maybe that is by email domain/ company URL ...?    We are hoping to avoid manual clean up but wanted to ask all here if there was any ideas or any service or software that can do that for us! Thank you! 

Marketo Measure already has documentation on revenue amounts but I find that a lot of people are still a bit confused as to what exactly is going on. This post seeks to break it down and help you understand if there's any action needed to make sure Marketo Measure is pulling from your preferred revenue field.    Out of the box, Marketo Measure will reference the Standard Amount field on the Opportunity Object in SFDC to perform its revenue calculations. If your organization uses the Standard Amount field in a way that makes sense for your attribution reporting, you're good to go! No further action is needed.    On the other hand, maybe your organization would prefer that Marketo Measure read from a custom field -- maybe something like TCV or ARR. You CAN do this, we just need to configure it in two places -- Salesforce and the Marketo Measure account.  If this is your situation, make sure you're following best practices for determining your custom amount field.

I am looking for possible workaround to sync Marketo program custom tags with Salesforce campaign. In below screenshot I have created training tag in Marketo and want to sync this with Salesforce campaign in campaign type.     As business use case is to define the multiple tags in Marketo program like, author, record type, campaign type etc. and sync back those info into Salesforce campaign fields.

My requirement is to redirect people only after event completes in all three timezone and for that I want to understand which date I should select after event in Token for this (I mean Event Day +1 or Event Day +2 or what?) The default text for the label appears in the variables editor in the LP, however, the button is showing the global variable code instead of the text. Hi there,   Here's a twisted question I received from one of my colleagues today, is it possible to keep existing only existing contacts during a list import and avoid creating new contacts?    Knowing that Marketo uses the email address to find and update existing contacts, can all the additional ones be removed at the time of upload? Or maybe afterwards? If so, how do I do that?    Thank you, L.

We are trying to implement SSO in Marketo using Azure AD. We have followed the Microsoft document in order to configure Azure AD SSO, and the SSO setup has been updated along with adding the identity provider certificate in Marketo. However, while we proceed to test the same, the Marketo user is not able to access it using the Azure-generated login URL (landing on an error page that says "AADSTS750054: SAMLRequest or SAMLResponse must be present as query string parameters in HTTP request for SAML Redirect binding."), and if they try to access Marketo using the default URL, they get an error message that says incorrect username/password. Hello all,   we have a problem and I wonder if anyone had a creative solution for it. We have a Custom Object created for sending our Expiration Emails based on the Product End date purchased. One custom object created as a Service agreement -  linked to Lead ID in the Marketo database and has a relationship like below 1 product vs. 1 lead multiple product vs. 1 lead   We need to build a Smart List that finds all customers whose contracts expire in exactly 90 days.  In Future after X-1-> so we add 89 days  In Future X days -> so we add as 90 days     But the results are not expected, because of the multiple Contract on the same person. It qualifies the contact even with the Empty END date. Not exactly ending in 90 days is not qualified here.      If someone can suggest any solutions for this, it would be a great help.  

I was unable to figure this out by searching, so I figured I'd post and ask.I hate messy lists. When I am testing the drafts of emails, I often use the "Send Sample" email functionality, and then "Choose Previous Address..."But that list is a mess of mostly email addresses that I never want to send to again, and my most frequently used addresses are littered within it. I'd like to wipe that list and start anew, or be able to edit it. Does anyone have any insight into making this happen?Thanks!
