What if I told you that you could generate a brand-compliant email template in seconds by simply uploading a screenshot? Well, thanks to the latest release in both Marketo Engage and Journey Optimizer B2B Edition, Marketing Ops can do just that. Creating and updating branded email templates has always been a critical part of the campaign creation process. Yet, for many marketers, this process has historically been time-consuming and resource-intensive, often requiring manual HTML coding or reliance on agencies and IT teams. These traditional methods not only slow down campaign execution but also consume valuable budget and resources. The new Image to Template feature transforms the way Marketing Ops build email templates. Instead of spending hours coding or outsourcing, you can now convert design files, such as screenshots, into brand-compliant, editable HTML templates in seconds. No coding. No waiting. Just instant results. With drag-and-dr

Hi, We are nearing our storage limit in Workfront and I've been spending time clearing out documents and various other bits to reduce the risk of actually hitting the limit and then being unable to upload new docs. Ideally we don't want to get to the point of needing to pay for additional storage. We use AEM Assets linked to Workfront so this should be used for storing nearly everything (except for Proofs which we do through Workfront), but users haven't been great at this in the past so we are working through moving files saved in Workfront to AEM to help free up some space. I wondered if anyone with experience in this area might have any tips that could help? Below are some questions I've had, if anyone can help clarify these? When I delete documents, I'm always 30 days behind as files are stored here for 30 days until permanently deleted. I've seen a couple of 'ideas' posted on Experience League which I have 'liked', asking for an option to permanently delete things m

Configuration Options One of the questions that often comes up with the Media migrations to Edge is, “what are the configuration settings I need?” The unspoked part of that question is, “We used to have so many, and now you’re only giving us a datastream ID” Indeed, let’s talk about Edge vs non-Edge Media SDK implementations. In the non-Edge implementation, you had to add a few configuration parameters to the implementation itself: RSID (report suite ID) HB End point Analytics end point Org ID/publisher Channel, sdkVersion, playerName SSL flag AudienceManager and target settings, as applicable App Environment ID (if applicable) In the Edge implementation, the development team will only be concerned with: Datastream ID (aka Config ID) Edge End point (maybe; aka Domain Name) App Environment ID (if applicable) In an Edge implementation, all data, including Media data, is sent to one unified end point so you no longer need to provide a separate video/Heartbeat server. For those of us in marketing operations who are wired to crave efficiency, governance and time-saving techniques, Marketo Engage tokens have always been a critical part of our process. Until recently, tokens could be created at a local (program) level or at the folder level within Marketing Activities. Fast forward to today, in addition to still having your tried-and-true local tokens, you now have the ability to create instance-wide tokens that can be applied across any program or folder! You can add and edit global tokens by going to the Admin tab, navigating to the left-hand side navigation tree and clicking My Tokens. Here you can drag, drop and edit token types, names and values to your liking. Note that you have to have admin permissions to access this. These tokens will now be available to use in any program when navigating to the program itself and clicking on the My Tokens tab. When creating a global token strategy you'll want to think o
Hello all! Thanks for taking time to read this first article in the series of Adobe Target Technical Tuesdays. Together with my colleague , we will focus on answering common challenges Adobe Target practitioners face and sharing some ways to make the most out of this powerful tool. Why Frequency Capping as a topic for this article? First, let me explain why I selected the subject for today's blog. As part of our role as community advisors, we consistently strive to assist fellow members of the Adobe Target community in addressing their queries and concerns on this platform. One particular question, in various forms, has cropped up repeatedly: "How can I ensure that an experience is displayed a limited number of times?" Recognizing the significance of this query, I decided to craft a comprehensive response that encompasses both the technical and business aspects of the solution. Our aim is to provide valuable insights to our colleagues, empowering them to enhance customer experi

When our Adobe leadership first encouraged us to use AI in our work, I was hesitant. I’m no Luddite – point me at any new gadget or a cool app that I can use in my job to make things easier, faster or just more interesting! So, it wasn’t a “resistance to change” thing. And I’m reasonably confident I’m not contributing to the creation of time-traveling cyborg assassins because I’m embracing AI prompts in the 2020s. (Don’t come at me, SkyNet.) So what was causing me to drag my heels about AI as a tool? It felt like…cheating. So – and part of using AI ethically is to be transparent about it as a source – I asked the AI tool that we use here in Adobe why using AI feels like cheating. It’s one of the first prompts I used. And its answers were illuminating to me: Cultural norms value hard work, skill, and effort; using AI to improve efficiency may seem like it skips these steps, even when thoughtful decisions are still involved. Uncertainty About Ownership: “When AI aids idea
