Hi everyone, I'm working through a challenge with our Marketo event registration forms and would appreciate some guidance. Our business partners want the ability to register clients on their behalf and/or the ability for registrants to add guests, then later pull a full registration list with all registrants. We’ve run into an issue where a partner enters their own email address but fills out the guest’s name and phone number, causing the form submission to update their existing record instead of creating a new one for the guest. Here’s an example of what our form would potentially look like: -- First Name:Last Name: Phone Number:Email: + Add Guests Guest First Name:Guest Last Name:Guest Phone Number:Guest Email Address:+ Add Another Guest -- Currently, I pull registration lists using a Smart List > Filled Out Form filter, but this approach wouldn't capture guest details accurately because the guest fields aren't the prima
Does anyone else have issues with their data store finding a "match" record in their data store that is incorrect? This seems to happen anytime we try to add a new row to our data store. Example: User enters Business Division: BPG, Queue topic: Brightcove Data store information:BPG, Brightcove - assign to BPG TeamAIG, Brightcove - assign to a user The data store assigns the request to the AIG user instead of the BPG team.
Description - Would like the ability to create templated email sends for automated workflows in proofWhy is this feature important to you - When routing assets to a handful of different companies, we would like the ability to send personalized emails to each company that can be templated and attached to the automated workflow they are on. Currently, you can customize an email when setting up a proof, but this adds a lot of manual work to our team that is setting up the proof to copy and paste a message in, when it could be templated out and drive efficiencies for our team. How would you like the feature to work - For each unique automated workflow, create a section that allows you to tailor email communications that can be saved and are always on when creating a proof with a specific automated workflow.Current Behavior - Does not exist, but you can customize an email upon proof creation.
Description - Would like the ability to target different on load messages in Proof and be able to attach them to specific automated workflows. Why is this feature important to you - We would love to be able to have this feature enabled for some users and not all users when viewing a proof. For example, we have external users that need the message and the internal company users do not need the message. Since we are unable to target a specific workflow, all users unfortunately have to see and click to remove this message, which adds another step for the end user and they have found this to be an annoyance since we turned this on recently. Lastly, we have a few different businesses in our instance and it would allow flexibility for different units to control their own messaging. How would you like the feature to work - Be able to create personalized on load messages that you are then able to target to specific proof automated workflows.Current Behavior - Currently you are able to turn on th
Description - We would like the ability to limit commenting to only those tied to the Proof workflow. Currently you can add ANY proof user to a comment. Why is this feature important to you - As a marketing agency, we work with competitor clients and some users work across clients. We need the ability to protect proprietary information and protect from inadvertently emailing someone with a similar name at the wrong client. Our art directors work with many groups and the external emails are only used in Proof. External clients do have not access to our platform. So changes to user access would not be an option for us. Also, the Share setting within Proof itself isn't feasible because Partner accounts only seems to work with organizations that also have WF Proof. How would you like the feature to work - It would be good to have an option within the proof workflow details that restricted users from tagging anyone but the people who are me
I would like to raise a topic for which not even to this day I don’t have a clear straight forward concrete answer to give to someone that encounters the type of situations explained below. The challenge is when one needs to customize something OOTB from AEM. Number of situations are enormous. Imagine just few that one may face:- To customize how Content Fragment behaves in terms of auto-saving- Customize renditions display or availability to download in left panel of an assets- Tap in into the steps of copy-paste of a piece of content- Alter functionality of a specific AEM page, like /security/permissions.html, or /projects.html, /assets.html- Add a new custom column in the /sites.html/content- Find an AEM endpoint implementation, conclude if it can be modified, change then its behaviour and control the response- Enhance an RTE or a dialogAnd the list can go on and on forever. I am not interested in how to tackle exactly each of these few examples from above. I am interested
I Am new to AEM. Doing migration from 6.4 to cloud there i need convert SCR Annotations to OSGI R6/R7 annotations .I Don't want to do manually changes like changing each and every file annotations. without doing manually changes is there any way it will convert SCR annotations to R6/R7 respective annotations. Your suggestions will be very grateful for me . Thanks.
I need to create an expression where I select only people who the payment will expire in 14 days FROM today. The expiration field is called DueDate. The logic would be currant date + 14. What expression should I use and how it would look like? Thanks 🙂
I needed to update the calculation on a custom form, but instead of just adding the new code in I have receive an error code stating " Form Number field is used in a multi-form configuration, if you would like to change this formula you will need to remove this field and replace it with a new one containing the desired calculation". Form Number is the custom field I wanted to update, but now I have to create a whole new field, add the modified formula, remove this field from every form it's on, and add the new field back where the old was replaced... but b/c I don't want the name of the field to change I have to do this a second time with the correct name. This is a huge undertaking when every other field updates immediately when an update occurs, not sure why this can't update as well. Even selecting the option of Update Calculation is useless.
I am a power user/resource hog in Fusion. I perform 10s of thousands of operations and frequently need to move around 100s of MBs if files. As such, I run out of your paltry 1GB of memory frequently. I am informed by Support that there is no way to monitor the current memory usage while running a Fusion scenario. And the official answer is "just do less". I argue this is a PRIME case for providing us access to poll the current used memory from within a running scenario. Similar to an Environment variable. This way I would not have to run hard until I hit a brick wall, I could periodically poll the current memory usage and decide if I need to gracefully stop or if I am able to continue on. I am surprised that this doesn't already exist, as it is rather asinine that I can "do anything" in Fusion, but run it hard until it breaks in a non-graceful way. Thank you,Wes-(Very large, multi-milion dollar client)
According to a local document, there are two ways to register users: through Workfront or via the Admin Console. It states that any additions or modifications made in one will be immediately synchronized with the other. However, it also mentions that external users are not synchronized with the Admin Console. Our client’s operations require the registration of external users. In this case, should user management be conducted exclusively through the Admin Console?
Did you know that you can use conditional formatting on a View to compare two date fields? Before you start, just a bit of review. Conditional formatting allows you to customize how information displays on a report. You can make information stand out by making the text bold or highlighting a field. The formatting is set up as part of the View. (For more information, see Using conditional formatting in Views.)You can use conditional formatting for a variety of things—for example, making a task appear in red when the progress status is late or highlighting in gray all of the project planned completion dates that fall in the current quarter.Let’s look at an example where we use conditional formatting to highlight when the projected completion date on a task is later than the planned completion date. The formatting lets you manually compare dates and shows you, at a glance, how work is progressing.Just a warning...Setting this up will take a bit of back-and-forth between several window
Can you please add the ability to rearrange the fields on the layout when viewing custom object records? The fields are perhaps arranged according to the order in which they were created, but there are logical groupings that we want to create to make it easier when viewing the records. As it stands, we have date fields that are all over the place, in an order that is not helpful.
We would like to be able to report on total Planned Hours by Role by Project. Currently if more than one role is assigned to a task in a project, we can't report on the planned hours for each role on the task. Reporting on this will allow us to better estimate effort hours by role for new projects from prior projects. We cannot use Actual hours as we don't carry worker licenses for all of our users so being able to use Planned Hours would get us closer. Also, since we are not able to break out Planned Hours for tasks by role, we are also not be able to compare planned hours to actual hours, which is something we are hoping to do as well for those who do have a worker license.
I have a set of Tokens containing CONTRACT NUMBERS and I'm trying to get the lead's Contract Number to simply display for one of them, but I keep getting a blank display in the email test. I tried setting a variable and assigning it the first Contract Number value. I then, wanted to check if the field is blank, and if so show nothing, then if the field contains data, i wanted the value to display. I'm not sure if there are errors with my syntax structure as this my first time writing this script. I've supplied the example below, and am welcome to any suggestions. #set($contractNum1 = $lead.titledVehicleContractNumber1) ##Titled Vehicle Contract Number 01 #if($lead.titledVehicleContractNumber1.isEmpty()) ##Show Nothing #else $contractNum1.equals($lead.titledVehicleContractNumber1) #end ${contractNum1}
Description - Currently the three options for individual user proof permission profiles are supervisor (listed 1st), manager (listed 2nd) and administrator (listed 3rd). Why is this feature important to you - Our team uses proofs actively on all projects. Each user needs the right access to proof/edit/approve, etc.How would you like the feature to work - I have a few options. 1 - Switch the word manager to reviewer so someone knows that's the lowest level permission. 2 -Put the options in access order = manager, supervisor, admin. Option 3 - Add a question mark icon to define these three levels when someone hovers over it.Current Behaviour - I had my designers using the manager setting and there were numerous access issues. I didn't realize it was the lowest level permission.
Description - Use an LLM and finetune it with WF(and the other products) documentation and the content stored in the Community forums. Then put it either in the search or in the side bar as an assistant. Why is this feature important to you - It would be a great way to make finding answers more efficient. How would you like the feature to work - Expained above in Description.Current Behavior - THere is currently no AI so searching is the only choice.
Please upvote this idea to get it into production! Overview: I hope to remove the manual efforts of having to remove individuals as resource managers on templates and/or projects when a resource manager is deactivated or reduced in access. Right now Workfront gives you an error when trying to copy projects or use templates with these type of users and it is pretty annoying. Overall, it should just automatically do this to elude to manual step! Link: Auto remove resource managers who were deactivated... - Adobe Experience League Community - 737250
I have an issue where a group of leads made their way through a trigger campaign months ago with the flow step to request campaign for a campaign that was not active. If I activate the requested campaign, will all of the leads who had previously gone through the request campaign workflow instantly be moved into the campaign requested or will they have to be put through again?
I have a website, www.domain.catalog, with multiple subpages that are all structured in the same way. Since their data can be analyzed in the same way, I need to create individual Adobe Analytics (AA) reports for each subpage. The URLs follow this pattern:www.domain.catalog.page1www.domain.catalog.page2www.domain.catalog.page3Is there a way to automatically generate separate reports for each subpage without manually copying a report and changing the URL each time? Can I use wildcards, segments, or filters to automate this process?Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
I was watching this video on the ACDL and how it is consumed and mapped in Launch. Adobe Client Data Layer - Event-Driven Data Handling | Adobe Data CollectionWhat wasn't explained was what the data element selection, at the top of the mapping table, of "event message event" is for and how it is leveraged. Does anyone know what this selection does? How this "event message event" data element would work? Also I'm looking for more documentation or videos on how to work with the EDDL and how it integrates with Launch (tags). Thanks!
Can you believe both AEM Sites or AEM Assets do not have Trashcan feature where you can easily undelete/restore deleted files? As a robust product like AEM, this is absolutely inexcusable to not have such feature built in.. Even Wordpress has "Trash" feature..Please, I beg you, product team, consider adding this feature.Philip

Customer Journey Analytics recently got a new visualization called "Journey Canvas", which lets us define user journey through dragging and dropping elements onto a canvas. It nicely fits between the exploratory Flow viz and the more rigid Fallout viz and is great to visualize, well, journeys: However, if we right-click any node and choose the "Create Segment Filter from node" option, we see that there is no magic smoke inside of this new visualization. This impressive viz falls in the category which I like to call "Segment Builders", as all that it's doing is creating complex sequential Segments Filters on the fly, then display the result in a nice way. It's practically just a couple Freeform tables in a trench coat: This doesn't make the Journey Canvas viz any less impressive but clearly highlights one important detail: There is no technical reason why this shouldn't be in Adobe Analytics. We have built Segments like the one on the screenshot above for years in AA, especially with
