Hi, Wasn't sure what to name this idea, but I realized today that a fairly simple concept is quite complicated to create in Marketo. It would be great to be able to add in rules for parts of emails-- without having to create segmentations or separate emails. Here are some example (with made-up tokens):We're only {{my.event_days_left}} days/day away from the event! Looks like you've taken a look at {{lead.weekly_whitepaper_views}} whitepapers/whitepaper this week!I see you've logged in {{lead.login_count}} times/time since you've joined.it would be great to achieve this somehow (as explained by my excel formula):We're only {{my.event_days_left}} (if({{my.event_days_left}}=1, "day", "days") away from the event!
I understand that when a mobile device opens an email, we add to the open count, but we want to know the breakdown of how many opens are on Mobile Devices and what kind. It would really help us design our emails knowing what percentage of our customers are reading our emails on iPhones, Blackberries, etc. vs. using Outlook on a laptop or desktop. Also what % open the emails in a browser.
I would love ot be able to see a calendar view of what campaigns are running and what is scheduled at any given time. Ideally I would be able to drill down on what step will affect whom at any given time.
Hi,We should have ability to have a single view of all emailings/ landing pages/ assets regardeless of where there are hosted (Design Studio, Marketing activities...).Cécile @ Talend
Have floated this idea before but I'm so tired of wading backwards in time for ideas that were probably merged with unrelated ideas, voted up, status changed to 'liked' or 'working on it', and still never implemented, I'm just reposting them from now on.THE ISSUE:If you set up an Email report in analytics, and set the date of activity to be a range like last month or last year or set up a custom date range that ends in the past, the report range only ever honors the beginning of the date range. The last activities of the report always run all the way up to the present and ignore the end date of the established date range.
It would be great to have a notes area when you upload images, place to identify if dimensions have changed on a re-upload, rights status, etc. Does this exist and I'm just missing it?
Our marketo sales insight feature is enabled and showing up in Salesforce as an embedded view on the leads and contacts but it is not showing up in the accounts and Opportunitites. I know that the webinar said it should show up as a mash up on the accounts and opportunities of all the contacts and leads. How do we enable this and is it through Salesforce or Marketo?
Currently when a list is uploaded to Marketo, the fields are overwritten by the uploaded data. Example: I talk with the same lead at two events. Notes taken from the second conversation overwrites those taken during the first conversation on list import. That's valuable information that I don't want to loose and seems like functionality that should already be included within Marketo. This would make Marketo much more valuable and life so much simpler.
This is REALLY minor, but what's listed are not badges earned this month.
We are an Enterprise customer that works within a very structured IT department utilizing many SFDC instances (6-7) for various projects at once. Therefore, it would be great to partition a cloned instance of Marketo where all programs, partitions, etc. are all present to prepare for synchronization with a new salesforce instance.
Would be great to have a Smart List Filter that would allow for immediate duplicate record identification within that Smart List. So if I pull a Smart LIst of all Leads in Michigan, I could put this filter in and it would just show the leads in Michigan that are duplicates based on specified identification field (Full Name or Email).
It would be great to have "This Month' standard filter just the way This Quarter and This Year is available. We are running numbers on a monthly cadence and it would a lot of pain away b not having to update date filter every month.
It would be great to have a ‘multi-link function’ in order to track and report on multiple links in a single email more conveniently, without having to use smart lists for each link individually.
We need to create a view in Marketo Sales Insight so that a sales rep can see email "Opens" for a particular email sent or a campaign.Support has told me that this functionality doesn't currently exist so I'm submitting it as an Idea. Thanks,Natalie
My campaign and program reports are always inaccurate because when my email proof readers test the email for the call to action link, usually taking them to the landing page, it adds them to the success stats. They are also added to the status of progression reports that I create and it's so misleading. Is there a way that if a test email is sent to testers, do not include the end result in the campaign, program reports or status in progression.
Lynda.com is where I do most of my software training and the format makes it easy to follow and use. Perhaps there is an opportunity to sync this up with the desire for users to be certified. I have not been incredibly happy with the University portion of this site and I think there are some best practices that can be gleaned from Lynda.com.Cheers,David
Create a tag, star or folder that we can save our favorite Marketo articles and discussions to reference later as needed. An example would be when I find an article about adding CSS to an email design, I can tag it, star it or save it in a folder for later reference. Maybe "My Favorites" could be a link somewhere in our community section.
It would be nice to be able to directly message other people in the community.
Just way Landing Page performance report shows conversion from total views to conversions, it would be really useful to have a field in the same report that would show new names to total conversions ratio. This would help to analyze and understand better which programs are the most appealing to new names compared to someone that has already been engaged with some other offers.
Any idea why when I send an email with a email address link that when the email address is clicked it opens a new window, plus a window to send an email to the email address that was clicked? I hope that makes sense...The link in the window that opens starts with http://pages.mortgagebot.com/track? and then continues. I would like for this window to not pop open if possible. Thanks!
I would like to be able to insert an image into a landing page and then select it and have it hyperlink to something else. This similar to how when you add an image to the Rich Text box you are able to select what you would like it to hyperlink to.
We've been using Marketo for at least 2 years now so we have a lot of assets and programs. I'd like the ability to hide those that I turn into archives so they don't show up in the navigation tree unless they appear in search results. This would keep the navigation tree only showing active programs and declutter it. The only benefit I can see of archiving at the moment is tha the color changes!
I have used Marketo to create emails to send externally (customers) via our salesforce database. However, i have recently been asked to include employees in all of our mailings. We do not have every single employee in our salesforce database. I would like to use our company distribution list email address. Is this possible? Please help!
It would be nice to have the ability not to update certain fields with certain forms. For example we are creating a quick form for our sales staff to use at a trade show booth to email ebrocheres. We don't want the ip address tied to the email since the ip address will be the same (dynamic ip from WIFI card) at the both.
It would be great if when you made a change at the template level, you were able to approve the drafts that use that template all at once instead of individually.
