I'm using the following curl command to make changes into the content fragment through curl. curl -i -X PATCH \ 'https://{bucket}.adobeaemcloud.com/adobe/sites/cf/fragments/{fragmentId}' \ -H 'Authorization: Bearer <YOUR_JWT_HERE>' \ -H 'Content-Type: application/json-patch+json' \ -H 'If-Match: string' \ -d '{ "op": "add", "path": " ", "value": "Doe" }' "according to the Sites API. However I'm confused regarding the command as I do not know what value do I put in path if my content fragment is at location /content/dam/wknd-shared/en/where name of the content fragment is custom-author and I want to add "doe" in the property Last Name (lastName in content fragment model) assuming it is blank before. the final output should be as follows. Please guide me on how to do the same.

Hello, I have a question, I’m currently testing sling:alias because I need to replace some URLs. My question is, when using sling:alias, will the resource resolver automatically return only the paths with the alias? Or will the original path still be valid? What I ultimately need is, if my original path is /content/testing and my alias is /content/testing-alias, I want /content/testing to return a 404 when entering the URL, and only be accessible through /content/testing-alias. I'm asking because someone told me that the normal behavior of the resource resolver is to always return the path with the alias and not the original path, so I’m not sure if that’s true, or if I have an older version that prevents me from seeing this behavior.

I have a TIFF file with a clipping path and a dynamic image preset to resize and produce a TIFF file. I have uploaded the TIFF file to AEM, But when I download the dynamic image preset of that file it no longer has the clipping path in the metadata. Does the dynamic media not preserve clipping path information? And is there any way to have it preserve the path when generated?

Hello,   We have encountered a few images where agencies have added metadata like clipping paths, and the name of the clipping path is visible in the metadata when accessed using ExifTool. However, this information is not being extracted by the DAM Update Asset workflow and added to the metadata node.   Are there specific rules that determine which types of metadata can be extracted? For metadata that does not meet these rules, what is the recommended approach to extract and include such metadata?

There's only small foundational course with basic definitions and benefits of terminologies, but the syllabus is very huge and only offered links of documentation in prep guide. Can you suggest any courses available and the way I've to prepare to crack exam.

Hi, I'm testing some new release functionality is Preview and wanted to check if want I'm experiencing is as expected. I can only add images to the update section comments after I've submitted the post. I can't add the image while I'm writing the original comment. Is that normal?I'm trying out the new image drag and drop option, but I think this was the same when having to navigate to the image from the device. ThanksMatt

Hey, we're building an EDS site for a client and ideally we don't want the .live or .page site to be crawlable or accessible publicly. We want some sort of security or VPN (or login) around it? Is this possible? What options do I have?

An AEM Developer creates a custom OAK index for /content/mywebsite under /oak:index node. While testing the live site. It is found that the index is not being applied to any query within the website. Hello,I recently started seeing the "redirect" beacon data in the AEP Debugger when data is 0kb in the network tab for that server call. Is there any way to hide this info since it is very confusing as there is no label for redirect and looks like an extra beacon is sent in AEP Debugger when it's not. We completely rely on AEP Debugger for testing so would really appreciate any feedback. 🙂Thanks!

Hi All,Till AEM 6.5 if we need to update the confidence score for Smart tag we can update com.day.cq.dam.similaritysearch.internal.impl.SimilaritySearchServiceImpl OSGi Config. However this is no longer available in AEMasCloud.For updating confidence score of Video asset we can use com.adobe.cq.assetcompute.impl.senseisdk.SenseiSdkImpl.cfg.json with below value { "minVideoActionConfidenceScore":0.5, "minVideoObjectConfidenceScore":0.5, }Looking for similar OSGI config for Image Asset and its config values.  Thank you

I've worked on a couple of Adobe implementations and with the tool itself for a number of years, and I don't recall ever seeing something like this. Instead of showing me zeroes where no data/counts exists the rows themselves are blank. What causes this? Is this normal?

As of June 7, 2023, improved Bot Reporting is now available in Workspace. Adobe has now introduced a ‘Bot name’ dimension shows the names of bots that were detected using Bot rules. These rules can be default IAB rules, or custom bot rules that your organization configures. It is helpful in cases where you want to learn more about what bots are visiting your site, or which bots generate the most traffic.  The Bot Name dimension is an Adobe provided component. Using the Bot Name dimension, you will see the names of the bots detected or custom bot rules supplied. Bot Name should only be used with Bot Page Views and Bot Occurrences. If this dimensions is used with any other Analytics metric, no data will result because it is unassociated with normal customer-based data in Analytics. Data processing for Bot Page Views began between February 26 and March 10, 2023; as a result, any reporting window prior to this date will not have data. This is true with both Native PDF Publishing and the AEM Sites outputs. Is this by design? Or will the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym eventually work as DITA intends them to work?
