We are redoing an mobile application and was hoping to use Adobe Launch for the data collection piece to simplify the analytics in the mobile app.    We were under the expectation that we could call MobileCore.trackaction or MobileCore.trackState which would allow us in Adobe Launch to listen on those events. And then apply any additional logic (filter in/out etc) and then fire the appropriate Analytics tracking event.   In our mobile application pod we did define "pod 'AEPAnalytics'" per various copy/paste docs we saw.   But the behavior appears to be calling trackAction and trackState is just sending the requests to Analytics and bypassing / ignoring Adobe Launch.   Then we discovered this gem in the documentation which seems to prove the above: https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/foundation-extensions/mobile-core/mobile-core-api-reference#trackaction   So I guess the ultimate question is ... Hi, While authoring the image component in AEMaaCS, I am getting the above error (code 500). I am using the  latest SDK of cloud and core component 2.19.0    Same thing is working on AEM On premise   The issue I found is the src pointing to content/project path instead it should point to dam. In the crx node I can view the dam path is authored  <img src=/content/sampleproject/us/en/home/_jcr_content/root/responsivegrid/teaser.coreimg.jpeg/1665398425996/ANCImage.jpeg>    

Can I use event listener to process assets before they are uploaded, or is there any way to process them before they are uploaded?

Hi,   When we try to create the Dynamic Media Configuration, After entering our email address and password, we were able to access the company and company folder and fill out all of the necessary fields. However, when we clicked the "Save" button, we received the error message, "ERROR Failed to Save Configuration". When we inspect the network tab/bin/wcmcommand returns a status code of 500. Further investigation revealed that the authorfarm was returning a dispatcher status code of 500, despite our having granted /bin/* access to allow access. We are unsure of the cause of the failure and the 500 status code. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

@costa_n11 ,All   please recomemnd: We have close to 2000 OLD wkfs LAST PROCESSED ON 2019 where  "kEep interim result ..." is checked  now coz of this lot of temp tables were created and right now also they exist in db now wwe want those tables to deleted from db==== we are thinking to follow this approach as recommeded by one of our colleegue": Could you please suggest if this approach is safe in this case:   1. Uncheck interim result workflows, purge history and manually execute the cleanup workflow. We saw in the backend database that it deletes the data without manual intervention.

Hi,Back again -.-I have a folder tree in my DAM that do not show any new assets added. I can see a handful of old documents in this folder but everything new does not appear here. Also, anything linking to these documents on the live site becomes a broken link. If I look at the same path in CRXDE all the assets appear under the folder. It's only this specific folder/tree as I can add assets fine to any other folder. Confused 😞 Any help would be appreciated.Kind Regards,

Hi, We are migrating content from legacy system where content is stored in flat structure. Each page has unique name and there is no identifier or pattern.  Example: /site/test/page...1    -> /site/test/page...5000 Approximately there are 5000 pages. After we move to AEM this old links should still work. Is there a performance impact on creating 5000 pages under single node. I am aware that it is not recommended to have more than 1000 node under single parent. However, We are planning to use Redirect Manager and redirect user to new pages with new structure.    Approach:   Create 5000 dummy/empty pages in AEM in a flat structure. During migration, create actual pages in proper AEM structure (content/folder1/page1). Use Redirect Manager to map dummy page to actual content.

hi  Im looking for some guidance for a project set up. I have costs against a user, however when when i create a tasks and assign them that to a user the Costs doesn't not show up in the report 😕😕

After seeing this new video that was released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsW3J0aehzU&t=1146s which mentions moving away from web SDK and doing everything on the server-side does that mean we need not do web SDK for new implementation? Is alloy.js going away? I understand the need for setting the FPID, but is the main reason for switching server-side approach to make your applications ready for all browsers so that no requests are getting blocked?

i created a custom field in metadata schema. This field have validation like starts with capital M,S and follow with numeric (ex:MS123 accepted Ms234 error). This field is not a required fields. if the user don't input any data it should save. if the user input some data/text and the data not follows the patten then we need to restrict the user in saving the asset details.   Please help...  

Hi all,   After a long time we have set up our publisher instance and now facing issues in recognizing all the dependencies required before publishing Content Fragments, pages, etc. Whenever I try to publish any item it fails and then I need to find the missing item and publish it. It seems a time-consuming lengthy process. Wondering if there is any easy way to identify the dependencies or publish all the items from the Author instance to publish instance?   Thanks. Mukesh

I have a report that shows requests by who it's assigned to, problem is I can only get the report to show the primary owner in the assignments, not by anyone who the request is assigned to.  Ideally, if a request has 4 people assigned to it I'd like for the report to show the request under those 4 people grouping, not just the owner.  Anyone know how to do that?

 

Hi All,Facing an issue for defaultvalue in textfield inside multfield for touch dialog. While authoring, I have removed the default value from dialog and saved it. In content the value is not present which is correct. Again when I reopen the dialog the defaultvalue in dialog is coming .Ideally it should not be coming because at content level it is not saving property. This is not happening for textfield with defaultvalue which is not used inside multifield.FYI: I am using value property for default value in textfield inside multifield or without multifield.

Hi Team,   I have separate login collection in post man one for (session token and security token) and the other for push event from the (WSDL File of nms:rtEvent). Where i am manually making use of the (session token and security token) from the login SOAP API call and then calling the Push Event to send the Email from post man,   i have shared both the collections and the WSDL file to the third party team. They are asking for a login WSDL and i am not sure where to get the login WSDL file from. can anyone help me out?   can this be done in the single WSDL?   Thanks, Shine v.v
