What is the recommended OS for prod envt setup for AEM on prem version and the basis for recommendation ?

I noticed today that the updates I received in my weekly Experience League Community Digest was from July and before. I looked back at last weeks and it didn't seem to be current information either? Is anyone else experiencing this?   

Hello Team,   I am trying to get a click event value in evar using Adobe Launch but somehow it's not working. My problem statment is: We have some videos over our page and every video has a "data-id" value assign to it. I want to assign this custom value in an evar on the click of the play button. I have created a rule which is firing when I am clicking over video button but my evar is not getting any value or even firing. I added the code to get "data-id" in a data element custom code and assigning that data element to evar using set variables for Adobe Analytics, but somehow it is not working. Hello all,    I have a datasource which supplies an xml to the XDP ( created with AEM forms 6.5 designer) In the XDP I have configured the text field to use the rich text property and provided a binding to the field in the incoming XML which has the html tags. I would like the text to be formatted based on the <b> and<br /> tags that are present in the XML string.   Below is the XML string:  <orderperson>Sample Text <br /> First Line <br /> <b> Bold Text </b></orderperson>   When i preview the document , i get a Sample ouput like below which just displays the html tags as plain text I am looking to get the output to be formatted like shown below.     Can any one help me with ways to achieve this?   Regards,  

Hey everyone,   I'm trying to install this package into my local instance of AEM: adobe-aemfd-win-pkg-6.0.640     But when I try to install the package it gives me this error:     I'm currently working on a windows VM and installed the latest version of AEM.   Does anybody know how to fix the issue or where can I troubleshoot it?   Best regards

I'm having OSGi issue when I'm trying to use com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat.xml   Bundle is present in platform, installed from launchpad:resources/install/20/jackson-dataformat-xml-2.13.0.jar in active state   I've added this dependency in scope provided to parent pom and then included it into core, but complication fails and error is:   [ERROR] The analyser found the following errors for author and publish :[ERROR] [api-regions-exportsimports] com...aem.core:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT: Bundle com.aem.core:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT is importing package(s) [com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat.xml, com.fasterxml.jackson.dataformat.xml.annotation] in start level 20 but no bundle is exporting these for that start level. (......:1.0.0-SNAPSHOT)   Solution here was to add bundle into all package and embed it, this allowed me to install package. The $name variable works and displays as expected in all cases. The url doesn't work. But only doens't work for the dependent values, the fallback value always shows.   After some testing, I found that if I take the $url out of the href tag and paste them as seperate lines, it works just fine. I'm assuming this isn't possible but I had a Proof Approval Report and I'd like to add the name of the associated Project for each Proof Approval. If it is possible, I'd love to know how. (Or, if not possible, any way to aggregate a proof with the project in which it belongs. Thanks!

I'm trying to use the embed component and when I use html that has an iFram with the height set to a number and the width set to a percent, the width is invalidated and removed but the height passes. How do I change the regex so that widht="100%" does not get filtered out?   From the /libs/cq/xssprotection/config.xml configuration.   <regexp name="numberOrPercent" value="(\d)+(%{0,1})"/>   If I set height or width to a percent, the attribute is filtered out by the validation. If it is a number, it passes and is kept.

Hi team, I'm experiencing a very strange issue: I setup a rule to fire top of the page with a condition based on "Path without query string" (regex enabled).I keep getting the following error message in the console:Failed to execute "Path Without Query String" for {rule name} rule. e[o].then is not a functionTypeError: e[o].then is not a function   I setup tons of these basic conditions in rule in the past without any issues.Note that this time, we're using the AEP Web SDK but my rule event is the Core "Page Top", my condition is Core "Paths without query string", only my action is AEP Web SDK "Send Event".This should not make any difference, though, right?   Any idea of what I am doing incorrectly?Thank you!

Hi Team,   I have a following use case to solve for- I have to give ability to users to  select multiple content fragments and trigger a review workflow. One workflow instance be created and running for this. Eg I selected CF1,CF2 and triggered w/f1. I should see 1 w/f instance running for both CF! and CF2 and not 2 seperate instances. Any pointers appreciated.  

I have a workspace project having few segments added as a dropdown list. I would like to schedule this project to some recipients, but since it is delivered in PDF format, only one segment would show.  If we save the project for each segment in the list and schedule, it overrides to the latest changes and delivers the same. Is there a solution to this?

I have an en master page where in I have a fr live copy but in the live copy page Live copy tab is missing in page properties.   Can anyone help me why the fr page isnt a live copy Thanks, Vani.

Hi Team,   How do we configure external account for Transactional Message Center SMS? we already have an External Account for SMS SMPP connector that is able to send bulk SMS from campaign workflow, but while creating the transactional SMS template the SMPP connector is not appearing in the external account in the delivery properties. I am trying to send SMS using message Center Via SOAP (Rt Event). I get successful return but is not delivering ( I see delivery Error but dont have access to the Rt instance for the logs).  Below is the XML that goes to the Message center via Soap. any idea what is going on? <rtEvent mobilePhone="+13135555555" email="" type="smsMobile" wishedChannel="MOBILE (SMS)" externalId="123Mobile">  <ctx>test</ctx></rtEvent> Result code: 72057594080534939

#1 - When submitting a request, all our custom forms are started with "Details" that are not fields I have built into my form. When a requestor is submitting a request, the first two questions are "Subject" and "Priority". I cannot figure out how to remove those as one is redundant but with a confusing title "Subject" and the other I do not want requestors to choose priority on their own, as everything seems to come in as "urgent". See screenshot.     #2 -  When converting the request to a project is there a way to customize what field turns into the project name when converted? This is purely a way to make our lives easier when converting the request.

Haven't used Launch... or Tags... or Platform Data Collection in a while, and just wondered when you set up an Adobe Analytics rule, should you add a condition to make sure the 's' variable is available? I'm using the Adobe Analytics extension, and in the past didn't perform this check as I thought it was something baked into using the Adobe Analytics extension. Many thanks!

while running the sample app provided by https://github.com/adobe/flutter_acpanalytics, nothing happens when sending trackState/trackActionSteps followed:1.
