Currently have a client that is unable to use the VEC on a certain page type because product data takes longer to load than the VEC allows. Let me explain: Whenever I want to run a test on a product page, the VEC doesn't fully load the page, so the product data, including product name and description, don't fully load in the DOM. I know there is a way to increase the timeout settings for the VEC I just cannot, for the life of me, find the setting in the Target admin. I'm unsure if this is related to my privileges, but I can't find the configuration option or documentation about where to change this setting. I know the setting exists because it is one of the questions that appear on the Master Architect certification test. Thanks in advance for any assistance on this. Hi All,   I tried to do a PoC on personalization using OOTB ContentHub. Everything I did as per documentation but when I am browsing the page from different browser or location, the page paints other components but not the targeted components for that we set the activity and audience. I am seeing below error on browser console and there is no entry in error log. I am using AEM 6.5 with SP 9. Hi,   I have the pre-hiding code snippet sitting above my tag manager in the head.   In the tag manager (GTM) I am triggering AT.js.    Should I be removing the default pre-hiding code from the Target javascript file if I am running it prior to the tag manager?   If so, what is the best way of removing it?    Thanks

As we upload the asset in aem dam we observed that /content/dam folder properties getting updated due to which asset is not visible after uploading . This is AEMAACS 2022.9.8722.20220912T101352Z .   However we tried with same jar version on local sdk with same custom codebase but it is working fine .It is only happening in cloud service . I've installed AEM Workbench and I'm trying to login and create a new server connection on the same machine/harddrive.  I've been using this Youtube video as a tutorial. I have NOT installed "aemforms_server_6_5_0_jboss_all_win.zip" yet, although I have it ready and available. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q740bCcgV8k In Workbench, when I click Login -> Configure -> Add new Server -> add title, hostname (localhost), SOAP/HTTP, and port 8080, and set username and password credentials to administrator/password, it gives me the error "Connection to (server title) failed. Please verify your connection settings and make sure the server is available before retrying".     How do I create a new server on the same machine? What am I doing wrong? Do I need to install "aemforms_server_6_5_0_jboss_all_win.zip"?

Hi Everyone We have a state-of-the-art data collection setup using the AEP Web SDK that redirects all events toward an AEP Datastream which distributes all captured events to AEP, Adobe Analytics, and other destinations. Recently a client enquired if it would be possible to dynamically filter different events and distribute them accordingly. E.g., certain events should be only sent to Adobe Analytics while others should be sent to all activated destinations within the datastream. Is there some feature (e.g., within the data prep) that could be utilized for this purpose? Thank you in advance!

Hello Experts, We are trying to Reverse replicate few nodes from Publish to Author, One amongst them is /home/users.I setup a launcher for the same, but even when the workflow shows that reverse replication is complete, User nodes are replicated from Publish to Author.Any Ideas why? Also, In case of Multi Publisher environment does AEM automatiacally replicates /home/user nodes to all Publishers including any custom properties for User? Thanks,Nitin 

our AEM cloud is currently hosted in Europe North (aka NL). However, as well as europe, we have customers in Brazil, for whom the site is unusably slow due to the large latency between the regions.   Now AEM fully supports putting publish instances into different locations, to solve this problem, but this feature is missing in the arguably-crippled Cloud version.   The question is what locations are available for hosing the cloud service, and specifically is Brazil supported?   The only option we have is to create and manage complete duplicationions of our sites in each region, which is going to be difficult and expensive, especially given its not possible to create a package with all our images even (due to the package size limitations) so we cant even backup or manually copy content from one env to another in the same region.   On prem might help, but we do not have any technical operations teams in our organization.  

Hi 🙂 We are migrating our native app implementation to AEP. In the process, we are changing the custom IDs being set on the app. Old implementation sets VID and ECID New implementation will set ECID only. We will ensure that the ECID set will be the same as the old implementation for all existing users. We are also sending the data to the same report suite.My question is, if I ask Analytics the total number of unique visitors to our platform spanning a date range over the upgrade, will Analytics consider the same person as 2 unique visitors over that range because we dropped VID?  (for argument sake assume there was a force upgrade of the app so everyone is on the AEP App)My concerns comes from the order of operations for IDs https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/id-service/using/reference/analytics-reference/analytics-order-of-operations.html?lang=en  

Is it possible to create custom views and filters in the Requests section? I know I can create a custom report and create views, filters, groups there but I would like to be able to add the view and filter to the request object in the same way I do for other objects (portfolios, programs, projects, users etc) Specifically, I want to create a filter so that users only see requests that belong to the users HOME GROUP but I don't see a way to do that without creating a report.      

Jumping off of this post - does anyone know a way to view the Learning Paths without having and Experience League login? We like to share the learning paths with new users and I am afraid that if there is any sort of barrier teammates won't review the training. Has anyone been able to find how to or is it possible to make these links 'public' since most of our users won't need an account? Hi,   Is there a way to edit policies and assign them to all instances of a component within a site?  For instance, I want all teasers on my site, regardless of where they are placed or page they are used in to share the same policy settings.   I am trying to follow this strategy: Page templates have a baked in header/footer and an unlocked Container.  This container is set to the Page Main policy. Page Main renders a <main> tag, and the only components allowed inside are Containers. The containers that are placed inside of the Page Main container receive the Dynamic Container Policy Dynamic Container Policy allows for all core components, renders as a section element, is set to Responsive Grid and has a fixed set of background colors and style variations that can be applied. There is a click event which triggers on specific dom element visibility on page load. For example it will show some random number value in page load and the value is captured in prop. Can I use the prop value in that event along with visits and visitors to see how many visitors or visits were shown with that prop value?  

We recently upgraded AEM Environment from 6.5.9 to 6.5.10, and we don't see a simple fragment coming from AEM OOTB(/libs). Is this deprecated in the latest version?  in 6.5.9, when we create content fragments below simple fragment showed up - in 6.5.10 it is not available -  

I've been unable to use Analytics at all this morning, because whenever I try navigating to Workspace or Reports, the following error shows up after a solid minute or two of loading: UI_RENDER_ERRORAn error is preventing this section from rendering. You can try refreshing the page. If the error persists, try rebuilding this section.  Is there anything I can do on my end to resolve this, or is it something that Adobe themselves have to fix?
