Hi community,   I've created an AEM Adaptive form from a form a data model. The form data model has a service that is working when I test it from the editor, however when I try to configure the action from the submit button using the rule editor the dropdown after invoke a service is always empty.   Thanks in advance for any help about this issue.   Here is the configuration:   Configuration Browser   Form Data Model   Form Data Model Test Service     Form Rule Editor        

I currently have Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, I want to be able to edit my forms and have them expand down as I enter data outside the form field size, I'm checked "Add Multi Line" and "Scroll Long Text" however that will not expand the field down the page.   What product do I require to allow this feature?

Hi everyone,   I have a problem in configuring Adobe Sign in publish instance. The configurations of the two servers are OS Red Hat Linux AEM 6.5.12 with the related forms addon pack 6.0.640 author OSGi is executed over JBOSS. publish is the "normal" crx-quickstart OSGi    For signing the documents, our adaptive forms generate a document of records from an XDP template and use the esign ("signature step") component to provide the digital signature.   We have an author instance that is configured and connected to Adobe Sign. We followed the guide at link https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-64/forms/adaptive-forms-advanced-authoring/adobe-sign-integration-adaptive-forms.html?lang=en   In the author instance we can sign the documents with the signature step component in the adaptive form with no problems at all. Our company recently transitioned to the Cloud. After doing so, the "Analyze Further" link in alert emails stopped working. Instead of going to a report to "analyze further," the link leads to the opening screen (logged in) that we see every time we go to Adobe. This is a blank grey screen with black bar at the top. We have to click on the "matrix" style button on the top right for the menu of Adobe products to drop down. I then select Adobe Analytics and it takes me to our home page in Analytics. No alert analysis. Further, when I go to manage alerts, then click on an alert I just got an alert email and text about, it says that alert would have triggered 0 times in the last 30 days. ??

We are unable to upload assets after updated from 2022.6.7904.20220629T070041Z. Is anyone facing the same issue ?

Hello, We're trying to make some changes to dispatcher for AEM as Cloud Service. I've made changes to custom vhosts and farms just to accommodate the DEV publish/dispatcher domains and test the initial dispatcher changes. These changes are working fine on local docker (per doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/local-development-environment-set-up/dispatcher-tools.html). However, when I deploy these changes to DEV (full stack deployment) via Cloud Manager, I don't see the changes being deployed. I don't see any issues on logs. How can we make sure the changes are deployed to DEV since the SSH is disabled?

Hi,   We are facing an issue. We are using the Title of assets as ALT text for pictures. The issues, According to Adobe there is no clean way to block the publication of an asset if some of the metadata aren't set. This makes the sloppy authors to forget to add these data and get a SEO hit.   Only solution so far proposed by Adobe is somehow to hide the standard publication process and buttons and have a custom workflow. From a end-user/author perspective it feels really painfull, and from a setup perspective it sounds simply overkill.   Is there a proper way to achieve that? David    

Hello everyone. I would like to know what others are using to test Launch and Adobe Analytics. I've always used Chrome Console and Adobe Experience Platform Debugger.When setting up tags in Launch, I typically use the Chrome Console tab and Network tab. Console lets me see what tags fired and Network lets me see the contents of beacons and other data. I use the debugger and usually download it to Excel to take a closer look at every beacon sent; e.g. what data was transferred in props/evars and out of the box dimensions, etc.The reason I ask is because I'm only testing in Chrome and seeing AA/Launch work in Chrome is great but what about other browsers and mobile? I don't know if tags work properly in mobile browsers and any other browser than Chrome. Is there a more robust tool that lets me test in other browsers? Any other insights would be appreciated.

Hi Community,Odd one, I have 1 specific user who is receiving 'Failed to authenticate with Adobe ID' error whenever they try and sign into our SaaS AEM Author. They have been accessing this environment all of last week, they are still in the user list, and I can impersonate them. I have signed in as myself on their device fine, I have reset their password (our aem attaches to our microsoft/adobe credentials), our Azure panel shows it as a successful login/authenticationI have tried removing their access and restoring it through the admin console. I don't know why but I just can't get this account signed back in.Any Ideas?

Hi All, I have a requirement to access the list stored in ACS Commons Generic List, then convert that list into JSON/Array in the backend and inject that JSON/Array into the page (most likely into customheaderlibs). I want to store JSON/Array in the JavaScript variable on the page. We are trying to accomplish a simple use case of Updating a content author in AEM  and content / description for the component are from an external system. We have been able to update the content authoring .  It's is a kind of the automating process of regular work in AEM, like  updating the content and publishing the pages on the regular/ daily basis. Please help me how to automate the existing content authoring work the content from external system to AEM.    How to update the content either back end way via  api or UI automation. Please suggest me a solution to automate the process of content authoring in aem.   Thanks in advance.

What is repurposing of evar variable and how it is done?

Hey team,   What is the expected behaviour when updating a lead using the REST SyncLead API (Non Bulk) and passing an empty/blank value? I was under the impression that a blank/null value for a field would ignore the current value of field while passing a string of "NULL" would clear the field.   Is that correct?   Thank you, Vlad

Hello Fellow AEM'ers   I am actually looking for approaches to customize the side rail panel in page authoring mode so that I do not want to populate the images from a particular folder in DAM.   For example in below image, you can see all the images in highlighted screen. I would like to restrict that by default for a particular folder in DAM. I know we can use Filter path, but authors will everytime have to go and select their appropriate folder. Really appreciate any help or advice here.        

We have a requirement that the authors should be able to move assets in DAM from one location to other or replace an existing asset, but should not be able to delete any assets in DAM through web or AEM desktop app. We denied permissions to "jcr:removenode" for delete to not work but move and replace are also not working. Is there a way to make this work? Hiding delete button solution is not work as we want delete to not work in AEM desktop app as well.
