Hi all,  got a question on the managing of a FTP connection.Since the data files we have to import with the Classification Importer (.tab and .fin files) should be removed after the import is processed, i wanted to ask if there is some kind of implementation to do, or it is something Adobe system does automatically. Thanks!

Hi, Hope everybody is doing well. I wanted to know if we have a way to update OSGi configs such as HTML Library manger via some API. Why API? Since in ACS we do no have access to /system/console and cannot update the immutable data(please correct if I am wrong). I only saw the mentioning of using access key method to authenticate to AWS in Adobe's documentation about AWS s3 external account: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-standard/using/administrating/application-settings/external-accounts.html?lang=en#amazon-s3-external-account.  If a workflow server runs on an AWS EC2 instance, a much easier approach to manage AWS resource access is to use EC2 isntance profile and its associated role. i.e. I'm allowed to access certain S3 resource because I am making the API call from this particular server.  I wonder if AC V7/V8 support that approach? it would be nice to avoid managing those access key and secret. Regards,Shaohong

I am working on our SDK migration and we have found that when migrating Launch to the SDK on a Single Page Application the calls for pageview and clicks are showing in the network tab, however the data is not loading into Analytics. I've confirmed that it makes it by using Processing Rules to add a custom string to the end of our Page Name variable and I am able to use the Real Time Reports and see the Page Name with my added Variable but instead of showing as "pageName - Custom" its showing as " - Custom". I can confirm that the Interact call to Adobe Analytics has the custom dimension set for the Page Name to go to its appropriate eVar with the correct value, but we are unable to see the data populating in Analytics. Is there something that I am missing for this style of implementation? We are not seeing this on our standard pages, only the Single Page Apps.

We are wanting to create a string of metadata values that will return only those wanted values as JSON. Can AEM Query builder be used to build this query or test it? If so, are there are documents around what metadata values are available?

hi , I want to know the procedure to group two or more elements of AEM component like(textfield,selectfield) to come under one title.....is it possible?.also is there any way to put separation among two fields of multifield , if so how can I achieve it? Thank youRahul

I'm currently learning AEM forms and trying to submit a simple form that sends an email after submission. The form takes a name and email address. The Day CQ Mail service is configured on my local Author instance which is where I'm testing. Any help or reasoning as to why I'm getting 'Malformed Request Syntax' is greatly appreciated. Hi all,I wanted to analyze one specific page for different segments that I created. I was curious to look at "Time Spent on Page - Bucketed", to see how long people stay on that page. Now, I have a question regarding the numbers in the orange square (see picture). For the segment in the first column, there were 224 visits in total on that page. In the numbers in the orange square, there seems to be a total of 156 (out of 224 visits). My questions:- What does this 156 mean?- Why is the remaining 68 visits left out of the time spent on page bucketed dimension?- Why do I only get a total of 156, and not all the 224 visits for "Time Spent on Page - Bucketed"?  Hope you can help me out with this 🙂

Is it possible to restrict authors from creating or editing folders in the DAM but still have full access to modify assets within folders? Including uploading, modifying metadata, moving assets, and publishing assets.We would like to create a folder taxonomy and keep it organized so that we can sync with other ingestion systems.

Good Afternoon All, I need a little help with a date calculation. What needs to happen is when the user enters a Start Date (plStartDate) and the number of DAYS the project is expected to run in the Project Length field (numProjectLength) these two fields will calculate an End Date(plEndDate). I also need the End Date to be null/empty until both the Start Date and Project Length have values which takes it from formCalc to JavaScript.At the following link is a Designer Form that has two subforms. The first one is named Contract Term (subContractTerm), and it demonstrates the working code that I DO have but it calculates by months. The second subform is named Project Length (subProjectLengthDays) and has the same three objects but I need the formula to calculate by days NOT months. Any help is appreciated. Hi All - I am working on a Project Report that displays the current tasks being worked on. The issue is that I have some "Oversight" tasks that last the full duration of the project that I want to exclude from this column. All 4 tasks contain "Oversight" so I would just need to exclude anything that contains "Oversight". This works in standard mode but not in text mode for me. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so, could you help provide direction? I have followed the WKND project tutorial and successfully build the project but the content is not showing up. Upon checking the WKDN bundle in console it shows installed but not active and I can't activate it as it has few dependency errors. I have tried few options mentioned on internet but dont have any success to it.  And upon opening the page view as published it give me error as well.

Hello, when I install a new instance of AEM 6 on local computer I modify the file "start.bat" to costumize the server port and adding debug port for it. Then I create a link to this file, for starting the instance.  At the moment I'm unable to start the instance via "start.bat" file. The error message I achive is "Can not determine process id of java.exe! No new entry present." What can I do in this situation?A restart of computer did not help. The call "java -jar .\cq-xxxxx.jar" does work, but I need to be able to debug my code with my IDE. 🙂 Thanks in advanced.

We have two groups of customers who are being emailed the same html, so it make sense to send them the same email delivery that contains this html. But we want to track the email engagement of each group separately. To achieve this we currently create two email deliveries with two different delivery labels and then load the same html into both deliveries. Is there any way to use just one email delivery but to pass through a variable for each group into the delivery label?  Thanks.
