Hi Team, We have one Cron job scheduler which creates around 100k pages in Production (weekly twice) and then we need to publish all pages. Would like to know best approach to handle this situations so that It does not impact Prod AEM instances' performance. 1) Page by page publish OR2) Create Package through APIs and then replicate. Does anyone have any experience with migrating from AEM 6.2/3 to 6.5 or cloud specifically with backward compatibility on the RightsManagementService soap endpoint and the function protectDocument? Is there any documentation on version history or and first hand experiences that could help our upgrade journey? Thanks in advance

Hi guys, I am new to AEP/RT-CDP and my organization is implementing RT-CDP for the first time. The question I have is what is the release process from building something in the dev sandbox and then releasing it to production? Do I need to manually export XDM Schemas, Source and Destination configurations (if possible) etc, and import it into production default instance? The requirement from our release team is to have at least 2 non-prod environments, build stuff on dev, test it on second instance and then release it to production. I couldn't find any documentation that shows how to do this. Any help will be highly appreciated 🙂 thanks,Adeel

Hi all I'm trying to categorise leads based on where a field value came from. We have a field for Marketing Opt In = True, that was populated by various sources - form fill, import etc.   I can look in the Activity Log and see the detail of fields selected in a Fill Out Form activity stamp - I just can't find a way to accurately reverse this to create a Smart List to group by 'Marketing Opt-In field Source is Form Fillout'?   I know how to use a smart campaign to categorise as future updates happen, but is there a way to search backwards in time?  Thanks

Hi All, I have a requirement to move asset/s from one path (/content/dam/sourcePath) to (/content/dam/dest) path.I am planning to use asssetManager.moveAsset(..) operation from com.adobe.granite.asset.api.AssetManager API.Ref.https://www.adobe.io/experience-manager/reference-materials/6-5/javadoc/com/adobe/granite/asset/api/AssetManager.htmlConsidering the AEM's newer architecture(AEM CS), is this the right way to implement asset move functionality? If I have to go with given API, how does assetManager.moveAsset operation works for already published assets, whether I need to unpublish it first and then invoke moveAsset operation or it will internally first unpublish it and then perform asset move?Any suggestions please..Thanks

Hello, Ever since the Apple Mail Privacy Protection was made available on September 20th 2021, it appears to have significantly impacted our 'Unique Opens' reporting numbers. As we understand it, Apple preloads the email content regardless if the user actually opens the email or not. This appears to be inappropriately inflating our metrics. Are others experiencing this same situation? Has Adobe or any of you come up with a way to exclude these? Thank you!Robbie

Hello CommunityI am looking to create a typology rule to block sending 2 emails with the same subject sent to the same recipient within 24 hours.I have tried using pressure rules but this one blocks all deliveries to be sent to recipients. I am working in Custom forms today and just noticed that the check box field and the drop down list field and likely others no longer let you re-sort them manually by dragging and dropping - only alpha sort through options. Is there another way to do this? Prior to the update you could grab a line item in the list and move it up for down depending on your own organizational method - now it appears it is locked as written or only sort alpha. Anyone see a workaround?

We're tracking our site with a Launch Script and Adobe Analytics. We're seeing a (relatively) small number of instances where that domain is coming up in the exit link report. In the suite setup, we're including the domain on the "internal url filters" list - as domain.com (there are several subdomains being tracked in that suite).In the Launch/Data Collection property, using the Adobe Analytics extension, we have checked "track outbound links" but haven't added anything in "Never Track" options.Again, it's a small number - its not like every internal link is also reporting as an exit link. Would launching in a new window create an exit link?Any other suggestions on troubleshooting?thanks

Is it possible to extract a blank file with headers only using the File Extraction activity?

AEM build time is a signficant problem,as it takes 1-2 hours for each of our 5 envs, and you cant deploy a built artifiact from one end (e.g. dev) into another (e.g. test).  We have always done a full stack build, but I notice there is a front end build only. As AEM has front end (react etc) and backend (java, osgi files etc) in one repo, how does the bild process know if it should built font end only, or full stack? Presumably its unsafe to do FE, in case someone changed something in the backend.

I'm trying to explore this new activity in V8 and while doing testing, I observed that the workflow is running without using Change data source activity. Below is the scenario that I was testing:Created one schema in local and one in Cloud. Queried both schemas and intersected on email address field, which is the common field for both, keeping the primary set as cloud schema. Based on below documentation:"Case 1 - Duplicated recipients with the same UUID and same profile information (same email, first name, etc.) : the recipients look like “real” duplicates and mitigation could be to just remove one of the duplicates." Since UUID is created in Adobe or Snowflake whenever a record is inserted, each record in the schema would be having a different UUID. So, how can two recipient records have same UUID?

I'm joining a large project that is in the process of updating components and templates to 6.5. Its been difficult to tell what has and hasn't been updated without reviewing the code of each file. My thoughts are to start documenting each component with a readme as its updated. Each would have whats completed, whats remaining, and any additional notes that may be important to the update process. Like listing any dependencies or bugs that need to be addressed before it can be completed. It may not be as helpful at the sling model package level but using javadocs and todos would be a good way to track the process. This feels like it would be helpful for current and future devs. What are your thoughts on doing this?

Hello, looking for some feedback/thoughts on how I might build a particular custom segment. The business question is, how many visitors did X event action once, twice, thrice, etc in a 12 month period? We have a custom variable for this event and has an instance counter that I can pair with it as well. Let's say John comes to our site and clicks on this particular button in March, then does this again in October. Mary and Frank (2 different visitors) come to our site and do the same actions in March, August, and December. David comes to our site and does this action once in October. I'm thinking "Visitor Number" correlated with the segment would give me what I'm looking for, so with the examples above in mind, I'd want my freeform output would look something like this: Visit Number 1 = 1Visit Number 2 = 1Visit Number 3 = 2  I have tried a few different things within segment builder but I'm not too confident with them yet.
