where can i download aem 6.5 developer's guide from??

I was trying to download an asset folder from content DAM to my local. When i tried to look at the files( the downloaded file sub folders names are messed upactual name /content/dam/folder/subfolder downloaded name /content/dam/folder/Subfolder with a capital S instead of a lower case s. 

Hi, I am trying to create a runmode configuration for OOB Guide Localizaton Service.I have created the sling:OsgiConfig node inside the config folder of my project as "com.adobe.aemds.guide.service.GuideLocalizationService"  and added both the multivalue properties"Localizable Properties"  and "supportedLocales"but the configuration is not getting binded.Is anybody having idea why existing configuration is not getting updated 

Hello everyone, I am setting a cookie with _satellite.cookie.set(digitalData,digitalData); Basically I am thinking of storing the digitalData in th cookie, ONLY for authenticated users and re-use it where I need, by using _satellite.cookie.get. My question is, how to read the digitalData json ? For instance, how can i read  digitalData.user.customerId from the json cookie?Thanks

We have a requirement to download the workflow every quarterly for audit purposes. The client is happy with the workflow report generated by the console. We need to add one more tab for the comment section that the author adds during workflow initiation. I cannot download the report from this console, is there any way i can download this from aem instance? I am also gone through the acs-commons report section to download the below reports as CSV format. Is it possible for us to download the workflow report from this console, and is there any specific reason for acs-commons not added workflow report here? Please advice 

Hello, I have to extend the existing implementation of com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.internal.models.v2.PageImpl, because I have to provide an additional css class to getCssClassNames method based on some settings in page properties. But its not possible to extend this class because this class is in the "internal" package. And as I know this will not be exported to other OSGi bundles. For me this means, I have to copy the code from v2.PageImpl and v1.PageImpl and all other used classes which are also in "internal" package to my project. In my opinion this kind of implementation of core components does not make any sense, because it blocks developers to reuse existing code. Or does somebody have a solution for this problem? regardsReini

Hi there, I have uploaded the csv and created a lit in Adobe Campaign. All are Known Profiles , however i don't have the State column in the list but there is in database. Is there a way, i can have State from the primary Database ( Recipient nms) and map against the read list to find out what email belongs to what state? Please advise, Thanks in advance.

I want to create segments that will help to determine the customer journey and funnel success.Traditional marketing model/journey that identifies visits from awareness to consideration, research, intent etc. Does anyone have any advice/template/resources for what out of the box dimensions to use to create such segments?Even if nobody has a template, I’d appreciate some ideas on how others would approach this and things to consider. thanks.

We have below requirement /etc/design/* has to be shown on publisher content pages instead of /apps/settings/wcm/designs/* added   URL Mapping like /apps/settings/wcm/designs/</etc/designs/  on org.apache.sling.jcr.resource.internal.JcrResourceResolverFactoryImpl config.But Not working, Can I get inputs if am missing anything here

Hello, I am contributor / Author to AEM6.5 (Im not superuser). I have 2000+ documents/ resources on 150+ web pages. These documents are scattered in DAM in different folders. I want  to tag these documents with 9 country tags. (Japan/ Thailand/ South Korea) etc. Is there any tool / or any way to bulk update / Automate the process ?If not, I will need to tag each document manually. Main reason of automation is, we have 2000+ product pages for each country and we work in 167 countries. Hence manually working on it is impossible.  

Hello Team, We have a requirement where we there are few product detail pages which needs to secured for some sensitive authoring which shouldn't be know to many till go-live. Step wise details below: Suppose standard we -retail MSM structure is followed and we have a product detail page like /content/xyz/language-masters/en/products/product1 . There also exists a published livecopy of the same as /content/xyz/us/en/product1.htmlNow there is some sensitive content to be added on the page which only 1 or 2 page in the organization are authorized of. Also the regular content authoring on language-master, translation , rollout should continue to happen as is.Now 1 way can be to utilize the AEM launch feature but then translation cant be achieved and also issues with maintaining permissions. Is there any high level solution to this requirement ? Hi ,Although we have indexes (property,lucene ) defined for most of the queries,  few of the indexes are going in traversal For Ex : On Restart of AEM  *WARN* [Apache Sling Repository Startup Thread] org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.search.spi.query.FulltextIndex$FulltextPathCursor Index-Traversed 140000 nodes with filter Filter(query=SELECT * FROM [nt:base] WHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE([/content]) AND [cq:master] IS NOT NULL, path=/content//*, property=[cq:master=[is not null]]) Therefore it's taking a long time for restart. OOTB ntBaseLuceneNumdocs count - 5725504/oak:index/ntBaseLucene Property Field Info - /oak:index/ntBaseLucene cq:master 165543But logs we see it's going for Index-Traversed although we have index defined. What is the reason for Index Traversal ? This is happening for lower numdocs indexes also. How do we fix this ?

I was working on deleting few rendition for DAM assets and i ended up deleting the original rendition of it .Is it possible to recover it back ? I tried seeing if there is a version for it ,when i tried to revert it to the previous version it fails with Error while restoring version: Failed to lookup Asset version with ID [ 738c5ace-b0d2-4f00-9d47-265b4fab9b00 ]. 

In your implementation, do you:Use generic success events and create calculated metrics for specific conversions using an eVar? (e.g. 1 eVar tied to 1 form fill completion event and utilize calculated metrics to get total events by form version)Create a unique success event per set variable? (e.g. 1 eVar tied to multiple form completion events, one for each version of the form)A mix of both?What are the advantages and disadvantages you find in the method you use? I know for example we have to create a unique calculated metric for each attribution model we'd like to use, rather than being able to set that easily in the workspace table or use the Attribution IQ tool. Also, calculated metrics are not available in Data Warehouse so we need to use segmentation and do extra cleanup on the file. But, unique success events are more work on the implementation side. Any others?

Hi Everyone, We are using adobe launch to implement third party tags such as facebook,twitter, linkedIN etc. We are seeing this rule not met (these rules are meant for different page) is firing and causing performance issue to the site. How do we avoid this firing in other pages.Thanks,Pradeep

I am using User Engagement (clicks)(v10) to see what visitors click on a webpage. However, each link/button come as a long text form (see following picture) that make it so hard to understand which particular link/button is it on the webpage.  Is there a way to relabel these long text form to something else more simple and easier to read?  

I just realized a strange behaviour - let's assume the problem is sitting in front of the desktop ...nevertheless, maybe someone else has the same issue. What happened? I just upgraded npm packages and aio to latest versions and tried the "aio app run --local" as usual. What I see looks as if there is some deployment similar to "aio app deploy" for some of the files, especially the "manifest.yml". not only takes it a lot longer to build my local files, it also looks quite different than before. did something change in the build process?But the most confusing part: I had an app up and running in the same environment (I used "aio app deploy" before) with a schedule to run every hour. after the uprade the hourly scheduled stopped working ... I checked the "aio runtime activation list" without seeing any error. I assume that the last "aio app run -- local" uploaded the manifest.yml and stopped the trigger ...happy to provide more information and get response if somebody has similar is

Greetings,This is my first post and I am a novice with javascript and form calc, but I have a form with a dynamic, expanding table with a sum field at the end. I've got everything working they way I'd like, but the person I'm developing this for wants to see a field be automatically populated with the maximum value from this field. I'm at a loss and would really appreciate the help. Again, I am new here. Is there a way I can post the form for someone to review? Thanks!

when looking at the api   https://developers.marketo.com/javascript-api/forms/api-reference/#:~:text=.submit()   there does not seem to be a way to fail?   I probably have  a way to fail safely before as I run a catpcha verification before submission, so if that fails, I just reopen the form.   use case is that I prevent double submission of forms by disabling the submit after a user submits. Now if connection drops, or connection is bad, and believe there is bad routers / isp spotty internetz submission can fail, but now the users cannot resubmit even if getting internet again.   as said I can work around it probably via the catpcha verification... just asking
