Hello All, I am new to AEM. I have set up AEM author and publish instances and able to deploy aem-guides-wknd repository using maven successful. The issue I have is with eclipse. I have installed aem plugin. When I open the aem-guides-wknd project, i get the following error and also do not see jcr-nodes properties in eclipse. I am on the following environment. I think I need to convert the app.ui and app.content project to content type projects in eclipse, but i am not sure how. When i go to configure on particular projects, I do not get the options to make those projects as content projects. Maven 3.6.3Eclipse 2020.06Java 11.08AEM 6.5AEM Tools ...p2update-1.3.0. Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks

I want to  install DAM package on one AEM environment, but before that , I want to clean entire DAM assets safely. What are the ways to delete and clear DAM safely.

We have recently integrated AEM 6.5.5 with SAML based SSO. Able to login to AEM, with SSO authentication. Users have been requesting that many of the missing Report Suite/Admin API (v1.4) become available in the I/O Console (as v2.0 API). Hello,I'm trying to use AEM Forms addInstance() method inside a MasterPage to instantiate multiple times, via a for loop, a subform (placed outside the Master Page). The result is that it calls the document multiple times, it goes into an infinite loop. Is it not possible to use addInstance() in this way in a MasterPage??

I'd like to personalize my website where the hero heading of my homepage will dynamically change if the visitor clicks on one of my paid advertisements on Google. For example, suppose my paid ad contains :"New Cars - Compare Specs, Pricing & MPG", similar to this paid advertisement by ford. If the visitor clicks on my paid advertisement, I'd like to build a personalized experience where the title of the paid ad is used as the heading of my hero banner on my homepage. Would this be feasible? If so, how would I go about developing this experience?

Hi All, I'm trying to modify the existing layout container component by adding a dialog field which is a drop down through which author will be able to choose the number of columns. So , if author drag and drop the component he should be able to configure the dialog so he can switch between the number of columns, author wants the layout container to be divided into 2, 3, or 4 whatever he selects in dialog to stretch as per the grid layout. Hi All, Can someone please help me with creating gif image renditions in AEM6.5? I tried creating renditions using custom code but all it creates is static images, animation effect is no longer present. Hi Everyone, I am deploying the AEM Forms 6.5 on Redhat Linux 7.6 and Jboss EAP 7.1.4. When I trying to deploy the mandatory .ear on jboss server.The follow .ear files are able to deploy – adobe-livecycle-native-jboss-[OS].ear– adobe-workspace-client.ear– adobe-livecycle-cq-author.ear– adobe-assembler-ivs.ear– (optional) adobe-output-ivs-jboss.ear However the the follow .ear cannot be deploy and show errors– adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear The following error is copy from the adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear.failed.I am quite new to the AEM so can anyone let me know how to fix this error? And I am not sure what is the 'EJBObject'? Can anyone let me know what is it? Thank you. 

Hi Anyone has experience or has any idea why two shared value from two table cannot be joined even after removing all spacing and turning everything into uppercase in the Enrichment? The intersection kept returning 0 even if the shared values are obviously the same from the interim results. Any suggestion is appreciated.

Hi, I have a custom form for issues. I would like to list the users' manager on that form so I can display it in a report later on. I've tried using CONCAT(submittedBy.manager), and a bunch of variations on that as well. Nothing is working as all of them are saying "Custom Expression Invalid". Can someone point me in the right direction? TX

Hi  I was looking at the Decibel Insights extension and it does not seem to allow any whatsoever dynamic data elements configuration in order to use different account / property values for different pages. The input fields do not allow the use of % values. Has anyone been dealing with this use case and can point me to a working solution of this problem?Alternatively I could probably also integrate the script myself but would then lose the built-in events CheersBjörn

Hi,   We have connected Marketo to our 3rd party platform and we are doing a Bulk import to Marketo via REST API.  Now, when a user is deleted from this 3rd party app, how can I flag Marketo about the deleted record and eventually delete it from the Marketo database. Currently, the script is running nightly to update, if any new records are added to our platform and a lead is created in Marketo.   We need to catch all the deleted leads via this API or some other method and delete it from our DB.   Thanks.
