Hi, Just want to check how frequency setup will work once user clears the browser cookies. Let's say, if i set the frequency as 5 to limit the no.of times view user qualify for the segment based on analytics value. If user viewed 5 times, then user should drop out of the segment. When we have this setup "clear cookies every time when i close the browser".. How the frequency setup will work? Will it remove the remove the user after 5 times if we have profile merge rule setup as " Thanks

I have the below requirement: Suppose when the end user enters http://abc-123.co.in , the rewrite rule should be set in such a way that the URL is internally expanded to its home page full URL say http://abc-123.co.in/en/home.html but the full URL should not be visible on the address bar to the end user but rather be seen as http://abc-123.co.in (with .html extension and repo structure upto 'home' removed). How do we set up a rewrite rule for this? Similarily, when the end user clicks on say, http://abc-123.co.in/en/home/about-us.html from the home page, again the full URL should not be visible to the end user but rather be seen as http://abc-123.co.in/about-us (with .html extension and repo structure upto 'home' removed). How do we set up a rewrite rule for this?

Hello,I'm using AEM6.0 with SP3.In javascript we are loading part of the transation with CQ.I18n.getMessage method./libs/cq/i18n/dict.en_us.json returns only custom translation, but /libs/cq/i18n/dict.de_de.json in additional to our custom translation returns also AEM OOTB translations.How I can prevent this for publish instance?Thank you in advance

Anyidea How to hide the workflow models for certain groups or a user in AEM 6.5?runtime workflows are updated in /var/workflow/models,In useradmin console I am unble to set permission to specific workflow model because workflowmodel is in /var/workflow/model is xml file and NOT havingmixnTypes: rep:AccessContrallable property.Adding the system tag to workflowmodel hides the workflow model for all users but to specific groupmy use case is I want hide workflow name in the dropdown option in starworkflow when specific group members trigger workflow

Hi there,I am trying to populate a custom field with a variable depending on the datetime in a field we have synced from Salesforce. Depending on the date of the Salesforce field, I want the custom field to populate with a specific string, these are different depending on the week.For some reason this flow step is not working as I would suspect and I think it is due to the datetime field not reading as between these dates. The flow step I have set up is as follows:The choices follow on as this so that each lead within each week increment gets a new value. The Segmentation Datetime field also reverts to having "12:00" at the end which I don't want (as I just want leads within these 2 dates inclusive) - I am not sure if this is the cause of my problems.During testing I could not get the flow to work with separate dates and all leads reverted to choice 1. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi,I can see the Move option for Moving page is disable in TouchUi (sites.html) while in classic UI (siteadmin) it is working as expected in AEM 6.3 and AEM6.5 maybe from product side. what is the best way to enable Move option in TouchUi?which will be compatible with all scenario, not sure maybe we can overlay some node. not sure about approachDid anyone getting the same issue? Thank you @kautuk_sahni  @arunpatidar

I have installed AEM 6.5 Author in an RHEL 7 instance and it has started successfully. However, when I run the ./status script, it provides the below output: 09.04.2020 08:10:38.450 *INFO * [main] Setting sling.home=. (command line)09.04.2020 08:10:38.458 *INFO * [main] Sent 'status' to /127.0.0.1:46738: OK Can you please help me understand as to why the 'status' is being sent to 127.0.0.1 localhost rather than to the IP address of the RHEL instance?

Hello!I am a new user/developer in ACS and I am trying to create a transactional message on the ACS Sandbox, I was able to create an Event and configure it to have a few fields, So I was trying to set up the REST API in Postman to make the POST requests for the Transactional Messages, but I got stuck in the authorization part. I am not sure where I can find the password for the Basic Auth. I am not sure if I can use another way of authorization and which that would be.Please let me know if anyone can help.Thank you!

Hello, I have read many articles and posts on the differences between marketing channels and tracking codes, but I am still trying to figure out which report I should be looking at in regards to the revenue.  If I simply want to know which channels bring in the most revenue would I be looking at marketing channels, and tracking codes if I want to look at how campaigns are performing?  Thank you!

I am trying to allow a user to define a local variable in a web form and then pass that variable (offer label, start date, end date) into a table (list with group) in order to filter the table by the variable.  It seems like this should exist in the UI but i can't find a way to align the table fields with the variables.  Does anyone know a way to accomplish this either in the web form interface or via JS?

I have created a new instance on the same server(tools --> Advanced --> Declare a new instance). The config-<new instance>.xml got created inside the conf directory. How can I connect to the new instance from the client console? A new connection cannot be added because the server URL will be same as the both the instances are on the same server.

Hoping to find answers here. New user of AEM and trying to learn more about this feature. I'm trying to find examples of use case for this feature. I understand that you can create relationships between assets, source/derived and such but what does the end user see or can do with this feature? I'm looking for solution to versions of an asset. Replacing a old asset with a new asset because of changes made. Or... If 2 assets are related to one another, what is the search result? Will both assets show up when only one is searched?What about downloading? How does the related assets behave when one is downloaded or used? Will both be used because they are related?

Hello All We are extending the Generic Lists provided in ACS Commons package. The current Generic Lists form is built using MCP package where we can define fields using annotations. But its not clear how to manage the sequence of the fields in this package. The form is built with random sequence of form fields. Can it be controlled? Also how we can validations to these fields? MCP package does not have a annotation or options to add validation. Please help Ganesh

Hi, I have a scenario where the customer is on AEM 6.4 and using normal rendition creation process(Dam update asset workflow). Dam size is around 1.6 TB. The customer has procured Dynamic Media recently and want to migrate all their assets to dynamic media. Per Adobe documentation   "Dynamic Media - Scene7 mode", should be considered. But I did not find any answers to following questions.  Post enabling Dynamic media, how all the assets which are present in AEM shall be ported to Dynamic media for 1st time?(Do we need the source Images to be pushed to Scene 7 or is there a feature to configure S7 to pull the images from AEM on the first request).Does the existing renditions shall be propagated to dynamic media?What approach shall be considered  to delete the existing renditions  and do we need to execute offline compaction post deleting the existing renditions.  Would really appreciate any kind of inputs here. 

I have two aem 6.3 instances, called cq1 and cq2, they have same content and assets. When I tried xpath query on cq1 with /jcr:root/content//*[jcr:contains(@fileReference, 'xxx.png' )]I can get correct results. When I tried same query on cq2, for some assets I can't get any result for other I just can get some old references, can't see any new's.But if I change the query to /jcr:root/content//*[(@fileReference = 'xxx.png' )] it will return correct results. I want know why I can not get correct result when I using "jcr:contains" in my query. ※instance restarting does not solve this problem.  Issue solved by re-index.
