Hi, I'm using offline data in Audience Manager, and have a data source and corresponding ID sync set up using the setCustomerID function. I would like to use the same data for reporting in Analytics, and am trying to set it up in Customer Attributes. My initial thought was that since I'm already sending the customer ID to the ECID tag with setCustomerID, I can just use the same integration code and upload a file. Trying to do so in the Customer Attributes interface returns an error however, saying a data source with this alias already exists in Audience Manager. So what is the best practice here - should I need to set it up with a different integration code, and send two separate setCustomerID calls when my users authenticate? Or can I somehow stop this Customer Attribute source being created in Audience Manager, so I could get away with using the ID sync I already have?

We have custom survey button's in our emails built using Personalization block (below is the screen shot).  When user click either of these survey button's, we need to capture which button user clicked in the email and pass that information to a Web App to save data and show Thank you page based on the user's language. Also each button has separate link options, Is there any we can capture the button click ?

Hi all, in serverConf.xml file syslogd limit is set to 10MB per file but our inMail_2.log currently have around 1GB.Bouncing records are generated frequently. Bouncing working fine, but there is a lot of error records in the middle of picture below. Connection to POP3 in deployment wizard is ok (when Test button hit).  Any suggestion how to resolve this bounce error or to limit file to 10MB? Regards,Milan

Hello,Ours is a hybrid installation. We are using the decryptString function to decrypt PII data. In the Preview mode the variables are decrypted successfully and the actual data is shown, but when we send out a proof or an email the variables are all empty. For some reason the mid sourcing server is not able to handle these functions. This worked fine when using own mail servers to send emails. Has any one come across this issue? Are there any setting in the mid server that have to be changed? ThanksSree

We would like to see budget numbers for things like revenue that are forecasted by our financial team in Adobe to see how well we are doing YoY and against budget. These budget items are only specific to a monthly total and broken out by customer types. I would think there would be a way to import an excel sheet with a month/year column and a revenue column to map to a "Budget Revenue" metric?

Hello, I have a geo-location campaign where an indiv can be assigned multiple venues based on distance to it and the date of the event.  If an indiv is assigned 5 or more events over a period of time, how can I ignore venue 1 and shift the other venues down or if there is a specific venue I want to ignore?Venue_1 - 123Venue_2 - 456Venue_3 - 789 (example: I would want to ignore Venue_1 and have it appear that Venue_2 is now 1)

Trying to build a report table show Opens / Clicks using something similar to the recipient delivery log 'RowId'  Have built workflow using BroadLog, TrackingLog & Recipient tables, and complimentary data: RowId(GetDate([delivery/broadLogRcp/eventDate])).... but this generates the RowId of the BroadLog, not the Recipient Broad Log. I'm just trying to build a table something like the following:  1st email recipients receivedopensclicks2nd email recipients receivedopensclicks3rd email recipients receivedopensclicks  All recipients have received different emails 1st, 2nd and 3rd depending on when they subscribed. 

Hi, In update data activity, I'm getting below error:ODB-240000 ODBC error: [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Argument data type smallint is invalid for argument 1 of substring function. SQLState: 37000 Here source field has short datatype and destination has string datatype.Using ToString(), I tried to convert short to string but its not working. Please let me know how to resolved the issue. Thanks

My use case is - when an asset is uploaded to Brand Portal, I want to run a workflow on the asset before it gets synced to AEM. Is there any mechanism available in Brand Portal? I don't see that in the documentation and also on the portal. Other option that I'm evaluating is I/O events. Are there any I/O events available for Brand Portal?  The last option i'm evaluating is - i will let the assets sync to AEM from Brand Portal and then trigger a workflow on AEM. Thanks,Rahul

I am currently shortening the URL by using sling:mapping, this is working fine for regular non secure HTTP requests. Ex:sling:internalRedirect - /content/partner/en/$1.htmlsling:match - partner.test.com.80/(.*)The following example has no problem redirecting to the proper page. So if I got to http://partner.test.com/home it will go to the home page for me. Now I have an SSL cert for the same domain but when I try to create a mapping for https it won't redirect at all. Ex:sling:internalRedirect - /content/partner/en/$1.htmlsling:match - partner.test.com.5443/(.*)Where 5443 is the SSL port defined by granite in the system config. Then when I try navigating to https://partner.test.com/home it will return an error that the page doesn't exist. Although when I go to the direct path like https://partner.test.com/partner/home.html it will work no problem. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get this URL shortening working with https / ssl connections

Hi all, We have a 'Data Loading' activity in our workflow and when we tried to upload a CSV file from local to the server, we encountered the following error. What could be the cause and is this something we can fix?

So in the office we have a discussion about what the specific result of a 1 cardinality simple link is. It would be awesome to have someone elses take on this.   The ACS documentation (https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/campaign-standard/using/developing/adding-or-extending-a-resource/configuring-the-resource-s-data-structure.html) states that there are 3 different link-types: "1 cardinality simple link : one occurrence of the source table can have at most one corresponding occurrence of the target table.N cardinality collection link : one occurrence of the source table can have several corresponding occurrences of the target table, but one occurrence of the target table can have at most one corresponding occurrence of the source table.0 or 1 cardinality simple link : one occurrence of the source table can have at most one corresponding occurrence of the target table or none. Note that this kind of Link type can cause performance issue."

Hello, was there recently a change in Adobe Analytics? For Example I frequently used the "Page" Dimension and I got a list of all my Pages.But I applied on that a Page URl Segment like https://www.***.com/path1/path2/After that I only got a list of Pages within this URL. This was just like an Area/Page Level tracking.I did not change the segment and now it does show randomly more pages that are not related to a specific path.So before it showed pages that are within a specific area of the website.I know that there is a function for Area/Page Level tracking but we don't use this feature.Can anyone explain this?Thank you.

Hi everyone,I am trying to set up a daily process to retrieve all of our unsubscribes from the activity batch export. However, when I specify the activity ids that I want, the batch is ignoring them and returning the full data set. We are creating a new Lead Scoring Program, but we would like to accommodate for changes in jobs by wiping out the score value for the previous job title, and assigning the  score value for the new job title category.  there are only 4 categories for which we are referring to here.  i tried adding a "-" negative in front of the token, but that didn't seem to work.  Any ideas?
