Google play store requires us to go to API 28 by Nov 1st. We have been running API 26 with Adobe Mobile Library 4.13.6. We recently updated the App to API 28 and the Adobe Mobile Library to 4.17.9 and deployed. Once our users started to download the updated App, Adobe Analytics reporting for Android users tanked. After some research, we found that Android 9.0 + users who downloaded the App were no longer tracked. Users that download our upgraded App using Android 8 and below were present and accounted for in Adobe Analytics. We rolled back the App to API 26  including the Adobe mobile Library and all is good, but we are approaching Nov 1st and need to resolve this issue. Are there other changes we need to make to the App for this upgrade?

I've setup a recommendations campaign to show most recently viewed devices on the website. It works when I view a few devices and go to home page. But when I view a few more devices and go back to homepage the list is not being updated with the recently viewed device. Is this how the default functionality is configured to work or am I doing something wrong ? Can you please help ?Thanks,Vikas

Thanks in advance for considering my question.I am new to AEM and need to add JSON-LD scripts to various pages to deploy structured data following the Schema.org protocols.  I have done this in other platforms fairly easily but didn't notice a best practice for AEM.  Another option is to use Launch (formerly DTM), but that's less than ideal as I will have to get others involved.  Anyone have tips or resources to point me in the right direction?Thanks,John

Hi everyone, I need to add a button in the asset toolbar (image below), what I'm trying to do is trigger a page like the "manage publication" button does (open a new page with options to run a workflow.), create a custom wizard.As a test I'm tried copy the button on "/libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/actions/selection" and copy to the path "/apps/dam/gui/content/assetdetails/jcr:content/actions/testButton" (where my button is), but is not working.Im a little lost with this process.I have not found documentation of this case.Also, my other question is the right direction to create the steps (page) that will trigger the button.Is better to create manually the page adding nodes directly to the CRXDE or should I create a site and link the page to the action button?.Thanks in advance!

Hi,It's surprising that there is no First name and last name field from RT event table. So I decided to extend the RT event table by adding First name and Last name field to map the data from the SOAP API. I don't want to map the data from CTX as it's difficult to export the CTX data to CSV .I used <%= rtEvent.firstName %> in HTML to populate the first name from SOAP call, however, when I receive the email, it says this field is "undefined". Has anyone has successfully populated the fields from the extended RT event table?Thanks,Jason

Hi,Recently, in Analysis Workspace scheduled reports we have noticed that page name based, out of box, dimensions (page, exit page etc.) are populated with incorrect values (unspecified) and there is discrepancy in metric numbers as well. The dimension and metric numbers are not getting updated even on refreshing the project.Only on drag and drop of the dimension (ex. exit page vs occurrences), the report data gets updated and we no longer see "unspecified" in the report.Has anyone else been facing such issue with workspace scheduled reports? Hi,I would like to upload 500GB of assets from my local filesystem to AEM server running in AMS. I have been asked to use CSV Asset Importer for bulk updates.But while I click on import assets, it says "Could not find any asset entries that can be processed Scroll down to see details.". I think it is because the file is in my local system. The csv has absolute path with reference to my local system. Is there a way to upload images from local system to Remote AEM server using CSV Importer ? Hi,I have extended custom recipient table and have few other custom tables.I have zipped input file(which has data in excel sheet corresponding to one of the table) whose data is to be imported into say (custom recipient table).I am aware of using Data loading activity to import an excel file present on local folder on system[windows OS] into campaign and put that data into the table. But not sure how it is to be done, when it is zipped and provided.Campaign version 7.0.8863Any pointers/thoughts on this will be helpful. Let us know, in case additional details required.

Hi all,I've a question: I'm using scene7 with my company account, we need to use next gen images format.I've a problem with fmt=JPEG2000, the picture returned form scene7 is too big in terms of file size. The same picture with the old jpeg format take about 1/10 of the jpeg2000 file size.If I set the quality parameter to get the picture with approximately same weight (around 100KB) for pictures in jpeg and jpeg2000 formats, the one in old jpeg format is better shown then the other in jpeg2000.I'me confused, the next gen formats are been made to have pictures with better quality at less size. Hi there,I'm hoping someone can help explain this which I came across when playing around with Adobe Analytics Workspace.When viewing the "headline metrics" of visits, Entries, Bounces, Bounce Rate and Unique visitors, I noticed that across the same date range there can be a difference in the totals, depending on whether I use the dimension of 'Page' or 'Day'.
