Hi all,a web service is returning JSON response like this example:  {"name" : "Milan", "tool": "ACM", "reason": "This is a " test"} You may see the extra double quotes (marked red above) which are causing error. This JSON is properly escaped when is send from server (with one backslash) but after is received in ACM it is lost, therefore I need another one for JavaScript. I tried str.replace function but this escape all double quotes which is not suitable for me. Also, I tried some things with JSON.stringify() and JSON.parse() but without success.Do you have any idea how to resolve this?Thanks,Milan

I have a PDF form which was created using Live Cycle ES 9.0. I'm trying to access and fill this PDF using .Net with the help of Spire.PDF library and able to access all field expect few auto generated field.  This auto generated fields will be add in the next row by clicking on add button but field name for all newly generated fields are  same, because of this when i'm trying to access fields using Spire.PDF it is displaying only one field for all newly added fields. Also i'm unable to edit this fields, but i'm able to edit fields which are having unique field names.Please help me with below questions:1. To create auto generated fields with unique names I have to edit this PDF form. For this design modification can I use Live Cycle ES 9.0 or I need to migrate my PDF to AEM. In case of migration, can I migrate existing PDF or I need design it from scratch.2. Any .Net support libraries that support AEM generated form.3. HiAccording to this document Adobe Experience Manager Help | Supporting new locales for adaptive forms localization you need to follow the steps to add a custom language.It works in AEM Forms 6.3 but in AEM Forms 6.4 the path of etc/clientlibs/fd/xfaforms is changed to the libs folder and the documentation isn't updated with version 6.4. Also overlay the libs doesn't seems to work.My question, how we need to implement it into 6.4, what are the steps to add a custom language to a form.SincerelyChristofhe De Bock

Just like any other database when adding columns to a huge table we are having issues if number fields is defaulted to zeros, because it is trying to update the existing records. Please let me now how we can enforce the nulls to numeric fields instead of default property.

I see the document for ACC has details for capacity rules, but what about ACS? Is there only the option for fatigue, which would be at the recipient level and not an overall email send cap per day? I have a request to cap the amount of unique deliveries being sent per day. Before we go down a different path to make this happen, is there a built in mechanism to replicate the capacity functionality from ACC?

I’m using aem 6.2 and for the Multifield I’m using following ACS commons nested multifield and I’m able to save multifield data in JSON way. I've wrote a listener on dialog but when I try to get the value of multifield fields on dialog save, the field value just disappears in debug mode and don’t get any value. However, if I don’t use acs commons multifield approach then logic on dialog save works fine and able to get the value. Please lemme know if there’s any workaround that I can use the acs commons nested field and still get the values of it on dialog save. Thanks

Hi All,I have a launcher set the path to /content/dam/xyz for the events created and modified. Launcher is getting triggered correctly for the newly uploaded assets. And, when there is any modification done on any of the existing assets or on the assets metadata launcher is getting which is also fine. But whenever any asset is published, this action is considered as modified event and launcher is triggering the workflow. Because of this, the last modified time is after the last published time.This is marking assets as outdated. So we have decided to disable the launcher to tackle outdated assets issue. But there is a scenario where when we try to replace an existing asset, since we don’t have the launcher for the modified event, Updated asset is not showing up on the DAM,(if I download the asset I was able to see the updated one). If I add the path /content/dam/xyz for the modified event, again the assets will be marked as outdated.Thanks in advance.

Hi,Is there a way in AEM that you can cusomise the delete dialog for a component?What I'm am aiming to do is to detect if there is a content reference to the component that is about to be deleted.  And would like to display in the delete dialog itself a list of paths where it is being reference elsewhere on the site.  Thus the user can decide if the delete is a wise choice or not.I have managed to hook into the 'beforedelete' in the 'EditListenersConfig', but that will only trigger when the 'delete' button is pressed.  So not ideal.Thanks,David Miller

Folks, we've been using Omniture for years and we were receiving nice geolocation reports until we put our B2B sites behind a proxy.   So now all of our business customers access the site through the proxy, and since they all appear as coming from the same IP address, the geolocation reports have become rather boring.I've seen conflicting ideas as to how to resolve this, and I would be thrilled if someone could chime in and let me know what worked for them.Seems like we can enable the X-Forwarded-For header on the webseal proxy and then Omniture *should* pick it up automatically.However, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2328123 suggests that it doesn't work,On the other hand, https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/analytics/audiences/audiences.pdf suggests that it does work.The second link says "Analytics will have already parsed the incoming X-Forwarded-For header and determined the correct IP address to use."Jeff

Hello,I work on a web application (JSSP) that is supposed to allows users to create their own recipient lists.Historically these lists were generated by a workflow and the activity update/create list, so i have already plenty of list (type list).But today i need to create, purge, fill these lists through js code.Unfortunally i didn't found how to do it. I am able to create group and add recipient in it but it's not the same story for list.Also i can create a group of list type but the table (ex grp100000) is not created in database like list activity does, so i cannot fill it with my recipients. Does anyone has an idea about how to proceed ? Thanks a lot.

Hi all,We recently had an upgrade from AEM 6.1 to AEM 6.3 SP3 and now we are evaluating the different custom components and see how they are in the touch UI.One thing that we noticed is that there is no refresh when switching between Edit and Preview mode in the touch UI, while the classic UI does.We used this refresh to switch styles because the classic Ui is sometimes very messy. Is there some way to fix the switch between the 2 wcmmodes (I already tried the solution in javascript described here: AEM6.3 - force page refresh when change mode to preview on touch ui  , but it doesn't work)?Thanks in advance!

All of our deploys have started failing with the following error. Even trying to deploy packages that have previously been installed results in the same error. Could anyone tell me how I can start investigating a problem like this? I don't see anything useful in the logs.This problem is happening on our stage publishers and all of our production instances but our stage author is working fine. I have the need to open a form that is on my publish site in an Iframe that will open on an external application (Dynamic CRM) for this I want to send a few parameters so that the form opens the correct record from Dynamics CRM.lets say I want to pass the casenumber and casedate from my external application into the publish instance of AEM. how do I read the parameters being passed? what is the query string look like? is this possible?thanksI want to add this below:you can see here how the argument of a caseid is being hardcoded, could that be the parameter being passed?

Our Standard users are getting an error message when they try to create an email (screenshot below).According to the documentation a Basic user (assuming that is the same as Standard user), should be able to create an email. Ugh. I know I've asked very similar things to this before, so I feel like I should know better....but I'm having trouble comparing a date to today's date. AEM 6.5i've copied OOTB "DAM Update Asset workflow Model" in aem and changed launchers for create, update, modifying assets to this new model. but workflow is not being triggered when i upload an asset. are there specific instructions to overlay a workflow model and customize it.how do we persist the customization from code repository to  avoid any overrides ?Thanks in advance!!!

All, I'm trying to create a Landing Page where the Location>Country Code/Region  (@country) can be selected and captured during the process. I don't see 'List' being an option in the HTML Type of Field. I tried manipulating the Source Code - but when I selected the Country from code, the Profile did not save the Country Code. How can I create a Drop Down List on the Landing Page that will allow me to select the data from the Location>Country Code/Region schema and populate this data in the Profiles table?
