I have following case: In a input form we're having a city field, which represents the city the user searches something in, Dimension is named city_comboFor Example:1) User has by default the located city in there, like Madrid2) User doesn't want to search in Madrid, but in Barcelona, dimension gets set the new valueHow can i find out, how many users change the default of the dimension, not based on cities?I want to have a metric, which represents the # of users who change the default localization, regardless of which city he changes to.Thanks in advance!

Hello There,My question is regarding functionality in Adobe Launch.I have created few rules and have also created a Library in publishing queue to build it for Development environment.Now I am trying to create another Library in publishing queue to build for the Development environment but on the interface where Library is created, the Environment Option is disabled for Development Env.Can you please help me what I am missing here?

setup:1. a local instance of author (running on 4502 and debugging port on 8000) and publisher (running on 4503 and debugging port on 8002)2. used this guide (Debug an AEM app using eclipse ) to setup 2 debug configurations for my author and publisher local instances3. Somebody (a person before me) created a custom version of /libs/sling/servlet/errorhandler and placed it in /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandlerMy question is on how to do debug the custom JSP page. I placed a breakpoint in the JSP on IntelliJ and it's not stopping on the breakpoint. I know the debugging works as the custom JSP uses a Java class (consisting of 10 lines only) and if I placed a breakpoint somewhere in the class, it stops at that point.I am looking at this page (Customizing Pages shown by the Error Handler ) and there are no tips on how to debug the custom code.Thanks!

Hi, I am currently working on integration AEM and Adobe Target. Everything works fine for admin user. The issue which I found that non-admin user cannot export page to a Target.1. User select experience fragment2. Click on Export to Target3. Get positive msg that page was exported successfully4. Go to Target - Experience Fragment is not there.I think, the issue could be with permissions, but I am not sure which permissions do I need to set up.Thank you.

We recently upgraded from AEM 6.2 to 6.4 and since then copying and pasting the components from one page to the other is not working. Is that a product issue or do we need to make changes from our end?Service Packs installed: SP-4

I have a few webinars scheduled and collecting registrations using my GoToWebinar form for the next few months. I recently connected GoToWebinar to Marketo through Launchpoint and connected these webinars to programs (because we're going to run follow up, etc through Marketo from now on). The connection did not "bring down" the registrants from GoToWebinar - it's showing 0 members. Support confirmed that we can't sync those people from GoToWebinar to Marketo because they used the GoToWebinar form, not a Marketo form.Has anyone dealt with this before? All I can think of is a list upload of their information and marking them as "Registered" for my event, but if I do that, will GoToWebinar recognize them after the event when it marks them "Attended" or "No Show" or will it create duplicates?

I have a requirement related  to /etc/mapping .i have around 60+ domains in following format:/etc/map.publish/https/                    ->domain1                    ->domain2                    ->domain3                    ->domain4                     ->domain.....is there a way to write a common redirect rule for all domains instead of adding same redirect to all 60?

I checked this via CRX/DE.I've looked at various examples around the net and I cannot find examples where the string supplied to getPath is a string literal. It's always a variable.I'm just wondering what sort of path is required.When I debugged my code using Eclipse, currentPage is neither empty or null. like it's undefined. so perhaps I'm using it wrong.Thanks

Hi guys,Have anybody tried something like this before? I have custom external datasource that i was able to connect to adobe and it works fine if i just pull some data and immediately change the dimension to use Adobe internal database.However i have use cases where i cannot do it in the beginning and any activity in Adobe that uses internal templates to create the query will fail as the syntax is slightly different.First time i got this error "Unable to load document of identifier 'xtk:crdb_<mydb>.xsl' and type 'xtk:xslt'." So what i did is that i created following .xsl files for this case- crdb_<mydb>.xsl- updb_<mydb>.xsl- tools_<mydb>.xslThe crdb.xsl is a reference to load and call tools_.xsl which has some template for creating and inserting to table. My problem is that no matter what i change in these .xsl files, the query submitted by Adobe doesn't change.Is there some other layer of how these templates are stored? What does updb do since it is not called

Hi all,I have a question related to an issue i'm having when creating a schema in ACC and I'm wondering if you have any clues.Basically when i'm saving the schema, i 'm having and error message saying "Cannot preview and keep receiving the error message An error occurred during the SOAP call. You don't have the required rights to view the detail. ". But when i  check in my schemas list, the schema appeared but i can not see it when i try to update the database structure. I am also getting the following error while trying to view the structure of Schema: The graphical component 'schemaview5' has generated an error.Here are the steps I followed which gives me this error.1. Selecting Administration-->Configuration-->Data schemas2. Click the NEW icon3. Leave default selection of Create a new table in the data template and click next4. For namespace, type rt (the namespace of the line of business - but the default namespace cus also gives the same error)5. For name, type TEST6. F

The text is gray in every email client that I tested except for Outlook when I view on my desktop (here it's blue). When we upload a new custom clientlib - to etc/designs - and then do a tree activation, the next time we request a webpage that includes those font files, then the font files are created in the dispatcher with file size 0.  The resulting impact is that when requesting a web page in the browser, font files are not properly downloaded (browser reports "Failed to decode downloaded font:")We can work around this issue by connecting to the dispatcher and manually removing the font files before re-requesting them (when they are subsequently cached and served correctly).  In front of our Apache dispatchers we use Cloudflare as a CDN.Is this a known problem with the dispatcher or likely to be a combination of the above (we also have CORS configurations in place to specifically allow cross origin use of the font files)?

I have a data element that is using JavaScript variable name to get a value. The values are boolean.Is it the case that this field can only return string values? It seems that anytime i try to capture a boolean, the data doesn't appear in the analyics debugger.Thanks!

We have an app where a user can select documents via checkboxes and then press a btn to email a list of links. I'm basically faking an array in Launch and storing the titles and then writing them out in custom code when the user presses the button. But now there's a requirement to capture department, so that they can do analytics on what documents each department is sending. If I also pass department (which I'm already capturing in a data element) in the same loop as I go through the array of documents will that department value then be associated with that specific document on the reporting side? They want to drag the document title dimension and they drop department underneath to see which departments used that document. Any thoughts? I feel like I'm missing some basic way in which Launch/DTM and Analytics works...

I was contacted by the IT Team at my office and they said Firefox is implementing a feature to set DNT as a default which will prevent DTM/Launch from firing. We have all our vendor tags and analytics tags in Launch. Does this mean we will not be able to track our customers anymore if they use Firefox? Can anyone help us with this? Thanks

I have a site with a master language (en).I have a page (es) already translated by a translation project. Then I update that page from my master language (en).The launcher generated is full in English. The translator provider should translate full content again if they do not have a memory translation.Is there a way somehow I can send only the content modified in my page, I should not pay for the translated content again?

Sometimes, infrequently, my test and control do not add up correctly.  For example, let's say my test group is 10K unique visitors and my control is also 10K.  I would expect my activity total unique visitors to be 20K, but sometimes I see something lower than expected (i.e. 19,998).  Can you explain why this occurs?Thanks!

Our project was created on 6.3 with static templates, Now we got a new requirement of creating same set of templates to Dynamic (editable) templates and all page which were created should not get disturbed.Is there a way to do this with any of the configurations or by any of package installation?Please help me out with the same.

Hello Community,I wanted to move my aem instance repository from one machine to another. I have copied my crx-quickstart folder from old machine and tried restarting it in new machine . Unable to access any console and facing below upgrade issue which i did not intend to.I am not trying to upgrade this instance. Facing this issue while starting the instance with crx-quickstart folder from old instance as to skip the project content, configuration which is more time consuming.I am using AEM 6.4stdout.log have below linesQuickstart startup at Mon Aug 19 22:39:40 IST 2019UpgradeUtil.handleInstallAndUpgrade has mode UPGRADEHow would i skip this Upgrade while stating the AEM ?Thanks,Vinay
