Would love to get a perspective on best practices regarding segmentation and creating segments. I have my Analytics, Audience Manager, and Campaign connections established to share data, my question: Is it better to create the segments in AAM and share? or better to create in Analytics and share?an example scenario: I would like to tag visitors of a specific web page as "Webpage Visitors" to be able to send them email campaigns later on, but also create reports based on page visits. What would be the best practice for creating the segment?Thanks

right now, we are tracking campaigns using s.cidbut if we want to include 2 campaign codes in a url query string, how should we do that?

Hi All,I'm using AEM6.4.4 and have created a user group and added couple of users in it. The issue is, when I double click on the user group, I'm able to see the user A that I have just added to the group but when I search for the user A and double click on it after it appears in my search result, and open the 'Groups', I can't see the user group. Has anyone faced this issue before ?

Hi there,We have a problem with Session refresh.Session refresh is at the bottom of the marketing channel configuration. As Last touch channel is overtaking other Channels, which is not normal.I checked the option to override other channels and the box it s not ticked.I read also about a possible issue with the visitor ID and the time out session. However it looks like there is a good coverage of mcid. How can i check the time outfor the visitor ID?Everything looks to be configured pretty well, however Session Refresh is 3 in terms of Orders attributed as per picture above.Any idea or suggestions?

Hi team,As I don't want to hardcode the URL so for that I have created an Option variable.I have created an option variable where i have given the value as one of the URL.I have used that option variable Variable in the personalisation block of MESSAGE CENTRE.But after publishing the template and testing, the option variable is not working. As in the link is not coming.So can we use Option variable in a Mesaage Centre.If yes, then how can we use that option variable whose value is one of the link.Please suggest.Thanks..

Can we store Clientlibs inside dam or if yes , is it good practice to store Clientlibs inside dam?Actually my client wants to  update the CSS and JS from Dam and he wants to give rights to author to change/update the Clientlibs(CSS ,JS with css.txt/js.txt )files from dam only.I am not sure is this a good practice or is it possible in CQ. Hello, I'm trying to create a query that will look at the event date of a recipient who received a Welcome Email but did not open it in the last 24 hours. For example on 8/14 I want to send another email to recipients who were sent the first email on 8/13 but did not open it. I'm having a problem with calculating the event date. If I hardcode the date I can get it to work. but when I use 'current date minus n days' the query just spins and doesn't produce a result.any ideas? Thank you!

At the moment, any new file that is uploaded seems to update/increment the table but I'd like it to overwrite the previous file, (i.e how can customers from the previous data set be removed?). We're planning to implement SSO via AEM's SAML 2.0 Handler with Ping IDP, so we can get users from our own active directory as well as allow them to log in to AEM.On the other hand, we'd also like to integrate Asset Link for end users (our users have Enterprise IDs). From my understanding, this will require creating a unique user group with a list of Enterprise/Federated ID IMS users.I've read a lot of articles out there, but I can't seem to answer one question: If Person A has logged in to AEM via SSO first and the user's been created automatically in AEM upon SSO login, then they've managed to log in to AEM via Asset Link -- which, I'm guessing, will result in creation of another Enterprise ID user of the same person from IMS. Can these user instances be combined into one single profile, or will these be separately managed (IMS user and SSO user)?We're not planning to subscribe to AEM Managed Services yet, so we won't be using IMS based authentication for our users.

I'm new to Marketo and am inviting people to RSVP to a dinner via a Marketo landing page and form. The landing page that houses the form is showing has Not Secure even though it should be secure because we purchased and implemented the CNAME & SSL for landing pages. We are trying to use  coral UI2 in AEM6.5 but content is not getting stored into the node. works in AEM6.3 .
