I have a prop that captures the site section. Why are the occurrences of the Entry Prop higher than the Prop itself? I may not have a full understanding of how these occurrences fire, but I assume the Entry Prop and Prop get set upon entry, then if the user visits another page in that section the Prop would get another occurrence but the Entry Prop would not - so wouldn't the prop occurrence value always be equal or greater than than Entry Prop?for instance, visitor enters site in the About section. Entry Prop-Section "About" gets 1 occurrence and Prop-Section "About" gets 1 occurrence, then visitor goes to 3 other sections and returns to About. So Entry Prop "About" is still 1 occurrence but not Prop-Section "About" has 2 occurrences. How is it ever possible that Entry Prop-Section "About" has more occurrences than Prop-Section "About" ?

Hi all,I am trying to set up tracking for a website and would like to send data to two separate production report suites (one new and one old). I can see that option available in the Adobe Launch, however, once I enter both report suites Adobe Launch is asking me to fill Tracking Server values.So, my question is what Tracking Server values should I enter?ThanksJonas

Hi,I'm looking for suggestions on Best practices on Internal link tracking. Many a times, we are asked to find out the click-throughs on banners, carousels placed on home page, etc. apart from file downloads, exit links, etc.There are cases, when a user might click it and close the tab before the page loads or clicks & then goes for a cup of coffee, etc. In some cases, if we do a display advertising & have bought the deal on clicks, then they can have a bot just to increase the clicks.Though we have defined an internal link tracking across the site which captures the component name with instances, but is there any other way that we can track or improve it?Thanks!

Hi all,I am seeking to understand how devices are recognised and shown within Adobe as a Dimension.  The reason I ask is that I have seen a considerable rise in "TV" within Visits to some pages and feel that Adobe may be picking up an alternate device as TV when is actually another i.e. mobile/tablet.  Any help that can aid my understanding of how Adobe recognises devices/any breakdown of what sits within each (Mobile Device/Mobile Device Type) would be greatly appreciated.Many thanksKirsten

Right now there aren't any options when I click on the drop-down button or try typing. Is there a way to create a segmentation as an end user or does it have to be through an Administrator?

Hi all,I'm currently helping with the analytics design for a hybrid app.Current State has a web portal with an analytics implementation already in place.The app is a hybrid with some of its pages being wrapped content from the web space.My current understanding is that because the wrapped pages already have analytics on them, I can leave that out of my design as it will still continue tracking (note:I'm already aware of how to pass visitor info to make sure we're not double counting visitors etc)My question: 1) Is reporting for an app done in analytics like a normal web implementation?                        2) If not - will reporting be in mobile services and will I be able to view info on native and wrapped pages all in the one space?

We currently added in a field to all of our Marketo forms on our website so that someone can subscribe to our emails (field is a check box named Opt-In).  When the field is checked and submitted, we send them an automated email with an embedded link that takes them to our subscription page.  Seems this works great for those that have the value of that field marked "false", but for those that are "true" nothing happens.  The email is triggered by data value changes, Opt-In, value = true.  Would like to see what other companies are doing for their subscriptions, and if anyone has ideas on how we can better improve our process so that when that field is checked anytime, they are sent the subscription email (so they can update their preferences). Hi,What would be the impact of changing the timezone in Adobe Analytics? Once changed and If I revert the settings back to default, will the data be retained as like now?

Is is possible to  track the exact location of the user using adobe analytics. To give an example let say a user makes a visit from a school ,is it possible to track the IP and get to know which school the visit is coming from? If not how close we can be in tracking the location of the user.?

I've been asked to add 20 new IP address filters to our master suite. Is there a way to measure/quantify the impact on total traffic before adding? My thought was add in a non-prod/sandbox suite and see what the impact is on total counts. Also, I wanted to confirm this would only have an impact on data going forward and not historic?Thanks in advance!

Dear All,I have migrated my AEM application from AEM 6.2 AEM 6.4.In AEM 6.2 , my clientlibs was under the path /etc/designs , as shown below.After migrating to AEM 6.4 , I have moved to the clientlibs under the apps/Sunita , as shown below.After doing the necessary changes , my home page images are coming fine in AEM-6.4 author instance. But it is not coming fine in AEM-6.4 publish instance. It is still calling etc.clientlibs , as shown below.I am feeling I have missed something. But I am not able to figure out .It will be really appreciated if Anybody can help me on this.

Any suggestions on the best way to connect mParticle to Adobe? As of right now, all the data is going to mParticle but we want to start sending data to Adobe from mParticle. We don't want to use DTM we just want to connect it directly to Adobe for reporting purposes. Someone suggested using processing rules because mParticle only uses context variables. Is processing rules the best and only way? Or are there different directions we can take to implement this?

We have set up some customer attributes for testing, and are seeing them available in Target. The Customer ID we use is sent on the authenticated area of our site, but we also have many pages that people might visit before / after they log in.Can we target users on customer attributes after they have logged out? Or the next time they return to our site and before they have logged in? Or will this work only in the authenticated area where the Customer ID is being collected?What is the difference if I create an Audience in Target based on the customer attribute, vs. creating a segment for it in Analytics and sharing that audience to Target?

Is it possible to use a smart campaign to alter text that exists in a field on a record?I need a quick and easy way for our end users to strip the from a field that is populated by Qualtrics (customized links to surveys). Is this possible? I was thinking a smart campaign should be able to do that but I can't find anything that would perform that action. I can see a way to change that field to something specific, but not to remove a portion of what's already in the field.

Hi there, I rarely work in Marketo's code but we recently started working with Movable Ink. I am trying to paste the Movable Ink string of code into an individual email. To do this I am clicking edit code at the top of the email, pasting in the appropriate code and saving. However, by doing this I lost the entire email as the email went back to the original/raw template. How do you edit HTML in an individual email without affecting the work created in a template?Thanks!

Not sure where to start. Seems like it would be available in the Global Variables Extension for Adobe Analytics but it is not. Can you help me to understand how to create this event?

We have a client who has their forms iframed in, and something I've noticed is that for about 10 leads per month, their forms submit multiple times. It's a variety of different browsers and OS's, different forms, different regions, really no discernible pattern. Has anyone run into this? On the second submission URL there is a aliId= value in the query parameter that does not exist on initial form submissions. @Sanford Whiteman​?

I have an internal search data element that I have created that I want to map to a specific prop (let's say prop 55). I am new to this tool and can't find how to do it from searching this forum or just Googling. Your help is much appreciated.
