Hiya All.Here is a bit of a question for you.A company adds new products to their product database.That same company wants to (based on customers interests (determined by pre-selected preferences and/or previous online behaviour e.g. browsing particular brands or product categories)) send them emails when the new products are a good 'fit' for the customer.The email sent would need to have images, product blurb etc.Let's assume Marketo is at the core of the solution.  I'm struggling to see how I get the product details into Marketo and then perform the analysis on what to send whom.Let's also assume customers have signed up and opted in for Newsletters, so we don't have an issue there.Thoughts?RegardsJo

Hello,I have integrated Adobe Launch with AEM 6.4 and I am having issues with updated Launch config to be shown on AEM.Pre-requisite:AEM and Launch integration has been setupSteps to produce issue:Make any changes in Adobe Launch (e.g. create a rule to rename the page title)Publish the change in Adobe LaunchAEM downloads the changes (via pre-configured cron scheduler polling or by launching the Adobe Launch Library Download workflow)After performing steps above, I can see the following changes in AEM:AEM error log shows that the new Launch library files were downloaded into /var/cq/dtm-reactor/clientlibslibraryEntries and libraryEntriesPrev were updated in /conf/{your-site}/settings/cloudconfigs/dtm-reactor/jcr:content/{env}libraryUri is NOT updated and still points to the old pathAs a result, the site that was configured to use Adobe Launch did not get the latest changes.Is this a bug or is there something else needs to be done to prevent this?Thanks,James

Let me explain:We have a Loyalty table that holds up to 10 friends/family members' names and birthdays.I want to be able to send an email that looks at all those records and pulls out the family member and birthday that meets my criteria (i.e. birthday is in 14 days) as well as enrich the email with that guests' personalised information (i.e. name or age).i.e. I have the Query I want, which will find anyone's birthday 14 days from now: but how do I find out which of the 10 meets that criteria so it can be enriched by a delivery?ThanksKevin

First a little background, then several questions below.  I am a recent convert from the .NET world, so I am still picking up on AEM, Java, Maven, etc.  We are using 6.3 and created our project solution using archetype 12.  Most development is happening on local workstations between AEM and Eclipse.  The source is being stored in a GitHub repo.  We have Jenkins set up in our development environment which nightly builds and deploys the solution to our test AEM environment.  The stage and production environments sit in a different lab environment that we can not connect into remotely. 1. Right now when we want to deploy a release to the stage environment we send the latest core JAR as well as the latest ui.app zip and ui.content zip.  The team installs the jar in both author and publish using the web console and then uploads/installs the two zips through the crx package manager on author and replicates them to publish.       a.  Is this the right way to deploy these builds to a separate

HiI want to track sales generated through our company blog. My thinking was to credit the sale to the blog where it is the original entry point onto our company website and then the visitor goes on to make a purchase within 30 days of that visit. I've been trying to setup a segment in Omniture to track this but I'm new to it and not 100% confident I have it configured correctly.Could anyone suggest how I could configure the segment to obtain the desired data?Thanks in advanceR

I've spoken to a lawyer, but my VP of marketing wants Marketo best practices in this matter.Marketing is only done from the Marketo Database, calls are made from SFDC Database. If a person in GDPR opts out from being communicated they are marked as opted out that is passed to the appropriate field in SFDC, if they request to not be followed they are removed from the Marketo Database. The SFDC DB is for Business performance as well as sales leads for tracking campaign success/failure not for marketing purposes. Should the people who opt out be removed from the SFDC DB and all campaign monitoring be removed as well, or should there be a notation added to the campaign that they can not be contacted due to GDPR compliance?What would be the Advised Marketo Best Practice be in this situation?

During one of my sessions at Marketo Summit, it was mentioned that the new GCP Platform introduced a new SSL product just in time for GDPR Compliance and Chrome 68 warning users of non-HTTPS sites. During that session it was mentioned that, at that time, the email editor was not ready to automatically convert HTTPS links to the tracking domain. This meant that token links that use HTTPS would not get converted to tracking links.Doing some further research, I found a few instances of Marketo Nation threads that detail exactly that:The Editor looks for HTML code that matches href=” to automatically convert links not created by the WYSIWYG editor (I.E., links in Tokens). If a token value for a link uses , it will not be recognized automatically and thus, not get converted to a tracking link.HOWEVER, in my recent testing, this has not been the case. Hi,We've white labelled our sales funnel so we can create new P2Ps quickly, but I think the URL work that's been done may be causing something weird with Analytics. Forgive my non-techy language...!For example...on a next page flow report, starting with the page I want to learn more about, the second most popular step in the next page flow is actually the same page, but instead of seeing the s.pagename in the report I'm seeing the URL? I've tried to refresh the page and watch the debugger, but I can't see anything obvious, although I am only using the normal Adobe debugger, not the Chrome extension (it's currently blocked by our IT dept ). Is there anything obvious that I'd be able to check? Cheers!!!!

In Analysis Workspace I understand you can sort table based on the metrics value.So creating a top 10 list is as simple as sorting the metric descending and then limiting the number of visible rows to 10.but what about a bottom 10 list?the issue i'm running into is my dimension breakdown has 1800 unique values and when I sort the metric ascending, I get several rows (almost 200) that don't have adequate sample sizes.  Meaning they only have 1 visit which is why they are at the bottom of the list.  but that means I can't use them in my analysis.is there any way to only include aggregated dimension values in a top / Bottom List that have a minimum number of visits (say 100).  The goal being my top 10 list will show items with 30K visits (or whatever the max is)while my bottom 10 list will show items with at least 100 visitsDoes anyone know how to achieve this Analysis Workspace?

Every week I send to the same smart list that has not changed, however I still received almost the same number of  hard bounces and thousands of soft bounces. My question is why? Isn't Marketo supposed to automatically suppress hard bounces from the list and wouldn't this have been done in the first send? Although when I extract the report for the campaign, the lead activity type is Email Bounced for the bounced back email ids but the lead is not there in Marketo inbuilt list for Bounced Back Addresses.Email Bounced

Hello,we have recently stumbled upon some problem with campaigns' naming in Adobe Analytics. We are using tracking template to send data from Google AdWords to Adobe Analytics and recently it started not to translate %20 as space and also it is randomely adding 25s between % symbol and number 20.So in Adobe Analytics it looks like this:Campaign%25252520NameCampaign%20NameCampaign%2520NameCampaign%25252520NameNevertheless it is the same campaign and it is just adding some symbols in it and we did not change tracking URL in AdWords. Should we just remove %20 from our tracking parameter to solve this issue? How can something like this happen?Thanks,Tomáš

However, when trying to create an 'advertising account' under 'advertising analytics' to integrate data from our Google Adwords account, it gave an error -EXTERNAL_API_ERROR: Unable to create/update AMO search account for imsOrgId = {imsOrgId}@AdobeOrg globalCompanyKey : {companyKey} due to external api error.Error message returned by AMO search account api = 'MCC account is not supported.'How to resolve this error?And there is a reminder saying : REMINDER: The search data you are implementing is summary-level data and the metrics that will be passed in (AMO Impression, Clicks, Cost, Average Position, and Quality Score) cannot be broken down by additional Analytics data.If so what will be the benefits to integrate search data into AA reporting and analytics?Thanks

I'm looking to create a work space that compares KPI for the current week vs last week at the same point using rolling dates so it can be sent out (scheduled). I want to be able to compare count data for this week so far  with last week up to this point  (like you would see on the real time reports e.g. +5.25% vs last week) but when I pull in last week it has the full count for the week. Is this possible? Can anyone help please? Thanks,

The Documentation here: Style System  StatesCaution:The CSS classes (as well as any necessary Javascript) configured as style properties of a component's policy must be deployed as Client Libraries in order to workI cannot understand the link between Clientlibs and the style system.  If I create a CSS file on an external system it will still work with the design principles of the Style System.  I am obviously missing something important, or the documentation is incorrect.I believed that If I added a new item to the Style System I would have to support this with a new clientlib, this is not so.My Use Case: I wish to have a generic RTE component, with many styles attached, say Quotation, Annotation, Code, Raw etc; I would like the subsequent css/js generation to contain only the styles I have used on the page; not the complete set of styles for all possible combinations of the component.  How can I do this optimisation?
