Hi,In some of our report suites, in our campaign reports (Campaign > Tracking code) we have a classification called Channel which captures the topline channels of our marketing activity like PPC, SEO, Email etc. These rules are set by the Classification Rule Builder. One of the topline channels is called Direct Traffic. Direct Traffic is a combination of typed/bookmarked traffic and all other referrer traffic (basically, all traffic without a tracking code).This report suite was create about five years ago, before I joined the company, and the person who created it no longer works here. So, I am trying to figure out how they managed to classify traffic without a tracking code (there is no rule in the Classification Rule Builder for it). I've spoken to Adobe Customer Care and they've said it isn't possible, so I was hoping maybe someone in the community could help.Thanks,Frank

We used it to drive our users to subscribe to our webinar (using Gotowebinar - don't know if that information is of value for what is following).We used two emails to invite people over :- A standard invite- A reminder to all unregistered poeple, 7 days after the first oneIs it possible to know how many persons went from the Invite status to the Registered status after registering from the links provided on both emails ?We also had a campaign on social medias, blogs, etc and I would like to know from where every participants came from before registering.Thank you,

I was having single property and report suite for my website. Now for a sub domain i have created another property and also report suite to capture data from this property. Now i want this data in old report suite too without changing current scenario.How can i create duplicate property with same rule set and different report suite.

I am a user of Campaign "classic" v. 6.11  and am trying to test a nurturing campaign where I am using segment codes to make sure that recipients who are part of one track do not get included in another track until the completion of the track.   I need to run some tests in order to see if the campaign workflows work as expected and wanted to know if there was a way to clear a segment code for a recipient after they complete the workflow and the code has been attributed to them.  Is there a place where segment codes are managed? Hello,In a delivery template, in the text version, we use this code to retrieve the subject dynamically:<% document.write(delivery.mailParameters.subject); %>The problem is that if there is javascript inside the subject, it is not executed.For instance, if the subject is : <%=recipient.firstName%>, how are you doing?It won't execute the firstname variable and will display the all thing as plain text.Is there any means for avoing this issue?Thank you very much for your help!

Can we create lookup tables that can be joined to the recipient data within the workflow?In other words, can we create temporary lookup tables within the workflow for reporting and/or analytical purposes?

HiI need to do something that should be easy: deleting information from the table (I'm deleting adress information that is no longer accurate).However, I can't seem to do it.I'm using a data update component and for each field that need to be deleted, I'm setting the source to ''. At runtime, this ends with a sql error.Does anyone know what should be the proper process to delete the value of a field ?Thanks for your help

Hi all,I have followed the guide for integrating SMS into Adobe Campaign. Firstly I setup the external account and then built an SMS delivery. However, the SMS deliveries are stuck on 'Start Pending' and not sending, for both proofs and live sends.I'm wondering if this could be because the technical workflows need to be running for the sending process to begin? Hello,I use cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtext with property useFixedInlineToolbar = true.But toolbar is visible only after click inside richtext.I'm doing something wrong? Or it just a bug?Thanks,Alex

Hi,I have created a touchUI richtext component but i am facing issues:when the dialog is opened for the first time the useFixedInlineToolbar property which is supposed to show the toolbar even when we dont click on the richtext area doesn't work.Same it does when we reopen the dialog for the second time after entering some data. Only when you click inside the richtext area you can see the toolbar. And if u give the value of the property as false it wont allow me to edit.It is a duplicate of the post:AEM 6.3 richtext I have asked the question there as well but since its already been answered so i thought of raising a new query.Can anyone help me out with the fix here.Screenshot:Thanks,Arjit

Hello there,I have scenario wherein I would like to get the (html) preview of a delivery template, find below the snippet I am using to build the preview:But, the above code fails to generate the html as it was not able to resolve the variables in delivery template. Is there any way to pass the custom variables in the above code?Have tried passing it through params (<params content="html" filter="@id=280519" myCustomVariable="myCustomValue" />), but it still doesn't resolves. Hi All, There are two fields associated with Assets: “Expires” (in Advanced Tab) and “Off time” (under Basic Tab) for TOUCH UI. Off-Time: Setting the value for this field, un-publish the content when date reaches and for “Published” Status it says “Not Published”. This is confusing as if asset is unpublished or not published at all Status is  same. Expires: When the time is reached for this field, Status come as “Expired” for Status tab but the content is not deactivated. Why do we have two separate fields as it is creating confusion? Does “Expires” field holds more importance in AEM? Kindly suggest If anyone has done some more analysis around this.

Hi community,is anybody using facebook's ad reporting tools for measuring conversion? We are currently trying to understand how we could compare facebook's conversion measurement with adobe analytics?Curerntly the deviation is huge. But this is due to different attribution models and afaik data collection methods. While with Adobe we work with the cookie info and check upon registration the traffic source's info (not merely referrer info, because we made the experience that the referrer info is unreliable and can get lost), facebook doesn't (Discrepancies between third-party reporting and Facebook Ads Reporting | Facebook Help Center | Facebook ) However I didn't fully understand how they do it.I thought that maybe lookign at first touch-last touch the reported figures would come close, but they do not.Any ideas or experiences?

Hello Friends,I have this question in mind that while scheduling any smart campaigns we have the "Smart Campaign Settings" where there is an option which says "If person has reached the communication limits" and by default this option is set as "Block non-operational emails". If i choose to uncheck this box it says "Ignore Limit" then,1. Will it override my system admin settings which we have as 2 emails per week & 1 email per day limit ?OR2. This option does not make any difference as no matter what we choose over here, the system admin settings will always prevail ?Thanks,Debroop.

Is there a link available to the AEM Assets Sizing Calculator?  There was one provided as part of a lab during Summit 2017 but it doesn't appear that this tool is available online to use?

We have a requirement to make author enter a set of mandatory metadata info on Asset upload and if they dont enter it, the Asset shouldn’t be uploaded. Is there any known implementation of such a use case?Maybe instead of the upload form, we show a browse button + the mandatory fields and popup an upload form on drag/drop.just to be clear, the mandatory fields are to be updated not after upload by opening up the properties. Any suggestions or examples?

I have some issues with the new 3D assets supported format.Firefox on Pc is very slow to display 3D content (some minutes) however it's less than few seconds on Mac.Ascii fbx files shows a "text" as thumbnail instead of a rendered preview image.I can't modulate the normal map intensity (via editing the shader in fbx)Objects looks like "mirror" in "Helipad Stage"Do someone have the same issues?JM

Hi,In a typical Adobe Marketing Cloud  (AMC) implementation, there could be AEM, DTM, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Campaign, etc, with AEM alone being on premises and all other products on cloud.1. Where is all data stored In such a case? Where ever AEM data store is configured, like JCR or Relational DB or Mongo DB, etc?2. In such a case how to Monitor and log access to Client Personal Data?My understanding is that  we do not have any functionality out of box.If it is JCR, we have to write JCR Events to capture such a data and do the needful like logging in to a file.In case of a Database storage, we have to write a Trigger for it.Any suggestions?3. This covers just AEM data store. Is data stored anywhere else also, and how is this (Monitor and log access to Client Personal Data)  done there?Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

Hi All,We recently upgraded to AEM 6.3 from 6.1. In 6.3 there are some destination pages are continues to freeze when attempting to open it in edit mode and indicates a Google map search at the bottom of the browser. I am not seeing any errors in the log, on network tab and did take out and add the components to see if it is because of any components we are having this issue still no use.But when we create a package with these pages and installed in 6.1 they are working fine, they are not freezing.Thanks,Narayana
