Hi All,In one of AEM-SOLR integrations that I have seen, wherein full text search along with property based search is being done. Basically at a very high level, via querybuilder we are getting list of all the page in the system. Based on certain criteria, certain pages are excluced and all of that data is put into SolrInputDocument and that is added to SolrClient[cloud based or whatever].My query is, whatever is the external search engine used, basically we will always be doing something similar.1] Get the required data from AEM.2] Pass it onto the external search engine.So, if there is any evaluation to be done to decide on the external search engine to be used, what is it on AEM end that needs to be considered.Any thoughts on this will be helpful.

Hi All,I am trying to use a instance variable defined in a workflow, in the file name for the Direct Mail extract.Steps Done:1. Defined instance variable in a JS activity in the workflow.2. Used this variable in the delivery variables tab as $(instance/vars/@var1) and named the variable as DelVariable1.3. Used the variable from the delivery parameters in the file Name. <%= variables.DelVariable1 %>The issue is:We are getting an error while executing the delivery: Unable to parse the expression  $(instance/vars/@var1).Can someone suggest anything?Thanks,Subhajit

From I was told that a hit is a service call, it is a image data send. The thing I still feel confuse is, for example,:in DTM, when a page load, I will have a page load rule which will setup bunch of variables, then I will have some special event  or page rules are fired due to the nature of the visit. In this case, for example, when a visitor visit a page, 3 rules fired, then how many hits do we consider? How may image will be send to server.Then if user just click a link, a link click rule will fire, will this be another hit? and another service call / image send? I guess my question is 1 hit is 1 rule fire? or 1 hit can have more than 1 rule fire? How did adobe construct a image call?Thanks

Hi,I wondered if anybody can please advise me.I'm using the standard audio component in 6.2.  In author it works fine, but when published and viewing on the site I get a 'mixed content' error and it doesn't work.All of the other DAM assets work fine and point to https when we link to them from AEM and the sling mappings are working, it just appears to be audio component is auto linking to http.On the page this is the error, in case this helps, which seems to indicate AEM is referencing a rendition in http ?Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xxxxx.html' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure video 'http://xxxxx/content/dam/x/yyy/misc-/aaa.mp3/jcr:content/renditions/cq5dam.audio.aaa.mp3.html '. Hello All,We are in process of upgrading from AEM 6.1 to AEM 6.3 and in the process of moving from client context to contexthub.We have got ContextHub working in AEM 6.3 instance but what we are not sure is how we migrate client context segmentation content to context hub (content that reside within /content/campaigns)We did a quick check and changing just the segment information (change from client context segment to context hub segment) within experience did not retain the targeted content.Please let us know if we need to do anything specific?Many ThanksBest Regards,Shishank

Is there any good documentation on the difference between public and private member profiles as far as what is shared and who it is shared with?  I don't see this specific information in the AEM doc anywhere.  There is a strong concern that people don't realize they are sharing their profiles to anonymous users and those profiles display email addresses.

When creating a new page using the template which has many cq:included components doesn't create the nodes in jcr:content repository for the same components.so when i am targeting a component , it shows an error that component node is not defined and not able to target but when i edit the component then it creates the node and targeting is working fine. This is the behaviour in AEM 6.2 wherever when checking the same in CQ5 even without editing the component or without having the nodes , it allows the component to target.

I was wondering if there is some way I can make the following happen:  after a person unsubscribes, we want them to land on an unsubscribe exit survey (landing page with a form).  If they fill out the form, we want them to then land on a page that has links to our website/social media, in hopes they may want to engage with us in other ways aside from email. The problem is that we have multiple geographies/workspaces, so depending on what workspace the person is in, we want them to land on either a page that contains North America links, or a page for Europe.  I thought I could setup some kind of triggered campaign to make this happen, but I keep hitting a roadblock.
