What could be the best project design that's need to be followed while working in AEM ? Do we have any proper document available on this ?As i have a requirement of new project and below are my doubts:-- We should have page-component and template for each and every page, even if header and footer is common ?-- When should we create new page-component and page template ?   -- What to do when only body design is different of pages ? and rest other part is same ?-- Can we include component level clientlibs in component jsp's directly ?I have a confusion as Geometrix project is having page-component and template for each and every page. :(Please guide me on this.

Hello,If you look at the results tab of a smart program and click on "view campaign members", you are given the option to create a smart list subscription on the new browser tab. Seeing this as a handy thing (cuts out the step of creating a separate smart list of registrants), I tried it.Everything appears to work as it should, but I have found that once you create it, the subscription is impossible to find on the pages where a subscriptions tab is offered (Activities, Database and Analytics). I even tried to set up the subscription again, and Marketo said that it already existed. But there appears to be no way to see, delete or edit it.Is there a single view that show ALL subscriptions across our instance?This is the only issue I've ever had with Smart Lists.Thanks,Eddie

A little background: not all of our leads/contacts in Salesforce exist in our Marketo database. Sales rep are using MSI both in Outlook and Salesforce to send Marketo emails. Do MSI emails sent through Salesforce/Outlook to leads not in Marketo show up in a lead's Salesforce activity history?

I'm having trouble figuring out a way to add a lightbox to a guided landing page. We've recently started using the guided pages to build instead, and it's not an issue using <div class="mktoForm" id="exampleText" mktoName="Example Text Area"></div>whenever we're embedding directly to the page, but I can't exactly figure out how to apply this detail to a button without the form just then replacing the button.Here is a page we are currently attempting to place a lightbox on in regards to its "Send me Updates" button : Advicent Innovation Summit 2016 | Toronto I'd love to determine a fix for this as it would make form tracking better from within marketo if we can have the landing page recognize the form placement.

Hi,I am using OOTB comment component on my page. This works fine but in dispatcher comments are cached as a part of page. So when a new comment is added, this does not appear on the page(After page reload) unless the cache is cleared at dispatcher. I see in OSGi there is setting for communities flush agent but it seems not working by default. Is there any setting to invalidate cache one a new comment is added?Thanks.

Does the Currency field type automatically round off to a certain digit? I can't find any official documentation from Marketo that talks to those specifics.

   Is it possible to create field, only in Marketo? I don't want it to sync over to SalesForce.

Hi,I need your help with something: we have integration between Salesforce and Marketo.  We want to know for each contact / lead how many emails he opened, clicks, etc.When activities will start happening on Marketo, will the Marketo Activity Log info of a contact / lead will appear on Salesforce ?If so, where can we see it? I know there have been a few discussions around this topic and I've seen different answers from different people (Shout-out to @Josh Hill​ and @Kenny Elkington​), but I am still a little confused. I might have a different use case than previously discussed, but I could be wrong. I am not merging instances anywhere. I have ONE SFDC instance that contains the devil (Purposeful dups!!). We're an agency and we sometimes service clients under OUR SFDC instance. Personas could overlap (and they do), hence the purposeful dups. We isolate them using Record Types. Each client, however, will have a separate Marketo instance. Question is, if we carefully craft SFDC profiles to access ONLY appropriate Record Types, would that be sufficient for us or is there more to it? I am not as operationally savvy in SFDC as I am in Marketo.

I have created 3 different event based rule in a page to track 3 different buttons in a page. When i click on the 1st link it is fine. But when the 2nd link is clicked it fires 2 times with the value i set for the 1st button and the current button. When i click the 3rd button it fires again 2 times with the previous click event and the present one. Can you please let me know how to stop this? It is very urgent as this has to go live today. Quick reply is greatly appreciated.

My question is, is there a way to compress JavaScript online in AdobeDTM.As a customer loads from his own browser, the whole JavaScript is loaded. Recently we re-organized a bunch of content on our website. I wasn't involved with the content re-org, but an author noticed  there are hundreds of pages on our website with broken links in author mode, and the links are no longer links on the published site.When I looked at the a page with the problem, I see the broken link annotation around the link in question.When I look at the page source, I notice the link is:  <a href="https://forums.adobe.com/content/xyz/patient-care/public-health/immunizations1/schedules.html"> but it should be: <a href="https://forums.adobe.com/content/xyz/patient-care/public-health/immunizations/schedules.html">It looks like an immunizations1 folder/page was created at some point in time and all of the links got updated to this, which was subsequently renamed or deleted. Is there a way to search and replace in author or in CQDE (AEM Developer Environment)?

I have a dashboard that I would like to do a TY/LY comparison with, and I would like the start date for both ranges to be fixed (3/6/15-rolling date and 3/4/16-rolling date). However, I seem to only get the option to choose fixed or rolling for my first set of dates (LY in this case, see screenshot attached). My other set of dates (TY in this case), just seems to constantly roll. When I originally set up the dashboard, we were only a week into the time period (7 days). So now, my dates show 3/6/15-3/19/15 (this is correct) compared to 3/11/16-3/17/16 (last 7 days, incorrect because I wanted the first date to hold at 3/4/16). Is there a way to remedy this without have to resort to using report builder instead?

But acutal API doesn't have this method. I'm having following dependencies in the maven. Is this documentation error? Isn't recent version of sling used. We are getting ready to set up a preference center/ unsubscribe landing page.I've been told by Marketo support that if a lead unsubscribes from the preference center rather than directly from the email, the unsubscribe activity will not be tied to that email (will be lost from the email report, etc)I would like to be able to use a filter to track people who unsubscribe from a specific email in an engagement program and hold them in a specific empty track.  Is that possible, if Marketo  can't tie the unsubscribe activity (via a preference center) to a specific email? Has anyone encountered this issue and come up with a work around? Thanks for your time and insight.

I noticed this week that there is a long delay when I do a DTM implementation and the time it takes for the Adobe DTM Switch staging to work. Normally I would be able to check updates or changes immediately using the debugger. As of this week, if I implemented some tracking during the day and turned on the debugger, nothing would register in the developer console. What happens now is the updates I made during the day would finally show-up in the developer console in the evening. Why is there a time lag now? Is there an alternative solution? Thank you, Bill

So I noticed my AEM project wasn't picking up changes I made to the Java code. I realized any time I ran mvn clean install -PautoInstallPackage, my bundle jar file was not getting reinstalled or updated. I had to manually reinstall the .jar file from /bundle/target/. I'm using IntelliJ Ultimate fwiw.I assume the bundles would get installed from the package if they are located in this directory /apps/packageNameHere/install/. I just unzipped the package that gets compiled from my project and my .jar file is indeed there. Any ideas?
