There's a code like this in my project to read some configuration from /etc/my-config-path:Resource res = resource.getResourceResolver().getResource("/etc/my-config-path");On AEM 5.6.1 it works correctly since anonymous user has access to entire /etc. On AEM 6.1 res is null since anonymous user has no access to /etc.I can see two possible solutions:Give anonymous user read permission to /etc/my-config-path explicitlyUse repository.loginAdministrative(null); to access the resource with admin permissions (but I see some people not recommending this approach on AEM 6.1).What is your thoughts on this?

Hi Basically when we are uploading the assets in to AEM DAM it is by-default creating the 4 rendition files in 4 different sizes.Our senario is to create only one rendition like thumbnail. Can we configure in existing OOTB workflow so that it should create only one rendition like thumbnail? Or Do we need to write the new workflow and terminate the OOTB workflow. Any idea? Thanks~S

I'm a relatively new user, so be gentle!I'm wondering if there is a way to do A/B testing in Marketo such that the system automatically sends the winning email the moment testing identifies a winner with a predetermined level of statistical significance.  In other words, the standard method has us identify a pre-set % of our target list to send the email.  Say we have a list of 10,000...we can select a winner by sending the variations randomly to 20%, or 2,000.  However, this could be a wasted opportunity.Imagine an extreme (and extremely simplified) scenario where 100% open version A and 0% open version B.  In that case (without doing any math), let's imagine that we can be 95% confident after seeing the results from only 500 emails (250 for A and 250 for B), that A is superior.  At that point, if we continue sending out B for the purposes of confirming what we already know, we're effectively wasting 750 opportunities(half the remaining 1,500 sample).So my question is this: is there a

Hi ,As per one our project requirement we have execute some peace code Automatically every year on Jan-1.  We can implement this in AEM using Sling-schedulers. But as per our understanding if Any sling-scheduler is configured , A separate thread (For each scheduled-event) run allays on back end to check whether Trigger time for this scheduled event is reached and will execute code. In Our view this , this will have impact on Performance Of AEM (since thread corresponding to this scheduled event will always run continuously on back end). Has anyone ever experienced this concern with their IT department when creating a CNAME?Allowing Marketo to host info.company.com would allow Marketo access to cookies defined at *.company.com – this includes customer and employee data. Is it possible to add a level of indirection to prevent the cookie access and add transparency? E.g. Use info.mkto.company.com – this would signal to our more security-conscious customers that these are subdomains controlled by a third party, and also limit Marketo’s access to cookies to only those in the *.mkto.company.com subdomain.ThanksAdam

Am I able to customize communication limits for a specific person? Let's say our communication limit is set up for 1 email per day, per 7 days, i want to be update a specific person's communication limit to unlimited. Hi All, Is there any way to set up an alert once. The idea here is that leads sign up for a seminar and then 1 day before the event an alert is sent to a sales person instructing them to download the attendee list from Marketo. Presently based upon my understanding he receives an alert for every lead. Thanks in advance. Matt

I am trying to implement pathing that includes page names and all of the events I implemented in DTM. On a blog I read the, the author mentioned to me that he created two data elements. One for page name and the other for custom hits. See below what blog author told me what he did. "I did two data elements, one for pagename and for custom hits. Then in the tool settings -> global variables, I added propX with my data elements. This wasn’t enough for custom hits, so I had to add custom code (can be found in the bottom of all the settings) s.linkTrackVars=”propX”; and voila it sent my custom hit to that prop when I tested with certain clickable element. This way you get to automate the process, but of course you could always manually add this prop to every custom hit you make in DTM, and that should also work.Sorry for “not so detailed” instructions, just too busy at the moment. Is it possible, in Adobe, to identify customers who have clicked on a specific piece of content within an email. The execution we are thinking is asking a question where customers either click yes or no (they won’t be taken to a landing page so not sure how we could work this for it to count as a click), and then we can retarget them with another email based on if they answered yes or no?

I am using an email script token and am trying to remove the last three chars from the token.The problem I think I am having is that the code I am using to strip the three chars assumes the value of the token is a string but I assume it is not (its type however is set to string).If I am correct with that assumption how do I convert the value to a string, or is there an alternate way to remove the three chars?Here is the code I am using, I get an error when I try and send the email and it references the substring.When I hardcode a value in it works fine#set ($string = ${lead.cRCURL}) #set ($stringLength = $string.length() - 3) #set ($string = $string.substring(0,$stringLength)) $stringAny help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Jason

Has anyone set up their logs with Loggly.com? We have a couple of development instances as well as production, and I'd like to use Loggly to monitor all. I don't have root access to the server, so I can't set anything up from there, it would have to be from AEM admin.
