We are working on some email templates and were hoping to use tokens for the CTA Button Text and CTA Button URL. However - the resulting button while taking the user to the desired end point does not track the click. We changed the template to use a rich text token, but then the users has to add the "text-decoration:none" css to each link or else it has the default appearance Has anybody found a good way to do tokenized buttons and links in email templates! -Justin

Hello all,I am currently attempting to use DPS to publish articles accross multiple platforms. So far its all been working great except for the fact that I dont know of a way to curate InDesign articles that will fit on many different platforms (ios, android, windows.) I understand html would be the best way around this problem, but it would be best for my colleuges to use InDesign.Is there any way to curate content in InDesign that will look great on multiple platforms without remaking the content for each possible screen resolution?Thanks!

Is it possible to use element Time Prior to Event (timeprior) for inline segmentation through the API)? I can see that similar reports are not available to be used as an inline segmentation (e.g. time spent on page or time spent on site), but this article doesn't mention anything about time prior to event. I'm getting an error message when trying to use that report in an inline segment.  This is the error message I'm getting: ERROR: Bad Request  -  invalid segment definition: invalid value "1-5 minutes" for timepriorThank you in advance.

I have some code in a component where I'm trying to get the list from a request, and it always comes back null. Why is this happening? The other interesting, and probably related, thing, is that when I use a simple " <cq:include script="init.jsp"/>", I get the "Could not find init.jsp" error. When I give an explicit path to init.jsp, (as shown below), it's resolved, but the list always comes back empty. Has anyone seen this??? Does Adobe Analytics support the WC3 user timing spec?http://www.w3.org/TR/user-timing/It would be really useful to associate things like time spent on, click-thru's, etc. with page load and element loading.  The assumption is that pages with content that loads faster may reduce the likelyhood of page/cart abandonment, and increase user engagement, such as click thru's. Please advise.

With the updated email builder interface I no longer have the option (or at lease I can't find it) to edit images, for instance by inserting vertical/horizontal space in the image option. Is the option gone? Or am I missing something?

I want to know how to create a dynamic drop down in multifield and my scenarios are1.Inside the component, Values should be dynamically populated in drop down(selection)2.And I have a multifield inside that mutifield i have a drop down based on the value which was selected in drop down values should be populated in the drop down which was inside multifield3. To put it in the nut-shell drop down values which was shown in the multi-field should be based on the values populated on the first drop down. and we are trying to achieve this funcitonality but we are not successfull can any one guide me on this.

Does AEM CQ 5.6.1 version supports mobile apps development. I have seen some documentation on using PhoneGap with AEM 6+ version for Mobile App development. Hi All, I am looking for solution to show workflow in the Timeline for any particular folder in the DAM. The timeline shows the workflow for any digital asset but for folder type and shows a message(The timeline is not available for the selected item type.) under it. Please suggest if we can somehow customise it to show the workflow for the activation of the folder and files under it in one go.

For example there are several services. One of services is very resource-intensive (makes high CPU load, IO). Respectively the service has big influence on the performance of other services. That is not acceptable because while resource-intensive background processing is taking place frontend-related services are very slow (users are waiting for pages).  Is it possible to prioritise a bundle or a service in Felix context? Thanks

Hi,is it possible to programmatically add permissions to a system user in AEM 6.1 (i.e. using java or maven)?This is my use case: I want to manually create the system users and give them the needed permissions.I tried to export the permissions stored in '/jcr:system/rep:permissionStore/crx.default/myuser' and then re-import, but I got an error saying that the path is protected (at least one other person had the same problem: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31460105/how-to-import-content-with-system-user).If I try to assign the permissions using java, then I have a chicken-egg problem: I need a service user with the right permissions to be able to assign the permissions. Or maybe there is a builtin system user that I could use for that?

Hi All, I was going through the https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/5-6-1/administering/bulk_editor.html and I am able to search all the assets through this utility. I added the Custom Properties / Columns as cq:tags to edit the tags using the export, but it doesn't show the the cq:tags for the asset. Is there anyway I can export all the assets with its metadata information and add a common tags for all the assets. As adding the same tags for so many assets is difficult process, so if anyway we can do it using the export, i will be great. Please suggest the solution which I can use for editing the assets in one go.
