Does AEM 6.1 sites OOTB offers end user profile and preferences (assuming his preferences are maintained with in his profile node as child nodes) sync up across publish instances  (publish farms)orIs this only available for user nodes only and that to only for AEM communities & not for AEM Sites -https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/communities/sync.htmlPlease clarify ?

 So i would like to ask before I spend the time prototyping this up if you think this is a sensible approach to a problem I am trying to solve.The issue: I have an Ecommerce site with a large number of categories. I don't want to load them all into AEM if I can help it. I want to be able to have a basic layout that all categories will use unless it is specifically overridden for a specific category.My solution:  There will be a layer between the front end and AEM, this will translate a url from say /shop/categoryA to /content/categories?categoryId=A and make a call to AEM.in AEM at /content/categories will be some logic that checks if this category has been created if so return it, if not return the generic category layout.Do you think this is a sensible approach? The layer between AEM and the front end can be taken as a given we will be implementing that. I'm more concerned about my plan to lookup categories in AEM does this seem like the best way to solve my problem.

Hi Community!I understand Marketo can tie the past digital activities to a certain email address once a lead clicks on the email sent through Marketo or fill out Marketo form.Yet I am not sure how log can Marketo date back to as per records made while a lead is seen as an anonymous one.Is it three month or a year? I should not be all the time since Munchkin code is embedded in websites?Thanks in advance!Tad

Hello, I have been trying to customize the "Web Page Activity" Report such that it would return leads that have a specific keyword in their Acitivty Log. I was able to create the report and it returns the Leads that meet the condition I created. However, when I click on the Page Activities column for one of the leads that appear in the report, all the activities in the activity log appear and not only the ones I filtered by. Is there a way I can get to see only the activities that meet the condition I created in the report? below is a clip I created to show what I'm doing. Thaks, Demo Video  

Hello!I am wondering if there is a simple way to track the "from who" on this.Say Bob Smith is in my SFDC/Marketo and we sent him an email with the "forward to a friend link". He fills out the pop up window with Jane Doe's contact information.What is the easiest way for me to see that Bob forwarded this to Jane? Can I somehow get Bob's information in Jane's activity history or set up a specific report? I want to make sure that this new lead will go to the appropriate person.Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,I sliced a jpeg in photoshop, uploaded the slices to Marketo, placed the html into an email and sent multiple tests to different email clients. I also checked the html in Dreamweaver. Everything seems to be fine, but once sent, the email shows up with gaps in between each slice. This doesn't happen when I send the email from any source other than Marketo. Why is this happening and is there anyway to fix it?

In the Rich Text Token I've noticed a recent shift where the div tag in the token itself will be written into the actual HTML of the email...This is an issue bc we have a registration link right after the token and it pushes the one click registration link to the next line. This started happening beginning of October. Hello allHow do you throttle (or flow rate) your deployments at 5k per hour, for example? It is important to us to throttle our campaigns especially when we have a large volume as this helps from a deliverability perspective.Most ESP's offer this however from my understanding this cannot be done in Marketo? Checked the functionality for shared content. Created one sharedContent entity and uploaded two js files in that. But facing problem for files with other mimetypes like images, css etc. Its throwing error "Bad mimetype found. Asset declared to be of mimetype application/javascript, but was found to be image/png".Checked the function uploadSharedContent in file /class/sharedEntity.php and found the following piece of code which is declaring mime type:$headers = $this->_setHeaders($this->mimetypes['json'], $this->mimetypes['js'], $this->parameters['client_upload_id']);I have followed the syntaxes in the API documentations and also from the example in the PHP example package /sharedContent/create_shared_entity.phpCan you please let me know if I am missing anything for uploading the css/images to shared entity.Thanks.

Hi all - I'm a bit confused by something and hope you guys can help me out. In InDesign, I'm trying to create a smooth scrolling document. My content is just big enough to fit a 1024 x 1900 document. I exported the document as a .article document, I created a new collection for this document and added this article to the collection and was looking forward to seeing this document in my app. Unfortunately, what I've got is some kind of zoomed out monstrosity. I did make sure to select smooth scrolling in InDesign when creating the article and I looked throughout the Collection options and Content options and don't see anywhere else to place smooth scrolling as an option. I'm a little bit lost here? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Has anyone tried to see what happens if a lead enters a flow step after after the end date /time of taht flow step (in case it's a fixed date wait)?-Greg

Hi,I have setup some programs with a landing page, thank you page, auto-response e-mail and form fill alert e-mail (set as operational e-mail). Everything seems to work alright except the form fill alert. Me and my sales team are constantly placed in a marketing suspended list which causes our e-mail addresses to not get the e-mail. The fact that we changed the setting of the form fill alert to an operational e-mail did not solve the issue.We get about 30-40 leads a day so it's crucial for the form fill alert to work. It's looks like a bug to me in Marketo, but someone here might have advice. Marketo support is not reachable in EMEA.Best,Mark

Hi all,We are currently working on an integration between Google Analytics and Marketo. We encountered unfortunately the problem that we have both subdomains (www.site.com and info.site.com) and subdirectories (www.site.com/de, www.site.com/en) what leads to the problem that goal conversions (specified as thank you pages of certain downloads) are not measured correctly per subdirectory.For this we are thinking about a solution where we would have 1 primary UA-tracking code (UA-XXXXX-1) for the main domain and subdomain (www.site.com and info.site.com). Of course we will exclude the subdirectories from this because we will give them all separate UA-tracking codes:(UA-XXXXX-2) for www.site.com/de(UA-XXXXX-3) for www.site.com/enetc. With Google Tag Manager we will fire both the UA tracking codes for the primary domain (UA-XXXXX-1) and the related subdirectory (UA-XXXXX-2, when a person is visiting the www.site.com/de). Is there any hope that the Article Name, or Collection Name will be revealed in the lists for Content, Collections, Migrations Tool, or as a Filter option?Content (& Collections) > Revealing article name (or collection name) would make it easier to find articles with the same title (for example, Table of Contents, Masthead, Editor's Letter, Index). In the example below, it would be more efficient to search for a particular "Masthead" for a particular issue month. Since DPS Classic favored the folio and article names in Folio Builder and Folio Producer, we've adopted this standard for internal documentation/communication, making the loss of the article or collection name in the BETA more painful. Hi,    I tried to trigger the workflow through launcher by configuring when node(nt:unstructured) modified workflow need to be called(i.e. When metadata of an asset gets modified). I am getting Null Pointer Exception for asset. But If I triggered the workflow manually it is working fine.Please guide me to resolve this issue.Regards,Kirithi

I am experiencing some very strange behavior with navto links in DPS solution articles.I have an article with a large button with this link:  navto://GRhodes_PofC_contents#1  --just the name of another article in the same collection, going to the second page.If I set up the collection so that the article with the navto link loads first, the button works.  If it is anywhere else in the collection (and I navigate there through a link from another article), the button is dead.  It is clearly reading the action because the <=back link doesn't appear at the top of the screen.  And no error comes up ('content not found'), instead it does nothing.  It seems like a bug, but I can't diagnose it.  I have not tried yet completely rebuilding the collection and articles on DPS, but that is my next step.Anyone else having this problem with unreliable strange behavior with navto links?

As per 6.1 release notes there is a known issue with the auto clean up of segment store in cold standby TarMK cluster. And the recommendation is to restart before running the cleanup. Does this mean that we should schedule manual restarts before the auto clean runs ? How can we schedule that as the standby auto clean job is triggered automatically when the size of the store increases 25% over sync cycle ? Or the recommendation is not to use auto clean and run offline compaction ? Oak TarMK Cold Standby: standby.autoclean removes too many segments. Recommendation is to restart the standby prior to running cleanup (CQ-40862)
