Hi,As the title mentions, what are the access rights required in order to configure variables in a report suite ? I have currently been given read-access to a report suite. I am now required to configure props and evars. Which roles or accesses should I be granted ? ThanksRobert

Hi, I've been trying to run next page flow reports in ad hoc analysis and I seem to be experiencing some latency issues. I started to run these reports yesterday evening and this morning i'm still experiencing the same issue - in some cases I can't even get to choose the page I want to run the pathing report on because it's just clocking. I've run these reports in the past and they typically do not take this long - I've asked other team members and they're all experiencing the same issue. Other reports such as visits report run perfectly fine.

Hi! While investigating some user flows I found that on some of our pages we use 3rd party cookie tracking. When I look at paths that should lead from pages with 1st party cookie tracking to pages with 3rd party cookie tracking, I find that the user session seems to be ended. I have only exits, whereas if I look the other way round, if I look at the pages with 3rd party cookies where their traffic is coming from, I find only entries, which isn't true. So the user session seems to be interrupted and tracking doesn't recognize the same users. Is that true? If this is the case, then I can't correlate the two sets of pages with each other, right? I can't build segments based on "visit" or "visitor" dimensions that capture both pages, or?

I recently classified and organised all of my product categories across 14 production suites. In most cases, the SAINT upload was to overwrite some old classifications to ensure that the experience was identical in each production suite.The issue I'm having is that despite uploading these new classifications, the old classifications are still appear under certain categories.Here's an example to explain what I'm experiencing:Under my Electronics Category, I wanted to separate specifically into Tablets, MP3 Players and Phones so I created a classification "Electronics Category". Under this category, I then defined each product as either a Tablet, MP3 Player or Phone.After I uploaded the file and having waited a few days for the SAINT classification file to upload fully, I find that when I go into the Electronics Category, I see other product types such as Digital Services which should not be present.I did a browser export of my file and found that in some cases, Digital Services were app

I was wondering if there was a way to give users Admin permissions for only specific Report Suites? I have a number of developers that need to create props, eVars, classifications, and other Admin specific actions for specific Report Suites, but do not need to have them for all Report suites. Is it possible to give this limited access?

While segmenting traffic from paid searches on our website I discovered that in segment manager there are 2 dimensions that seem to relate to the same thing, but the numbers slightly differ when applied in a report. What is the difference between dimension "Paid Search" and "Search engine - Paid"?

I accidentally created a marketing channel rule I want to remove.  Is there any way to remove it?  Just got off the phone with client care and they said there was no way to delete it and my only option would be to clear out the rules in the config. and move to the bottom of the process rules list.

When looking at the search engine reports for organic and paid traffic, if I apply a success event metric, e.g. registrations, what exactly does this figure tell me?How is it calculated? And what do the "Unspecified" line mean in this reports? As I understood it, it is similar to the "Nones" in other reports, which means that I should neglect it. But I did a test registration and I believe that it subsumed my registration under "unspecified" instead of the respective search engine. How's that possible?The thing is that in the search engine reports if I sum the figures for the natural search engninges and those of the paid search engines, these added totals are not the same as the totals below the line in each report. 

Hi,I'm a big fan of calendar events and make heavy use of them. But this can get quite annoying for reporting because all reports, no matter if the event concerns them or not, are marked with colorful lines and spots. I often get questions what do these lines mean, even though it doesn't concern the specific report but just the report suite.Is there a way to disable the calendar events for scheduled reports/dashboards?

Hi,After I created a new data warehouse request, I found there have been an old request still pending. So if I want to get my report from the new request as soon as possible, how should I do? Hi all,I need to track some links in a webpage and I have been looking at some work previously done. I saw a cookie being created (evar cookie) in the onclick function. I do not have a clear understanding as to why this cookie is created & how Omniture tracks it.Can anyone please shed some light on this? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!Cheers!

Every morning I am updating a sheet with year to date metrics adding the day prior. I am using a Key Metrics report broken down by day. My date range starts at 1/1/15 and ends at =Today()-1. The report layout is standard with additional dates being populated in the same column and metrics next to them. I am doing this for 20+ Report suites broken down by marketing channel resulting in over 200 report requests that need to be updated.Is it possible to only pull yesterday`s data without having to re-pull the request for the entire year? 

I am looking to find time spent on site for every single unique visitor grouped by individual minutes. At the moment all I can pull is a general breakdown ie. 1-5 mins, 10-30 mins etc.  I need this to be 1 min, 2 min, 3 min .  The business scenario is the calculation of headroom , so I need to see how long a group of users engages with the site.

I like the concept of measuring Content Velocity discussed here, but I'm not used to using Participation Metrics so I hope there's a Participation Metric guru out here that can help shed some light on my doubts... I am wondering if we can do a similar analysis but for conversion-related reports, specifically Internal Campaigns? Instead of understanding which page influences customers to view more content as Content Velocity does, the idea is to understand which internal campaigns do a better job at influencing customers to trigger the buying process. The Charles Proxy for Mobile Web shows an abnormal server call.  See attachment. If it safe to assume we have a problem tracking this platform based on the results from the Omniture server call?  Please advise.

Hi There,We have a Mobile Site and Omniture shows a Bounce Rate of approx. 8% which is ridiculously low (our main site's bounce rate is approx. 40%) and obviously not accurate.  Turns out that in Ad-Hoc you can choose whether or not to 'Count Repeat Instances' and by setting it to 'No' the bounce rate jumps from 8% to 60% - meaning that on the mobile site we have a huge amount of automated reloads, i.e. repeat instances, which if you count for them brings down the Bounce Rate to a non-report-able and unrealistic level.  Problem is, that we use Site-Catalyst and Report Builder for our reporting and I can't find a way to set them to not count for repeat instances the way i can do it in Ad-Hoc. Any suggestions?Dave 

Is there a way to exclude the hits related to a user by a specific parameter sent to Omniture, like the user-id? What I understood from the documentation is that this is not possible though processing rules. Is it?Excluding by the IP address or by cookie would not help this case because we cannot make sure this user would log in using the same workstation all the time.Any thought is much appreciated.

When breaking down an eVar by Operating System Types, the report for breaking down by Operating Systems is brought up instead.Also, sProps cannot be broken down by Operating System Types; only Operating Systems can be broken down.
