The Adobe Admin UI is a real mess which means that many clients are wasting tens of admin hours a month doing what should be simple, quick and easy tasks.Aspects of the UI and back-end are perhaps >10 years' old and not for for purpose.  Some actually weren't fit on day 1, and that was acceptable a decade ago but not today.This makes certain admin tasks uneconomic to undertake when they should take circa 15 mins.Such issues harm the [admin] user experience of Adobe Analytics, which in turn makes it harder to justify the product over Google Analytics. Adobe, are there any plans to make Admin slightly fit for purpose or ideally properly fit for purpose? For example my client has 100+ report suites, from two merged client accounts with some going back 7+ years’.  Here are some of admin issues that we face:ClassificationsThe back-end gets out of sync if Classifications are added / removedSo even if the UI looks ok, you can get lots of errors when you want to update multiple RSs at the s

Hi, we are seeing a sudden spike in our direct traffic. It has inflated by nearly 100%, plus this extra traffic is not having any attributed associated with it and everything is falling into none. This has increased our overall visit count, but the page views are consistent, indicating these are link calls which are setting a separate cookie other than the regular cookie. We cant see any extra hit on the browser debuggers. Is there any way to filter out the cause of these hits?Sanmeet

I am able to get Report Builder to sum the total unique visitors across two pages but not the total count of unique visitors across the two pages. It double counts the same visitor to both pages unlike SiteCatalyst's total. What am I doing wrong?Thanks in advance for your help.BK

We have added adobe cluster engagementCluster to evar52. But i am not sure how will i test it in the browser. It doesn't show up in adobe cloud debugger or in omnibug. Any help is appreciated.

I would like to construct a fallout report for others to consume.  In the past, I've relied on Report Builder for building/scheduling reports for others.Report Builder 5.0 enabled fallout reports, but it reports on page views and not visits...so that won't work.Reports & Analytics dashboarding doesn't permit fallout reports.What are my options rather than manually building the fallout report in Reports & Analytics?

Is it possible to look at the full path in which an order was placed (rather than showing the visit).  I have already created a segment to show only those that have an order greater than zero but I would like orders to be my metric on the path report, is that possible?Thanks - Tyler

Hi,I'm currently working on an implementation update and working through a new SDR  and deciding where to use sProps and where to use eVars.I wondered if anyone can find a reason (other than for pathing) why it would be preferable to use an sProp over an eVar set to expire on hit. My logic being that an a hit expiring eVar will provide all of the same traffic metrics (Page views, visits, uniques), plus additional on page success events i.e. PDF Downloads, Button clicks etc and more break down options.ThanksToby

Hi all,I want to build a saint for specific ranges. For example if the data is between 100 and 200 saint data should be "100-200", and "200-300" for the data between 200 and 300 etc...I tried to use  classification rule builder ( a{100-200} ) but couldn't make it. Hello All,If I open my web application in two different tabs and execute it. I fire success events from both the tabs.Some of my success events are serialized (i.e. I am recording once for the Visit).Will the same event that gets fired from both the tabs be counted as 1 OR 2?In short, will SiteCatalyst consider the two different instances of application as single visit or multiple visit?Also, my application does not require login.Please advise.Regards 

I recently updated the classifications and classification hierarchies of my 14 production suites so that they would be aligned across the board. My site uses unique keys for each help page and I updated each of these with friendly page names. When uploading the files, I didn't receive a notification that there were any clashes (there were friendly page names for these keys previously, though not all of them were completed). Instead they uploaded successfully. Now the issue I'm having is that when I navigate into the newly defined classifications for different products, it's showing me products of different categories and the old classification hierarchy as well as the new ones. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Will it just take some time to update? It's the lack of a row clashing message that's concerning me.Thanks.

I want to trend (daily over 1 year) how long it takes on average for a visitor to get from site entry (regardless of page) to page x. Any ideas on how to do this in Ad Hoc?

Hey guys,SiteCatalyst tracking pixels always contain a "g"-parameter with the current request URL with all its GET parameters.e.g. calling http://www.adobe.com/ch_de/?hello=world will trigger a tracking call which will contain "&g=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.adobe.com%2Fch_de%2F%3Fhello%3Dworld"Since this may contain some data that is not meant to be sent to a server in the US, do you know a way to strip some specific or all GET parameters from the tracking request without actually altering the document.location? Cheers,Bjoern

I am hoping to get some clarification on the differences between Bounces, Single Access and Single Page Visits. I have read this article already (multiple times) and feel it is not clear enough, especially based on some of the data I am seeing for these metrics. https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/kb/en_US/analytics/kb/comparing-bounces-and-single-access.htmlHere's the situation:When looking at bounces and single access from Site Catalyst (15), we are seeing these numbers be the exact same. Based on the definition in the Adobe documentation, I would expect these numbers to be different. The same can be said for when pulling the same metrics from Ad Hoc Analysis with Count Repeat Instances set to YES.When count repeat is set to NO, Bounces increase, which makes sense; however Single Access becomes almost equal to Entries (which is then saying every entry is a single access which is hard to believe).Additionally, prior to Aug 28, 2015, every click on our site was using the "S.T()"

When does a search engine count as such and not merely as a referring domain?I'm asking this question because if I look at our referring domains report it says that we have (for example) 159 Unique Visitors for the item "virgilio.it" (Referrer Type filter selected as "all"). But if I switch the Referrer Type to "Search Engines" I get only 70 Unique Visitors for the same item. Hi there,I have been asked to show the split of traffic to our company site between feature and smart phones.  Is this possible?  From what I have read, the mobile phone traffic from the mobile > device type report only represents smart phone traffic.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!I'd like to measure the CTR of certain internal elements. Until now I know how they perform, I know how many clicks a banner, a link etc. gets, but I do not know the Click through rate, since the pure rendering is not being tracked. I hv some elements which are shown to only a limited user group and I'd like to track the rendering AND the clicks on it. Can I track the rendering of elements?

I'm getting a bucket of "None" in my marketing channels reports and check the campaign values to see if I missed something setting up the processing rules. I'm seeing some email and social values that should be captured in the rules.  I double-checked my rules to see if they were set up properly and I believe they are.   For example, the Email rule specifies a source value of "email" (and others) should be included in that bucket.  Most of the "email" is getting put into the appropriate bucket, but some is put into the "none" bucket. Any ideas?

Hi Community,Hoping for a bit of advice regarding form tracking:At present we have a form on our website where each page fires a success event for example page 1 fires "form loaded", first field of the form fires "form started", page 2 fires "form page 2" event and so on till the submit button at the end fires "form completed", as each of these events fires the eVar with the name of the form and the page name is fired too. We are implementing a new form and I am undecided as to wether or not to reuse the same events or not as the event names would have to be generic and therefore any conversion funnels would have generic names that would not be understood by the wider business.Would it then be better to have each page of each form have a unique event or am I overthinking this?

A month ago we started recieving this error for a job that was scheduled and had been working for the last 53 attempts. Now the scheduled FTP job fails but when we create an adhoc request the file comes through email fine. Our FTP details from our end have not been changed as other file feeds are conntinuting without failure. Anyone else having these issues or know with whom I should contact at Adobe?Error: "Request failed to send. Please check send parameters and destination connectivity." Thanks for the help

Something like a /me endpoint that provides information about the authenticated user. I'd like to record the information so that when the account needs to reauthenticate we can show information to the user so they know which account they authenticated.

I currently have a report that show's me the less active page. I'm trying to insert it into a dashboard. However, every time that I do it pull back up the default and show the most active pages. How do I get the dashboard to pull the less active pages instead.

Hi there,The community helped me previously in tracking feature phone traffic using an html image tag, which is working 100%.  The only problem now is that for some reason the company that built our 2nd brands mobi site developed it as an xml site. So an image tag is not an option.  Is it possible to track feature phone traffic on an xml site or is this totally out of the question?Thanks in advance.Lisa.

My question is this:I need to log an event via the cookie writer to ... gs.c_w(...).  I only see examples of adding eVars to the cookie, but not events.  I've asked around and no one seems to know how exactly to do this.  I'm rather new to Omniture so you'll have to forgive my ignorance a bit.  :)Thanks in advance!
