I like the concept of measuring Content Velocity discussed here, but I'm not used to using Participation Metrics so I hope there's a Participation Metric guru out here that can help shed some light on my doubts... I am wondering if we can do a similar analysis but for conversion-related reports, specifically Internal Campaigns? Instead of understanding which page influences customers to view more content as Content Velocity does, the idea is to understand which internal campaigns do a better job at influencing customers to trigger the buying process. Hi everyone, I am looking to audit all of the custom context data variables being collected on my site as I don't think all are being passed into props, vars or events. I want to know if there is a quick and easy way to display a list of all custom context data variables in Adobe Analytics other than using the Processing Rules drop down menu. Thanks Tobz

The Charles Proxy for Mobile Web shows an abnormal server call.  See attachment. If it safe to assume we have a problem tracking this platform based on the results from the Omniture server call?  Please advise.

Hi There,We have a Mobile Site and Omniture shows a Bounce Rate of approx. 8% which is ridiculously low (our main site's bounce rate is approx. 40%) and obviously not accurate.  Turns out that in Ad-Hoc you can choose whether or not to 'Count Repeat Instances' and by setting it to 'No' the bounce rate jumps from 8% to 60% - meaning that on the mobile site we have a huge amount of automated reloads, i.e. repeat instances, which if you count for them brings down the Bounce Rate to a non-report-able and unrealistic level.  Problem is, that we use Site-Catalyst and Report Builder for our reporting and I can't find a way to set them to not count for repeat instances the way i can do it in Ad-Hoc. Any suggestions?Dave 

Is there a way to exclude the hits related to a user by a specific parameter sent to Omniture, like the user-id? What I understood from the documentation is that this is not possible though processing rules. Is it?Excluding by the IP address or by cookie would not help this case because we cannot make sure this user would log in using the same workstation all the time.Any thought is much appreciated.

When breaking down an eVar by Operating System Types, the report for breaking down by Operating Systems is brought up instead.Also, sProps cannot be broken down by Operating System Types; only Operating Systems can be broken down.

Hi- I recently launched Paypal and am now seeing it show up as a referral (since when you pay, you are taken off site to paypal.com then you come back in).I know I can set up a rule to exclude this traffic from referral, but because we use a last click attribution model for conversions- where would those conversions get attributed to? I want to ensure that if I exclude it as referral, that the tracking in place is retained and the true last click is attributed instead of stripping that and having no attribution of that sale (before they are taken to paypal.com). Thanks 

While trying to filter direct traffic, I experienced that when applying the segment in the key metrics report the values for success events and traffic don't match when applied in the "Referring Domains" report. When appying the segment in the referring domains report the totals don't even match with the line item for direct traffic. Shouldn't they match?Pls see the screenshot attached for better understanding.

Hello, we have a problems setting some variables. We manage many websites and we have always used the same SiteCatalyst configuration rules for each country site that we are tracking.However, for the country UK, the website A, we are not able to find the eVar related to Previous Page Name, Previous Page Type, Previous Site Section, Adobe Visitor ID on any page we are visiting.While this problem for the Italian website B is not present.In particular, by analyzing both sites, we found out that on the Italian site the s_ cookies from Adobe are correctly set (please see attached file), while in UK site it does not (please see what is the message on the British site in the attached file).Can you please help us?Thank you very much

Hi,I'm wondering if it is possible to push data back to Adobe that let's us know when a trialer has made a conversion. We would like this in a cohort view (and event time if possible). For example, if we have 100 people start a 30-day trial in January, I would want to see how many of those people converted overtime. This data is stored in our back end systems so I assume that some sort of data push would need to happen.Thanks,Sara

Hi Adobe power users, I am using Report Builder in Excel to schedule reports to various members of the business myself included. However, I have not received these reports since Monday 27th July! Other recipients in the business are still receiving these so I could just ask them to forward them on but that's not really a smart solution. I was the one who scheduled the reports originally so I have tried to delete and re-schedule the same using the Excel Scheduler but with no luck :( Are there any outstanding known issues with report builder scheduling? I have also asked my IT department to check my account isn't blocking @adobe or @omniture email addresses and so far that came back negative... ThanksGary

Wondering why segments disappear when I try to select them?So far this has happened me at least 3 times yesterday and twice today already ( and many times in the past). When selecting a segment I built  in the Table Builder in Ad Hoc ( to open/change), they disappear.  It would be like I've clicked the "x" to remove them. This seems to be happening with more frequency and it deletes the segment I am trying to work on forcing me to re-create. This also ties into a larger questions as to why there isn't a confirmation layer to "close" out anything in Ad Hoc. I can accidentally delete ( or in the case with the segments they just delete themselves), metrics, dimension, even workspace with the "x" and don't get a confirmation prompt where I can choose to delete or cancel and not lose the data. 

Is there an issue getting into Customer care  using my current login?

HiWe added bunch of tags to capture certain events on app like button click on an overlay displayed. How can i generate the report in Omniture for these custom events? The developer says he has put the tracking code in the app but i am not sure where can i see these events metrics.Any help appreciated.ThanksBharath

I'm facing an issue with firefox browser version 34.0.5 and 20.0. I'm not able to access Sitecatalyst due to following causes. Once Sitecatalyst home page it is completely loaded I can type Company/Username/Password but version button has been hidden. So i am getting an error "Please choose a valid version".Please help me out, Please find the screenshot for your reference.Note: I'm absolutely fine with all other browser like IE, Chrome, safari.

On July 9th, 2015, I noticed in my reporting that traffic coming from Bing without a query string parameter for keyword is being logged as Referrer Type "Other Web Sites", it should be logging as Search Engine.Consequently, this is breaking the several canned reports.  For those reading this that don't understand how search engine detection works for Adobe Reports and Analytics...FROM Supportfor any qualified search engine, it has to satisfy two conditions first is...it should be recognized search engine, which in this case Bing isand second is...it should have a valid query parameter as per our recordsbut since they have started stripping off the query parameters, referrer type is being credited as "Other Web Sites", this is breaking several reports under Traffic SourcesSearch EnginesPaid SearchesReferrer TypeAs this is a canned report for Adobe Reports and Analytics, I would hope that this is an urgent fix.  Can you please provide an update on this and when we should expect a fix.  A

Hi,I am looking at some of the overview metrics in our mobile marketing site. When I select data for the last week, it shows a Total Session Length of 24.63 minutes and number of Users is 3,757. With so many users one would expect a much higher Total Session Length. Unless users install the app, open it, never use it and close or put it in the back ground immediately. However....the Average Session Length is mentioned as 2.23 minutes. But if I multiply Average Session Length by number of Users (as each User is at least 1 session), the Total Session Length should be nearer to (2.23 * 3,757 😃 8,378 minutes (~139 hours), not 24.63 minutes.Is it possible the Users is misinterpreted ? Could these users have logged in last week, session has been closed (causing low Total Session Length), but Adobe still counts them as a User ?Thanks for any thoughts.RegardsRobert

When we use delimiters (pipes or colons) in the tracking code for acquisition links, the IOS SDK translates those into actual pipes or colons when it stores the tracking code in Analytics. But the Android SDK saves the url-encoded version of the delimiter. (source%7Cmedium%7Cetc instead of source|medium|etc)Is there any way for us to fix this?Or, is it possible to fix this in the SDK?We would like to use delimiters to keep tracking codes consistent with web tracking codes.

In the 4.x SDK, if the app launches from the background less than five minutes from the previous launch, it counts as a resume, but past five minutes (by default) it counts as a new launch. Was it the same way in 2.x? Was there a time distinction between resume and launch, or some analogue of the lifecycleTimeout field? Also: where can I find documentation about 2.x? I have some legacy code that had it (which is no longer in production) and am frequently asked about how things have changed. Questions like that are hard to answer if I don't know how it should have behaved when the code was using the 2.x version of the SDK. 

When using the Adobe SDK 4.5.5 we see that the acquisition: server and appid properties from the configuration ADBMobileConfig(Dev/Prod).json are composed to a http://server/appid url.On iOS 9 however the http request will only result in a faulty response as Apple is enforcing https (TLSv1.2) connections throughout the App.This would result in “stuff”, “uuid” and “dcs_region” to be not properly fetched. All other requests fired by the Adobe SDK properly connect to the specified https endpoind.Are we doing something wrong in configuring the initial request or is there an update scheduled?
