Dear Friends,I wanted to know and learn about channel reports. How do they work and how do we measure? For example we are looking at all the visits, revenue, conversion and orders for both the Channels, who came through Bing.  Thats Last Touch and Cross Participation. Will the visits for Cross participation be higher? What will the metrics look like? What will be the difference in reports. What will be accurate report?Please help!! Thank you,

Hi, we're using SiteCatalyst H26.2 and we are currently calling tracking script on a page which uses other js to populate other parts of the page. We are getting intermittent issues that if the page hasn't loaded before the omniture script runs, the page is blank. The source shows html but the page is empty. This has happened on another page in our site with similiar functional. We get a workaround but setting an interval but wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there is a way for the omniture script to not cause a white screen?Thanks in advance

Editing Adobe Analytics (formerly SiteCatalyst) dashboards has become more difficult since the latest release. When viewing the dashboard in layout/edit mode the only option for scrolling is my mouse. The scroll bar has disappeared. I used this a lot! please restore.Deets; using FireFox 29.0.1

I built new prop variables to know effect of links on internal site.So if visitor move following case, how many participation number each variables could get?visitorA: pageA > pageB(prop1="c1_link1") > pageC(prop1="c1_link2") > pageA > pageD(event1)visitorB: pageB(prop1="c1_link1") > pageA > pageD(event1)I think SiteCatalyst would count like this.prop1 report:c1_link1    event1:participation = 2c1_link2    event1:participation = 1Because SiteCatalyst regards both variables contribute to event1.If my recognition is wrong, please let me know.

Am I able to copy IP exclusions to other report suites, or can I set them at the account level without using a VISTA rule or Firewall?

Dear community,In our company we've designed a website were we are going to use infinite scroll on section pages but also on article pages. When the article page is loaded it will load the first 3 articles. The visitor can now scroll through these articles and read them. When the visitor gets at the second half of the 3rd article the next 3 articles are automatically loaded in the background. This way the visitor can read articles without having to click.The problem now is what the best way would be to measure this in Adobe Analytics (Omniture SC15). Our business want to know which article is loaded and hopefully read. The website is still in development but there is a website called www.qz.com who works the same as what we want to do.I hope you can help.Kind regardsTimm

While the new permissions settings are great, it looks like there could be a glitch. We have users that have ReportBuilder licenses and I have granted access to the appropriate report suites, they can get logged in but when opening an existing ARB report, the get the error to refresh the queries and get the CSV of permission errors, which was done. In reviewing the errors it is reporting them on the report suite that they have access to, so why would they get this error? I second the comment posted by another individual, in which the new functionality is needed, but if it isn't going to work do NOT get rid of 4.7 and we are switching back. 

Hi, I have created a new segment in the new Sitecatalyst interface(released in last Month) and I cannot see that segment in the Reportbuilder. Please could you let me know if anything I have missed. Also  for some reason, the latest version of Reportbuilder is not reflected in my excel plugin (v5.0)(when I click on Help section) even though I installed the latest Reportbuilder Plugin.Let me know if you need anything from meThanks-Sri

I am working on a basic implementation of DTM on a secure site. When I navigate the site, I can see the data that should be set in the debugger as well as in the browser console. The tool and rules are firing as expected. However, when I log in to adobe analytics to view the data, there is none. I have checked and doublechecked the suite ID and just about everything else I could think of. I compared it to a successful implementation and both are configured alike. Has anyone ever had a similar experience?Thanks!Chad 

While in the Report Suite Administration, I was curiously looking through Video Reporting Configurations.Report Suite AdminEdit Settings > Video Management > Video ReportingI clicked on Video Core chose Solution Variables, in which case the process completes and I have no ability to change the configuration or turn off the Video Reporting for that Report Suite.Does this mean that only client care can set it back to disabled or swap between Solution Variable config and Custom eVar config?

Is anyone having trouble with Segments not behaving the same in Data Warehouse as they do in Reporting Analytics since the update?  Data that is segmented in Reporting and Analytics is not being segmented in Data warehouse.  The segment in question uses a Hit container and applies to pages with a certain pattern  

Hi Adobe team, Since the changes to the new segment manager have been live last week, we have not been able to access the panel and segment manager and utilize any segments in our reports. The panel just shows the loading blocks and never pulls in list of segments.We are certain that the issue is with our firewall or proxy servers (everything works outside the network), but our IT team cannot identify which IP addresses/URLs or encryption/decryption processes need to be configured for this to work.Can anyone please provide us some technical details of these areas as our IT team are struggling to resolve this and it is severely impacting our reporting and analytics capabilities. Client care could not help and we are lost for options here. Much appreciated,Thanks,Alan

My company has not enabled the ability to upgrade report builder to 5.0, so even if I download it it won't load in excel.  I am trying to refresh the segment list in Report Builder 4.7 to show newly created segments from Site Cat.  I have logged out and logged back in to both report builder and site cat.  How do I see my new segments in Report Builder?  There is no "refresh" in 4.7.

Hi, I want to create a new segment on "return visits from organic search" in SC 15. I know how to create a segment on return visits and I saw "organic search" in "pre-configured". But I don't know how to create a new segment that combines 2 conditions. To be specific, I don't know how to create organic search segment. In the "pre-configured", i saw it was setup as "paid search equals 0". However, i could not find "paid search" when choosing from the drop-down menu "where"; what I could see relevant are only "search engine-organic" or 'search keywords-organic".Can anyone tells me how to create organic search segment? So i can combine two conditions to create "return visits from organic search". Thanks!

There were many Adobe updates and changes this past weekend. Since this past weekend the Adobe Marketing Cloud > Reports & Analytics > Admin Tools > Publishing Widgets set up in Adobe are failing to send data to the pages. Usual troubleshooting has taken place - code replaced, re-saved, cookies cleared - these actions usually work whenever there is an interruption in the data feed. Is this occurring to anybody else?

HiDid a search and couldn't find this issue already raised.  Since the last release we have seen Unknowns or fields greyed out in several of our segments.  For example, we have a few regional segments and some of countries are now marked as 'Unknown' or have been greyed out e.s Soloman Islands.  I have been unable to resave these as advised as the option is greyed out also. This is very frustrating as we have many segments that have this issue and we now have to re-create these figuring out what the missing countries are. Is anyone else having this issue or can someone tell me how I can fix this? Thanks

Since April we are no longer able to utilise proxxy debuggers/packet sniffers like Charles or Bloodhound.From an IT perspective, we have tested this on external ADSL connections both in the office and at my house to make sure network isn't the barrier. It's also been tested on Mac OS, a build windows machine and my own windows machine to make sure policies and OS aren't getting in the way. The issue experienced is that all the devices on the network can't access the proxy server created by Bloodhound.Does anyone know how to fix this issue?Thanks!

Hi, I need to track attributes of a user profile just as gender, job title, etc, however I don't want to upload any of my data into Adobes cloud services. Is there a way customize Site Catalyst to pull that information from my database, as opposed to me having to upload it?

Hi All, Does anyone here ingest their data feed into an on-site data warehouse. We recently have been seeing either corrupted rows or information that is being parsed into an additional row which is causing problems. I have tried to contact ClientCare to understand why the data feed is including these problematic rows but I have yet to get a response. Does anyone have a recommendation? Thanks, Greg
