can't login to report builder-error is user login unsuccessful. this is not due to any issues with credentials. can anyone help?

If my website has 2 DNS servers that are both valid and working, will the Analytics be combining the metrics into one suite or will it separate them based on the host name?For example, if www1.mysite.com/index.html and www2.mysite.com/index.html both point to the same source, how will the Analytics Suite handle the metrics. Separately or Combined.

Hi,I tried to create summary report of the site with Report Builder.I found metrics "mobile daily visitor(Sorry, I am not sure it is correct name in English.)" in request window.But I didnt find detail definition of this metrics on help site.I checked mobile visitor number that have value data in mobile device report.But it didn't correspond.If I would get its description, I want to use this metrics.I am very sorry for my poor English.Tomo

My company is using Adobe Marketing Cloud. We wanted to try and use analytics to log values like Google analytics dose it (Google analytics log values)I have been reading thru the documentation and cant find anything similar. Does anyone of you know if it's possible to do this?

How do we set up these events that are normally predefined in Omniture?  We are not seeing any of this data in our reporting metrics.  Only visits and pageviews.  I can't see revenue, orders or units.  We are only using DTM to track our site, no Adobe Analytics.

I've read that Google is having "issues" with IE8 and is not passing any referrer data. This is translating to a significant reporting impact for us (as IE8 is our 2nd most popular browser) in that we're unable to separate true organic traffic and true non-sourced/bookmark traffic. Are there any thoughts on when Google may have this issue resolved?

I am seeing about 10% or so of my traffic coming in that isn't being tracked as anything but a visit. No customer evars or sprops are firing, not out of the box tracking, accept for location information. I do get page name, but not the assigned pagename in the html scode. It has been defaulted to the URL. My developers and I are hard pressed to find why this is happening. My assumption is that the variables in the s. functions are empty or blank, but I"m not sure how that could be happening. Any thoughts?

Greetings,We currently have a report suite for our mobile site and another for our main site.  I'm looking at having the devs combine the mobile traffic into our main site suite and I'm wondering if:1.) Is this a best practice?2.) If so, should we differentiate page names between each site?  e.g. Home Page and Home Page - Mobile3.) should you use the e.Vars and s.props #'s for both sites?4.) any additional pros or cons would be helpful.I've been at 4imprint for quite some time but, never had any formal training so, take it easy on me.Thanks in advance,Shawn

I opened a fairly involved Report Builder workbook this morning...and I now get a message that all of the segments I've been using in the queries are deleted. They're not deleted, and "Edit Multiple" made it pretty easy to reconnect the queries to the original queries en masse, but I now have "Deleted Segment: <segment GUID>" as a second segment for each of my queries. If I edit the individual query, I get a message that I'm trying to use a deleted segment, and I can just click through and refresh the query and that faux ghost of a segment goes away. But...I don't really want to click through multiple dozens of queries across multiple workbooks. Batch query refreshes don't seem to knock out the "deleted" segments.My suspicion was that segments had to be "upgraded" behind the scenes and that, somehow, that allowed some links to these segments to break.(FWIW, I had the same issue with both Report Builder 4.7.x and 5.0.x. I initially hoped that upgrading to 5.0 would fix the issue -

HowdyI've got a single page form with a number of s.tl() calls on the page to capture the field and button interactions through the form.My question is whether the visit and visitor count for each s.tl() call is unique to each button and if a visitor visits multiple times does it remember the previous visitor? Also, if the s.tl() call is fired on an onchange event does this mess up the visit/visitor count?The reason for this question is that I have an s.tl() call fire on a spinner page (form submission processing page) which visitors can't interact with.The s.tl() fires on an onchange event and populates a prop/evar and fires an event to capture the stage of form that has just been interacted with. Once done the visitor can't return to the form as the confirmation page displays. The only way to fire it again is to complete the form and visit to visitor ratio is around 1. To my way of thinking the visit and visitor count for this prop should always be one to one.However, what I'm seeing

Hi,I am currently experiencing an issue with trying to remove certain terms from the dataset when exporting data from Adobe Analytics to Excel.I have filtered by the top 10 terms but then filtered the results again by selecting the options 'does not contain any term "text"' and 'does not contain the phrase "text"' to try and remove these terms, but the certain "text" terms I am trying to remove from the results still then appear in the list.Does anybody know why this is continuing to happen and how I can remove the results I do not wish to appear from the final data?ThanksJack

Hello I have an Excel file with multiple queries. If I edit 2 or more queries simultaneously I not updated until I click on "refresh all". However, if you only update only one query, this starts fresh spike on nothing more than "finish". So I can not keep working and changing other inquiries, until it finishes updating. Report Builder can be configured so that the modified queries are not updated until you do it manually?Sorry for my english and thanks in advance

Some of the links that differ in query strings are being stripped out by default during data processing, hence I applied s_objectID to rotating banners on home.The banners are populating dynamically. We want to track which banner is more effective, however the code is not working. Our site http://www.greedyrates.ca is a lead generation website. We're getting lots of "direct" referrals in Google Analytics now. Any chance Adobe can help us overcome the issue? Close to 60% of all referrals are now qualified as direct, almost impossible to get a good read on which sites and or keywords are working.

I'm seeing bizarre behavior in ReportBuilder 5.0 with list variables and was wondering if anyone else is seeing the same thing. When I select a list variable, everything in the build of the query goes fine...but what gets returned is actually a list of states -- it looks to be from the standard Geo reporting. That same list1 variable works fine in Reports & Analytics and in Ad Hoc Analysis -- the values aren't remotely related to what is being returned through Report Builder. I tried it on another list variable and got the same result -- a list of states.I've attached a screen cap.Anyone else seeing that sort of behavior?

Hi,Went from RB v4.7 to v5 after the release since it seemed like it could be hugely beneficial but apparently Adobe released a very faulty and buggy piece of software. So uninstalling it and going back v4.7 created a huge amount of issues, none of which resulted in RB working.Long story short, new laptop running Win 7 and Excel 2013 (About reports 32 bit version) and neither v4.7 or v5.0 (further, not even 32 or 64 bit versions) work. Nothing. Doesn't come up on the Add-Ins tab; going to add-ins under options shows that sometimes Report Builder bridge is active, sometimes inactive, sometimes not there (depending on the install or its mood).This is hugely frustrating and I desperately need help. It would be enough just to get back to where I was before this mess but I can't. I am loosing a lot of time since many Excel dashboards are build around RB and they just cannot be run.Please help.

Running into strange behavior in Reports & Analytics with the Return Visits report returning a significantly lower volume than Visits with Visit Number > 1.  This occurs even at the suite level, with no segmentation, just straight up total numbers.  And not just by a bit either, the Return Visits report is reporting about 32% fewer visits than using Visit Number > 1.  Furthermore, one of the analysts on my team uses the Return Visits report for monthly reports, and this month the Return Visits report started coming back with a much lower number.  Specifically, he used the same Return Visits report to pull March 2014 data today, and it was about 30% lower than that same report for March 2014 that he ran earlier this month.  Any insight would be much appreciated! As per Adobe help, this should be impossible:Definition of reportsVisit Number: Each visit is assigned a visit number, based on a virtual cookie. Hi,I'm restricted to using the legacy s_code Javascript library. I've generated the code inside the Omniture web interface (Admin/Code Manager), so:- s_account got set to that certain suite- s.visitorNamespace and s.trackingServer got set as wellI'm getting 200 HTTP response codes when I post data to the server, but still not seeing any data coming through in Omniture (I've been sending a bunch of times, over the past few days).Is there any other configuration that I need to set in my code? In AEM 5.6.1 duplicate node names at the same level were given unique names automaticallynode1     =>           node1        html       =>         html    html       =>         html[1]This is not true in AEM 6. If you programmitically create the same node structure, you will get a duplicate node exception.  It seems that JCR3 does not automatically unique names. Is this by design? It is a difference in versions, and is compelling me to rewrite a bunch of code.  Is there a system setting that could adjust this?

We have noticed that sometimes in AWS, it takes a while for our author instances to be in-sync. If we run our functional tests before the author instances are completely in-sync, when the tests hit the dispatcher, they might be routed to a yet-unsynced instance and fail.Is there a way (ideally a REST call) to check if author instances are in-sync before starting our functional tests?Thanks.
