Hi,I have a question about the 'Then' function when creating a segment.If I create a segment like this:page = homepage then after 1 page viewpage = product pageDoes this mean that I am looking for user who saw the home page, then saw any other page and then saw a product page? What if a user views the home page, then an info page followed by a help page and then a product page, will they be included in the segment?Thanks,Frank

Hi all,I've recently started working with a client that has approximately 30 different mobile apps in market. Instead of having different reporting suites and Mobile Services Apps for each app, they created one reporting suite and one "App" for all of their mobile app traffic. I am of the opinion that each should be tracked separately, but the customer doesn't want me to lose the reporting views that they have gotten used to. How can I transition them into seeing each app separately within Mobile Services without eliminating their current data views?Thanks,SDB

I need to export a list of all our Report Suites with their Titles. I just need this data and not all the set up for each Report Suite.

Hi there,I have a problem interpretating my report in Omniture properly. In the category "Search Keywords - All/paid/natural" Omniture gives me two variables I don´t know what to do with.* keyword unavailable  -     (about 24% of my keawords - This must have something to do with Googles Search Encryption but can I do something against this?)* Unspecified -     (this makes up almost 74% of my keywords. What is this about? I found this article but I´m afraid it doesn´t suit my problem: https://helpx.adobe.com/analytics/kb/none-unspecified-and-unknown.html) As you can see. Only about 2% of my keywords are interpretable. Is there something to do against this?Also under the main category "Site Content" I have the sub category "Article/Video Title" on my page. In my report the biggest share of visited pages on my site (again 75%) accounts for a variable named "not_set" and I don´t know what to do with this variable since it makes any analyses non sense.Any ideas?Thanks in advance for your he

Hi!I'm trying to build a segment, that includes visitors that has had an instance of an event 1 month prior to the present. I want to use the segment in target for re-targeting among other things. I other words, I want to build a rolling segment.The best way I've been able to come up with, is setting events for this particular purpose, that have an expiration of 1 month (in this case), but this wouldn't give us the flexibility we require and it would also require re-tagging. Hi all!We use participation metrics to evaluate a page, or groups/types of pages, and whether they are contributing to conversions, like 'request pricing', 'document downloads', etc.When we run reports in the GUI, you will always get, at the bottom of the report, tons of other page with zero visits and zero page views, but will have values for one or more of the participate metrics..I assume....the eVar holding the page name is set to expire on the visit, so I am not sure what is happening, but that is easy to filter out.BUT, when we run page reports in Data Warehouse, we have two issues:If we have more than 2-3 participate metrics, the number of lines in the report MASSIVELY balloons...so a site with approx. 50,000 total pages including parts calalogs etc. winds up exporting files that have over 10 million lines...which is kinda difficult to handle   :-[   And, it will only sort ascending, so I can't limit the # of lines in the report...We've tried various segments with logic like 'pa

I have a question regarding the Return Frequency Report.  It automatically lists out Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors.  The first report I pulled was the Pages Reports and edited the Metrics to include Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors.  I haven't used the Return Frequency Report for delivering any reports before so I'd like to make sure I have answers before passing it along to my colleagues.  Between the Return Frequency Report and the Pages Report, which both provide the same Metrics for the same time range, the Page Views and Unique Visitors are equal.  Although, the number of visits are differing.  In the Pages Report they are 1,072 and the Return Frequency Report only 871.  What would be the reason for this when the Page Views and Unique Visitors are adding up?Thanks!

Hello,There is a significant amount of bot traffic hitting one particular page on my site. This traffic is coming from Typed/bookmarked, has 0 second visit duration, and views 1 page and leaves. The issue is so significant it's causing this to be the 2nd top entry page on the site. My issue is that when I pull these IP addresses from Data Warehouse, there are hundreds of them. When I change the time frame, some of them overlap but I see hundreds more. This would be really easy if it was just a few IP addresses to block, but it seems to be a dynamic list of IPs with all different domains, browsers and operating systems.In this case, what can I do?Thanks,Cristine

Hi there,on our site we are tracking error codes which happen when users register themselves. We collect these error codes in one eVar. Now I have the problem that these error codes are just codes and I need to classify them to give them meaningful names. If I have one value per item this is no problem, but how do I classify them if I get more codes per eVar, e.g. "eVar1=Error Code A, Error Code B, Error Code X"? The formatis always the same, the codes are separated by commas. Is there a way to do this or do I have to content myself with classifications for items with only one value and as soon as it is a combination I'll have to do this by myself in Excel?Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,Could you please help me to understand how to link properly Adobe Analytics to AdWords in order to see the bounce rate in AdWords?I am running some campaigns in AdWords using a parameter in the URL. Then this parameter is correctly set up in Adobe Analytics (Paid Search Detection), and I am able, on the tracking code report, to see the data (bounce rate, visits etc.) BUT I do not see in AdWords the bounce rate coming from Adobe, that would make my life easier in order to optimize the campaigns.How can I see the bounce rate in AdWords? What should I do or configure?Many thanks for helping.

Running into a LOT of issues refreshing reports in Sitecatalyst. All too frequently when changing segments, dates, or site, for some reason the page will refresh but will not update anything. Even worse, it will often time out after a short amount of time and upon refresh load the default setup that you normally encounter when you first log in. On the default dashboard all the data is blank.

Hi,if I want to see only those users that found their way to our site only through organic traffic, I have to be aware that some users enter directly our site but then during their visit use a search engine for navigation. If such a user leaves the site during his visit and returns via search engine, he is also counted as organic traffic, right? How do I get then the real original organic traffic users and not only those who used search engine for navigation? (I am using reports & analytics only)

A client had dynamic creative built in Google studio.  Depending on the CTA featured in the creative, a different landing page URL is applied to the creative.  There is a google drive document that houses the landing page URL for each variation of creative as directed by Google Studio.  We are using DCM as our ad server. We have noticed since launching the creative that the dynamic creative seems to be overriding the landing page URL suffix applied in DCM.  thus no Omniture tracking is occurring with the new dynamic creative.  Does anyone know a workaround to be able to track the clients website traffic that is attributed to adverting. We can only think of creating different versions of dynamic creative for each vendor, but are hesitant as if we add any new vendors to this campaign, creative production costs would be needed for each new vendor.  Thank you in advance. 

Hi,Would it be possible to get something in place within Workbench which allows a max/min etc capability ? This would work in the same way as total( ) but would obviously be max ( ) . There is already a max, but this does the maximum of two different metrics rather than the maximum of a single metric.Why would this be useful ? - I'm doing some indexing to bring together differing metrics that all have different scales, I'm doing this (in excel) by index to max, but I can't see anyway to do this within Workbench. It would be very useful and timesaving to have this feature. If its easy to do it would be very useful to have extensive options min ( ) , avg ( ) , upper quartile ( ) lower quartile ( ) etc etc

With a bookmarked report in Reports & Analytics, how can I tell exactly how the report was initially created? In other words, how can I determine what the exact path of the initial report that it is based on, as well as other options like the Preset Date Range?I am reporting for a client that switched reporting suites and am trying to recreate some bookmarked reports in the new one, but I can't find anywhere that specifies exactly how a report was built, and some of the numbers seem suspiciously high enough to make me think I haven't duplicated the report setups correctly. (I was not involved at all in implementation and many others have access.) It might not even be possible to duplicate exactly due to the implementation differences. For example, I have some bookmarked "Original Entry Pages" reports in the original suite that I think (but am not 100%) are built by following:View All Reports > Paths > Pages > Entries & Exits > Original Entry PagesBut in the new repo

I created a Segment control using Report Builder's Request Wizard. The Wizard referred to it by cell address, like "SheetA1".  I then cut the control from the Excel file. There was no option to delete it. The Wizard then referred to the Segment control within the Segment selection as #REF and I can find no way to delete the obsolete choice from the drop down. So what is the proper way to delete obsolete segment control references? Thanks, BK

Hello,I'm not a developer myself so I'm not intimate to server vs. client side implications, but I am in charge of designing technical specs for our implementation. I recently found this article from a previous discussion posted on the board: https://marketing.adobe.com/developer/documentation/data-insertion/c-limitations  I have a couple of questions after reading this:This first is a question one of my tech leads always asks me, is it preferable to implement server-side or client-side? what is the best practice? I'm seeing that our developers opt to implement server-side when possible, but it seems like that comes with a high degree of difficulty given the back and forth we always go into when implementing.We don't use a tag managment system yet but are thinking about implementing DTM. Does sever vs client side implementation affect in any way how to implement DTM? Again, what is the preferred way to do it?Thanks!
