Does anyone use the "Customer Loyalty" reports, and are the numbers believable? I have downloaded some data around this, and found that the categories for new, return and loyal bear very little resemblance to the actual customers that we have.(when comparing number of transactions by individual customer vs categorisation in Adobe). Although the reports would be great to use, there is very little use in having them if they are vastly inaccurate. Also, what is the use of setting the "Unique Visitor Variable" if it does not track customer loyalty by that variable?Has anyone found that this is better when using the new visitor id service?Darryn

I have Salesforce data connected to Omniture so when I look up "SfIDs" I can see who visited my website.I am looking to use Omniture to see what pages did a specific SFiD (salesforce lead) has been visiting, how can I retrieve this data on Omniture?

Hi all,I am trying to understand the VisitorID data we are collecting. I extracted VisitorID data from datawarehouse to see what data is being captured. The VisitorID returned varies from 18 characters to 39 characters with an underscore separating two values (the majority of entries are 34/35/39 characters). Can you explain what these values are?Also the number of VisitorID entries returned were higher than both the Unique Visitor and Visit number for the same period, but less than the Page View number for the same period. So I am confused as to what metric these values are being set against.Thanks in advance!

When looking at a user agent report, I noticed some bots crawling on our site which are from a CRM tool our marketing uses. These bots weren't blocked via the usual bot filter, thus I created a bot rule that should recognize them via the user agent's parameters. Unfortunately this didn't change much, the bot still appears in the user agent report and inflated our figures. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I'm looking to track customer paths following a search for a particular keyword. For example, a customer searches for the term "iPhone" and receives a list of results, I want to look at which page they went to from those search results and potentially some other pages beyond that also.What is the best way to carry this out? Full Path reports will show me where they go from the search results pages, but I can seem to monitor this based on the search of a particular keyword. On the Help Searches path reports, I only seem to get the next term the customer searched for, and not the page they went to from the search results page.Any help or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Hi, I have noticed that the Scheduler function in Report Builder is no longer sending out scheduled reports. Nothing has changed in the scheduled reports, one day they just stopped working! First I checked the reports did not have an end date, which they didn't. I then tried removing them completely and re-adding them to the Scheduler. But still no reports are being sent. Has anyone had any similar problems or are there any issues with file types that anyone has found? Simple question, but struggling to find an answer.We are tracking www.domain.com and have created a blog on subdomain.domain.com.  The blog is on a different server and does not have sitecat tracking code on it.I feel we should still be able to tracking the # of referring visits from subdomain.domain.com to www.domain.com...but we cannot.  What am I missing?Thank you for the assist.

after the upgrade last night my left nav will not populate in firefox v21 (I use this because I like WATS plug-in and this is the last version I've found where it works well, I also modified it to do 75 props and evars). I can get the left nav in IE and Chrome but can't really use them behind our firewall because of our load balancing proxy servers which flip me from proxy server to proxy server quite often which causes analytics (cloud etc) to toss me out (I need to use our default proxy settings for corporate web needs). So in firefox I can hard code a specific proxy server to use and not get tossed out very often (multiple days vs 10-20 minutes).So everything was fine until today when I get the blue blocks trying to load the left nav menu and they never finish. I have most recently left it for over 1 hour (while at lunch) and it never finished. this is what it looks like after 1 hour.

Since the update last week, Ad Hoc Analysis is broken and unusable by our organization.  All existing calculated metrics have errors and we have been told that all of our metrics need to be manually rebuilt, which we have thousands of.  The ability to copy and edit calculated metrics has been removed, so each metric needs to be built from scratch.  All calculated metrics bring back the same results, even when building them from scratch.  Editing an existing calculated metric, renaming and saving as a new metric changes both the original metric and the new metric.  There is no documentation on how to use these now.  We are also unable to save any projects and some of our projects are randomly disappearing even when saving in the console or saving a local copy.  All of our existing projects that contain calculated metrics need to be rebuilt with new calculated metrics, however, when rebuilding and saving, the updated version does not save.  The updated version, when re-opened, contains a

I am having mobile app and website as well. I am planning to use the same report suite and same props for mobile app and website. How can i differentiate the page view / prop count  between mobile app vs website. Or do i need to have separate report suite for both?  Please give your suggestion. Thanks in advance. 

Hi All,I have a situation with a client where I need to validate their new implementation and ensure data collection is correct, but where we may not be able to run two implementations in parallel (multiple instances of the Visitor ID service is breaking some of the reporting).  Assuming it is not possible to run both together... does anyone have ideas on how we could validate the implementation at scale? Thanks,Jakub

I am no longer able to filter my data.  For example, I'm in my Cities report and when I try to filter down by entering a city (or state) name, I get:No data match these criteria. Please verify the segment, metrics, date range and filters.I know I am not misspelling the filter.  I've tried it on Safari and Chrome and another user tried from another computer and also cannot filter the reports anymore.  Please help.

Just a heads up to all my friends who found their calculated metrics stopped working from the June 2015 release.  A undocumented feature (verified by Customer Care) is that the Calculated Metrics Manager no longer support the Daily Unique Visitor (Even though the interface allows you to select that metric).  To fix this you have to change all your calculations to use unique visitors.  I'm guessing that the data is the same...but unfortunately I don't have the ability to compare the old with the new.  Can anyone verify that the data is the same?  If it is the same, it would have been nice if they would have converted the metrics automatically.

Adobe introduced the new calculated metric builder with the Spring 2015 release, which looks promising, but has completely crippled our current reporting (Provided company wide including C level)With the 2015 release - All of our  current calculated metrics are now brokenThe calculated metric builder is completely different with no clear direction or tutorial of use in Ad HocThere was no communication to us directly on this release and how it would effect our workflowNone of our previous calculated metrics ( in the hundreds and across many reports/automated reports)  were ported over into the new system.We can't fix our current calculated metrics in Ad Hoc by opening, fixing, and re-saving.Before the release we were able to create a new calculated metric based on a current one, copy (via drag and drop), or save as, this no longer works. When using this method all the metrics pull the same number from the original calculated metric.I  then rebuilt the calculated metrics for a key report

Ever since the release Ad-Hoc analysis has not worked.  I have re-installed Java to ensure I am on the latest version and have launched from the web UI.  When you try to run anything it does nothing.  It will also not let you close the tool, you have to close via the task manager.   Anyone else having the same issue?  I have a ticket open, thinking this route would be faster if someone else had the same issue.

Noticed this blog post http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/analytics/the-tie-between-quality-of-experience-and-viewer-engagement/ and asked from ClientCare what does that really mean… new metrics where & what!? :) Got the answer and there are new video core variables available to get better understanding about video stats and even with quality events. Looks very good, and I guess these are free to enable and you just need some new coding for the videos.Anyway, my question is that is this totally different tracking system than the quite new heartbeat video tracking system? Looks like there are quite similar metrics but the other tool (heartbeat) is paid version? :D Or are these exactly same thing or what… yes, a bit confused. Any comments, anyone?

I am trying to run reports out of Adobe Analytics and I currently have an issue where the detail shown on the report does not match the total, I have attached a screen shot of an example from a Time Spent per Visit  report where the number of unique visitors in the Total is 68,557 yet the detail only adds up to 30,235.  If someone could point me in the direction of someone who can assist with this that would be greatly appreciated.Tyler Fish - tyler.fish@hickoryfarms.com
