One application has Start and Complete event.Another application has View and Resend event.I want the variable to be expired after Complete and Resend Event.Please advise.Regards

Hi Everyone,I'm looking to implement some new Report Suites in Adobe Analytics, hunting around it seems that using context data variables and processing rules will be much more efficient/consistent way to populate props, eVars and success events, however before we dive, take the test and start implementing, I just wanted to check:Are there any limitations to the number of Context Data Variables that are allowed per report suite?Are there any limitations to the number processing rules per report suite? - If we are using these to populate our props, eVars and successes the numbers could get pretty high.Are there any disadvantages to using context data variables over the traditional sProp and eVar + Event tags.ThanksToby

Hi guys! I am seeing a very weird issue in my DW report. I am getting more than a 1k of rows which is giving me a visit of 1 for 0 pageviews!! How is that possible? Thanks a lot

We have several weekly reports exporting to an FTP each week from data warehouse. Ever since March 8, 2015, however, they have failed. It just so happens that March 8 coincides with daylight savings time, so wondering if that could have anything to do with it. Still able to email reports, they just fail when directed to the FTP.Any ideas?Anyone else experiencing a similar issue?

Hello - I'm having trouble launching AdHoc (formerly Discover, of course) on my new Windows 8  laptop.  Does anyone have troubleshooting experience beyond what's in the KB posted?   I was previously able to run AdHoc, now it won't run.  All latest Windows Updates are applied and a new Java has been installed since experiencing the difficulty launching.  My reliable Vista box right beside me still runs AdHoc just fine.    I have also tried launching AdHoc with Firewall and Antivirus disabled, neither has helped.  The JavaWS process starts along with the Java banner, then it all goes away. No error messages on screen and no logged errors.Thank you for any info/ideas.  

Hi, This is specific to Advanced Search in Ad Hoc. I see four options presented to Search this report using:1) All of these words2) The exact phrase3) Any of these words4) None of these wordsIs there any documentation on this that we can refer? Are there any special characters that cannot be used? When I search for a specific keyword within the report as "silverspoon" I end up getting 'Report has no data' although I do see results without the quotes.Are there any delimiters that can be used to separate multiple words? Can I search words together? Is it case sensitive?Can I use regex? Can you please provide examples?Thanks,

Hello,I've an active Classification Builder rule set which I would like to extend to additional report suites. What's the best of way of accomplishing this?I've tried it by adding new report suites in the rule set page but I then get the alert message: "This action will deactivate this rule set and no rules will be processed. Are you sure you want to continue?" (see attached screen grab)This message put me off applying the changes as I don't want to deactive the rule set, I am just applying it to new report suites.Thanks, Paulo

Hi, I am running a page report that shows all the visits to the pages of my site. If I compare the visits for two months, at the bottom of the page I get the total visits for each month. I would like then to have these two total also in the graph, instead of having several bars that compare the visits to specific pages. I couldn't find a way to show this total on the graph. Would appreciate some help! Thanks

I am comparing evars and props in Ad Hoc Analysis. I know in Site Catalyst you are not able to view success events in traffic reports, but in Ad Hoc you are. Should success events be used in traffic reports in Ad Hoc?

Hi ,My organization uses Adobe marketing cloud as a web analytics tool. We currently get data after logging into the website and collecting figures manually. But I understand that we can achieve the same using clickstream data that is provided by adobe to my organization. Could someone please help me out how to do this. I did a lot of research and came up with the below query that I ran on the clickstream data but the figures did not match. Is there a way to wrap multiple request into one Omniture call if they don't have any overlapping custom variables?  For examples, we have a call for the link, which is passing only two variables and another for the destination page.  I personally think it's a waste to be sending these types of request so we either rethink if we want to track this customer behavior or find a better method of tracking without the adding in the extra request resulting in millions of Omniture calls.  This can potentially save over $25K a year based on current traffic levels.-Robert 

I do not have an iPhone 6 but am being told that, reports built with report builder on an automated schedule, fail to load on iOS 8.1.3.Has anyone heard of this before? If so, where can I obtain more information on this and how to fix?I believe this sounds like an isolated case, but do not have enough data or information to prove it.Thanks,-Scott

They are not clickable on mobile Safari anymore (iPhone 4 with iOS 7.1 and iPad with iOS 8.1). I've noticed that in order to navigate to some link I need to click it twice (quickly tap the link twice). Right now all links are broken on our site on iOS devicesI've found few topics where users had quite similar problems, and tried to disable the forced link tracking or increase the timeoutSetting the s.forcedLinkTrackingTimeout to something like 2sec or more actually does not fix the problem, links are not clickable anywayS

Hi,We are using ldap login module to create users in CQ from Ldap. We want to use SSO handler for authentication by cookies. I saw on ldap documentation that we need trust_credentials_attribute="TrustedInfo" parameter to make it work. Putting this paramter alone in ldap_login.conf file isn't working for us. I don't know what this attribute will do because looking at the source of SSOAuthenticaitonHandler, if i just pass the uid of the user in the cookie and give it the highest rank among all authentication handlers then it will work.Also, do i need to have this attribute trust_credentials_attribute="TrustedInfo" configured within repository.xml because we have already deleted the below  from the repository xml file as we aren't using CRXLoginModule. <LoginModule class="com.day.crx.core.CRXLoginModule">            <param name="anonymousId" value="anonymous"/>            <param name="adminId" value="admin"/>            <param name="disableNTLMAuth" value="true"/> 

My locale development repository is quite big and at times i need to do a force system restart without shutting down my crx repository properly. Next time i start my repository the lucene indexing begins by indexing the under /var/audit/....I've followed the steps described in http://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kb/how-to-optimize-lucene-index-to-gain-efficiency.html to disable the lucene index for the audit events. However lucene still indexes these nodes at server startup. Is there anything else that needs to be done?Thanks.
